Couldn't get over how quiet it was there. Lido has a lot of good competition now. Never used to. Pizza's are good but their a la carte menu needs a huge shakeup. They need a half decent chef to compete with The Arborist and Manly Boathouse.
Love this local place but it's inconsistency can be really frustrating. Food has always tasted great but on busy nights wait times are painful. We had a 6:30pm booking and our breads came out instantly, but our mains didn't come out until 7:50pm. By that time my one year old was incredibly frustrate
Superb food with authentic Italian flavours. Nice relaxed feel. The pizzas looked amazing so I'll be ordering them for takeaway soon.
Iām not sure if there has been a change in ownership or just a large staff turnover, but the pizza has gone down terribly. Garlic pizza had little cheese and no garlic at all. The Parma pizza also lacked toppings. Plus both pizzas (gluten free bases) were smaller than they use to be.
