Below average. Seriously the smallest piece of salmon and sushi rolls you ever did see. No straws for my Coke, help yourself water at the other side of the room, then there was only one cup, sashimi (slithered slithers) salad drenched in mustard (why?), Forget the spicy chicken and spicy fish, crab
I had the chicken curry Bento. The inclusions that you get with this Bento are a little bit different then some of the other chain sushi places. The pork gyozas were a welcome change. I found that the curry sauce was a bit sweet to my taste.
Overall it was an enjoyable meal.
We decided to pop in given the sushi was on special $3 plates. Much to our disappointment the sushi was as miserable as the service. We should have checked google first before we wasted our time, money and appetite. Avoid at all cost!
The sushi train was more or less empty, perhaps not surprising as there were not too many patrons and it was relative late. The selection was not particularly varied and it took considerable time to get the ordered dishes. The quality of the food was good and the prices are competitive.
Great little hidden gem, not usually that busy and prices are very reasonable.. try the seared salmon nigiri 🤤
