No doubt I enjoyed looking at my beautiful cup of latte!
However, being a croissant lover I enjoy driving out of my way to The Whisk for some breakfast.
Got to The Whisk at 10am for late breakfast to refresh before a meeting at noon.
The pastry cabinet was completely empty. (Photo taken at 10:03
Good croissant and coffee. It has a nice inside seating area, but with limited tables. Nice to sit for a bit to relax and unwind on weekend mornings
Picked up a few pastries for breakfast w friends and they were all delicious. The sour cherry danish was definitely the favourite overall!
Reasonably priced pastry and good coffee.
Easy street parking for a quick pop in.
Only thing I would change is to have boxes available for big/4+ pastry orders
The Whisk ranks up there in the top pastry shops in Brisbane. With my wife being a Pastry Chef herself, we tend to visit a lot. The atmosphere of the shop is clean and chic, with the staff being friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this shop. As others have stated before:: go early!
Both cakes and croissants are delicious, be sure to try the matcha cakes
They have good coffee & we loved their croissant. Need to be there early before sold out.
Just got some croissants and one latte from the shop. The croissant is definitely on point. However the latte is kinda too bitter for me to drink it up. Might be the reason they use the deep dark roast coffee beans. Overall, would like to visit again and try the tarts next time.
Whisk maintained their consistency over the years and has never failed my expectations. They are priced fairly compared to the other hyped up patisseries. The savoury pastries are just as good as the sweets! Come early or be met with disappointment 😉
