Great delicious Chinese food! Fast and nice service. True Cantonese taste. And surprisingly the restaurant is quiet. The boss is very friendly. And the price is very reasonable. We recommend here for the ones who want to have quick Chinese dinner before midnight flight!

Really good Chinese food but there's been multiple times when I call them and the line is busy, not because they're busy but because the phone isn't on the hook (I've seen when I come in). I've driven there to order when this happens but then I have to wait when if I could have called ahead I would have saved 30-45 minutes.
Good food, poor service.

I no longer live in Northside but will make the trip to this place. Great service, delicious food and reasonably priced. They always remember my order (what can I say, I love their addictive prawn and scallop rolls and their amazing kway teow). Restaurant inside is quiet and not brightly lit (I prefer it) and the location is not far from the airport. Perfect for a bite to eat before departure.

We often order takeaways from them and they never disappoint. Truly a standout among the other Chinese restaurants in the area. The price is affordable & the serving size is ample. A dine in meal of $100 serves 3 adults and 3 children.

Many emotions from my visit to this restaurant. Entering the front door you are greeted with absolute silence, which I know is not the authentic Chinese experience. Noisy people. Quiet restaurant. Once ordering it was evident the kitchen was in complete disarray as the tofu was ‘going to take an extra 5 minutes to cook’ tofu is easy to cook, what’s going on in there? The tofu was floppy and moist, which is silly because everyone knows tofu should be crunchy. I also ordered sweet and sour pork, which was just golden syrup with pineapple in it. I’m giving this a two star because they gave me a discount for not ordering online? Whatever that means. Will probably go back next week

What a fantastic find!! Best Chinese we’ve had since leaving the UK 3 years ago. Free yummy fresh prawn crackers, perfect curry puffs and Satay chicken and Singapore noodles. Very large portions for takeaway and great service. We will definitely be back 😋😊

Been here twice and always great tasting food with lots of meat . The chefs definitely know how to cook. Tried Singapore noodles and Satay chicken, both were excellent and very reasonably priced . Prawn crackers are the best around and are free!
You know they’re good when they repeat your order back to you. The place looks clean and tidy inside and has enough parking outside.
Best Chinese in Brisbane that we’ve found in 3 years being here.

Extremely disappointing “Chinese” meal. Can not understand the high score here as food was of very low quality. Maybe the chef was having a bad day. Cauliflower every where, hardly Chinese. Lady serving was very nice only positive of the meal. First Chinese restaurant I have ever visited where chopsticks were not given.

It was our last night in Brisbane before flying back to Townsville the next morning and we were just craving for Chinese food. After walking quite a bit in the cold from where we were staying, my husband and I were happy to find the restaurant. Literally, nobody was there when we came in and we thought the store was closed. It took a while for the staff to come out and take our orders. It took them another while to come back out of kitchen when we realized there were no plastic fork/spoon with our takeaway. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal despite - stir fry chicken and veggies, pork wonton and seafood fried rice.

Amazing Chinese cuisine. If you're looking for that old school, wok charred flavour that so many restaurants lack these days, then hit this place up! Very efficient service and nice atmosphere. Food is bang on, love the flavours, generous servings, and great prices too. Get on it.

My husband and I have been visiting here since it has opened, great to find good chinese again. each dish has a unique flavour {rare} love the ma po bean curd , salt and pepper tofu, satay lamb , hell just about everything is great. The chef knows how to blend spices very artfully.
Service is prompt, very courteous and friendly. The tables are spaced nicely with plenty of room between each so conversation can be made and heard. Always anticipate coming here as it is so enjoyable.

I guess Chinese food is out of vogue at the moment, with Thai being the flavour of the month, (or should that be year), because this place should be far busier than it is. I don't know how they keep the food, especially the veg so fresh when there's so few patrons, but it's been consistently great the 4 or 5 so times we've been.

It's got to be one of the best appointed restaurants in the area, with white tablecloths, soft furnishings and carpet, (a big improvement on the previous Indian restaurant which was incredibly loud when full). Only 'Marinara', the Italian joint up the road is in the same league ambience wise, but even it is more casual.

As for the food, the quail entrée is a standout and unbelievably good value. The usual suspects of fillet beef, chow mein, etc. are all great, but the spicy lamb, (and it actually IS spicy), and the deep fried duck with plum sauce are delicious. I don't know how well deep fried stuff would fare when getting a delivery, or takeaway, so if you want maximum crispy goodness with your succulent duck, you know what you need to do: stop reading reviews, grab a bottle, and go.

And just for a bit of balance to the, "I wonder if the owner is writing this?" type review, I wasn't a fan of the curry puffs: too much pastry, and not enough filling, but I see that as an Indian side anyway, so stick to the Chinese and I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Went to Clayfield Court Chinese Restaurant to get takeaway tonight and it was awesome Chinese food. It will be our go to for take away moving forward. The restaurant itself was quiet which was a shame as it has been styled well (more blend Asian than Chinese) and great food! Selection of other Asian flavours on the Chinese menu also.
