Had a vegetarian dinner at this restaurant last month. Did not expect the lay-put was so good and contemporary. Service was friendly and hospitable. Ordered the vegan spring rolls, Tom Yum with vegetable and Tofu parcels for entrees. In addition, the mains were vegetables on Panang style and Pad Kee Mao with vegetables. Loved the Tom Yum, which came with generous portion and rich herb flavour. Those mains were our first trial and they were tasteful and impressive. Overall, it was a decent experience.
This has to be the best Thai I've had in Brisbane. I had the BBQ chicken Penang curry, was incredible, perfect amount of heat. Combination seafood was great except of the lack of it. If more was added it would have been 10 out 10. Amazing food here.
I got take away and it was absolutely amazing, the food was wonderful, and the customer service was exceptionally amazing. The lady whom I spoke to was very friendly and super helpful. This is definitely a place that I will get food from again. The quality of food and customer service was beyond what I expected. Very happy with Khot Thai Restaurant.

Quite simply one of the best Thai restaurants in North and West of Brisbane.
It was a pleasure to know I could go here with friends and never have to worry about allergens or vego/vegan requirements.
Full of flavour with adequate portion sizes. We are staggered by the breath of choice in the menu here.
Do yourself a favour (sorry Molly Meldrum) and try the duck dumplings, the Pad Prik Thai On (sp?) and my go to fave, the Penang Chicken.. (actually, we are working through the menu).
And a special note for the delightful lady who we often see front of house. (We love you)

Ordered via uber and was impressed with the taste and portion. Had the chicken Tom kha with rice and was and I was really satisfied. There's enough meat and rice given so will definitely order again.
Best Thai I've had so far. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. The yellow chicken curry was amazing........

We love this restaurant, food is fresh, authentic and the staff are great. We were their first customers and will coming back very often. Nice quiet venue with a bottle shop directly opposite and plenty of parking around. The Paddington Hardware parking area is ideal when the Hardware store is closed. Take away is available. They will let you take your leftovers away as well. Great Paddington Restaurant.
I had lunch here again today. Really great to have a Thai restaurant with so many vegan options. The staff are so friendly and the food is delicious and fresh. I have tried a few different dishes and so far my favourite is the Thai fried rice with tofu. The Thai red curry is also amazing! A lot of the dishes on the menu can also be made vegan too if you ask them. Great place. Can't wait to go back again soon.
We have dined at Khot Thai with our kids on four occasions since it first opened a month ago. Every single time the food has been excellent and the service attentive. I usually judge a thai restaurant by its Pad Thai and its green chicken curry - both of these dishes are very well executed here. I would encourage those who have been disappointed in the infancy of this restaurant to give it another go, perhaps dine in as some dishes don't travel well. I'd be surprised if you are disappointed again.
Wow, wow, wow, what an amazing small business! We had the most delicious catering delivered straight to our door for a birthday party celebration and it was an absolute hit! Con was excellent to deal with, the portions were very generous and the flavour was fantastic! The bain maries looked great and keep the food warm for ages and then Con collected everything a few hours later. Highly recommend.

Excellent food choices ranging from entree, main dish, chef's sugguestion as well as desserts at this busy casual Thai restaurant tucked away in Milton. Quick friendly service. Staff are helpful. Nice succulent chicken satay skewers. However, the Smokey beef lack that Smokey taste and rather watery sauce.

4.5 stars is on the money. Closer to 5 than 4 though. I Ordered the Pad Thai seafood. Dine in. $15.50. Flavour was good. Beautiful wedge of fresh lime on the dish. I was very pleasantly surprised when I tasted a sea scallop. There are also two beautiful king prawns in there one with the tail on. It's lovely to see some restaurants still using quality local and imported ingredients.
The decore is simple, functional and easy on the eyes.

Great fresh healthy Thai food! I've eaten here several times and it's always delicious. You can tell all the veggies are fresh. There is no corkage for BYO and you can buy a beer or wine a few doors down to enjoy with your meal. They do takeaway and have a few tables (inside and outside) if you would like to eat there.
We has Heart Thai cater for 40 people for my 50th birthday party last weekend. They delivered an array of hot, delicious food which they set up quickly and with minimal fuss. They even provided take away containers for leftovers. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was. The next day they came and took away the bain-maries (which we didn't have to clean). We had fabulous food for almost no effort from us and at a very reasonable price. It was a huge success. We would definitely call them in again.
