Me and partner had a great meal here! We may have over ordered as we had to ask for doggy bags! But it’s so affordable we got carried away with wanting to try all the different menu items! Great place and would definitely recommend.

Been meaning to try this place out for a long time now but being Vietnamese myself I was quite skeptical to pay for such pricey Vietnamese food. Red lotus has proven that they are worth the little bit extra. All the meals were well presented and delicious. Maybe just the Pepsi pork belly was slightly disappointing but the rest of the meals were very palatable. Their lychee lemongrass cocktail is super delicious. I loved the beautiful red lanterns which provided some wonderful ambient lighting. A nice restaurant for the area.

I have had Red Lotus bookmarked for soOo long but we have never managed to get ourselves a booking... until now!! Finally!!! I have not tried a lot of vegan asian food and I don't believe I've ever had Vietnamese before, so I was excited to try it!!
There is a whole range of vegan options on the menu and I of course had to try the vegan pho (I got the special one with tofu and soy meat). I also got stir fried greens with tofu. I can't believe how crazy the pho was. I thought I was eating meat (don't know how to feel about that haha!!). The broth was super warm, salty and flavourful. My only issue was that the bowl was so big, I only managed to get through a quarter :( Other than, it was amazing!! I also had the vegan spring rolls which were really good too.
Overall, this is a great restaurant for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters and everyone will find something on the menu. It's also super good to get some warm pho in Winter!!!

The food was quite good. Particularly the prawns and the duck. The entrees not so much with the quail being a little dry and the Vietnamese fishcakes not much to my liking. The service was efficient without being particularly friendly. The ambience was ok but we were unfortunate to be situated at the last table next to the toilets which are not particularly well screened meaning we had to keep asking other patrons to close the door. I'd rate it 3 and half stars.

Came here on a Saturday night with my partner. Reading some of the reviews, we decided to make reservations ahead of time, which worked out well because it was almost full when we arrived at 7pm.
The menu has upgraded, compared to the one on Zomato. Each dish on the menu was accompanied by a story about it's origin or inspiration - the entire menu was almost like a storybook!
My partner and I ordered a rose and lychee-and-lemongrass cocktail for drinks, the latter being one of the popular sellers. We shared the peking duck rice paper rolls as an entree - it was deliciously full of duck and pickled vegetables, the perfect combination. For mains, we shared the morning glory (a must try Viet greens), duck-doggy-style, wagyu pho and jasmine rice. The duck was deliciously aromatic with lemongrass and spices. The wagyu melted in our mouths - well worth the price (yes, the bowl is quite large - so opt for the 125g). The pho broth and morning glory, however, were a tad too salty for my liking.
Decor was nice and elegant. The service were quite efficient too, although it would have been nice for someone to come back and refill our waters or offer us the dessert menus.
Overall, despite the other reviews on Zomato, Red Lotus was "good". I think the stand out dishes would be the peking duck rice paper rolls, and duck-doggy-style. If you're going to go for a pho, choose the wagyu beef.

We went on Friday night and both of us just ended up having the standard pho. The bowls were large with plentiful servings. Having had plenty of pho in Inala in places in Tan Thanh, I can't say the one Red Lotus would match up to that standard, but it was good nonetheless. The beef was a little chewy for my liking, but the broth and noodles were nice. I also think they could have been a little more generous on the beansprouts.

I also had the panan cremè bruleè. I would say that the sugar at the top was a little too soft and not as crunchy as you would expect when you first tap your spoon into it. The rest of the dessert was quite flavoursome though. It was small, which was the perfect size for me to finish off after a large pho dinner.

The atmosphere and decor was nice and very clean. I also quite enjoyed reading the commentary as I perused the menu they gave us.

Food is consistently good; almost as good as Darra/Inala if pricier/more inventive menu.   My children particularly love it.  Downside is its popularity, leading to problems sometimes finding a table inside (its a narrow footpath outside on an unloveable corner).   I'd avoid takeaway, the wait times can be long but most of all polystyrene and bags sap all the crisp energy from Vietnamese cuisine.

I've been here a couple of times and have tried most of the items on the menu and this is as good as it gets for Vietnamese food. I love the beef noodle soup (pho) but I made the mistake of ordering the large size and I have to say 'my eyes were bigger than my stomach'. I really like the decoration with the red lotus flowers for lighting. This is definitely the place I go to when I crave Vietnamese food. And I have to mention, I love the lychee cider!

Amazing food with even better vegan and vegetarian options! Me and my girlfriend ordered their vegetable curry and a 'tofu ramen' (can't remember the exact name of the dish) and they were both AMAZING. quick service and reasonable priced food. Will defiantly become a regular visitor here.

We visited Red Lotus for our daughter's birthday during the SE QLD rain bomb. The weather definitely kept a few people away, but business was still good on a Friday night. Red Lotus have been serving fresh flavoursome Vietnamese food for over a decade now and this visit was no exception. The noodle salad with a bit of everything was very popular. Servings are huge and great value. The spicy lemongrass chili barramundi wasn't quite the spice hit my husband was hoping for, but still well received. It's easy to see Red Lotus being around for another decade and more!

We went here last night in the middle of some crazy rain. But that’s beside the point. This restaurant was cosy and cute, not too busy. We ordered spring rolls, pepsi marinated pork ribs, the crispy skin chicken (which comes with fried rice) the morning glory and barramundi and some cocktail. It was all really good - and great value for money. We ate like kings at a feast. They even had to bring an extra table over which was crazy. I should Have taken a photo but I was too excited. We have leftovers for lunch today. The morning glory was amazing and I really loved the crispy chicken and fried rice. It’s my second time here and I’m really glad we dined here last night. I do think the lighting was a bit too bright and there could be some light music playing to help the vibe. Apart from that, a really good restaurant. At the end my friend said ‘you haven’t seen the last of us’ and he was right. we will be returning. Thank you.

Awesome food, the pho is just as good as cafe omai's one Pros: - amazing food - takes care of the dietary requirements. (The vegan pho might be one of the best things ever.) - lots of options - really friendly staff - been here many times and the quality is always great Cons: - a tad pricy - the space is a bit small - hard to find parking
