Love the coffee here , perfect temperature and strength !! And so smooth !!
Peanut butter croissant, ham/cheese croissant and blueberry danish are all AMAZING!! My favourite patisserie in Brisbane.
My last visit of this patisserie was Oct. last year because I am prions to introduce this local gem to my guests from Hong Kong.
Upon the first step in, I noticed that they serve more varieties than what I expected. Particularly, those croissants with spicy salmon and fish roes.
Ordered different types of croissants to go with the nice prepared coffee for my guests. Needless to say, their thumbs keep right up while they are having their breakfasts.
Lol!

Lovely bakery, always busy. The pastry is just simply awesome. Croissants are good but my favourite is the cinnamon apple puff pastry. That's absolutely amazing. They service good coffee as well. Be sure to get in there earlier or things will sell out.
Not often I'd get out of bed for pastries, but given the goodness to be found at The Whisk from international award winning chef Justin, I might just have to do it again and wake up earlier next time!
On this (my first) visit we enjoyed:
* chocolate & almond croissant, $5.80
* peanut butter croissant, $5.70
* cinnamon apple pastry, $5.80
The place is pretty small and tables/seats are at a premium. We manage to nab one of the last remaining tables for 2, and squeeze the boy on my lap. A small sacrifice/inconvenience for good food 😉

Whilst surveying the choices in the cabinet, I spot a sign for their new Kransky sausage & caramelized onion with smoked BBQ sauce croissant, and my heart was sold. Unfortunately it was actually out of stock... so here's hoping for better luck next time!

Pastries are always prepared to perfection with perfect balance of subtle flavours with textures, sizes and beauty
Came here on Saturday morning, the place was not crowded. I and my boyfriend managed to get a table inside. The place was rather small and does not have many tables. The outside decorated to be like rustic, but the inside and the way they display the croissant are modern.
Ordered a small latte, a large latte, an almond croissant, and a chocolate croissant. All orders were perfectly made but delivered rather slowly. Both croissants tasted really great, but I personally liked the almond croissant more. I tried eating it nicely with fork and knife, but it turned out messy as the croissants were flaky.
I might come back here in the future to try out the other pastries :).
Suburban Gem
Tucked away in the back streets of Upper Mount Gravatt and in an area famous for Asian food, this gorgeous little patisserie was a surprising find. The pastries are presented beautifully, and are buttery and flaky - and well deserve the awards they have won. We thought the coffee was unremarkable though - but that's because we like strong coffee.
Fell in love on my first visit. Still not over this stunning blueberry tart I had that made my tastebuds sing!! Croissants here are also fantastic.
Croissants are fabulous! I am so into their fabulous almond croissants that ignoring Im on diet. Strong caffeine and sugar make my day LOL
I also tried their cakes a few times and that coconut mango one really hit my heart!
Good croissant and coffee. It has a nice inside seating area, but with limited tables. Nice to sit for a bit to relax and unwind on weekend mornings
Picked up a few pastries for breakfast w friends and they were all delicious. The sour cherry danish was definitely the favourite overall!
Reasonably priced pastry and good coffee.
Easy street parking for a quick pop in.
Only thing I would change is to have boxes available for big/4+ pastry orders (would happily pay extra for a box) but not a big deal and doesn't take away from how great this place is!
The Whisk ranks up there in the top pastry shops in Brisbane. With my wife being a Pastry Chef herself, we tend to visit a lot. The atmosphere of the shop is clean and chic, with the staff being friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this shop. As others have stated before:: go early!
Both cakes and croissants are delicious, be sure to try the matcha cakes
They have good coffee & we loved their croissant. Need to be there early before sold out.
Just got some croissants and one latte from the shop. The croissant is definitely on point. However the latte is kinda too bitter for me to drink it up. Might be the reason they use the deep dark roast coffee beans. Overall, would like to visit again and try the tarts next time.
Whisk maintained their consistency over the years and has never failed my expectations. They are priced fairly compared to the other hyped up patisseries. The savoury pastries are just as good as the sweets! Come early or be met with disappointment 😉
