Prior to the Covid 19 and all the social distancing restrictions kicking in, Miss Y and I enjoyed an amazing dinner at Polpetta Italian Kitchen. We both enjoy Italian food and I had been wanting to try Polpetta for quite some time!. We got seated quite comfortably in a nice little corner away from the air con vent, Miss Y gets chilled quite easily. The venue was really quite lovely, spaced out beautifully.
Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. She made our first time visit very easy with her food recommendations. She brought out extra bread on the house to mop up the rest of the sauce from the meatballs. Cocktails were tasty. Busy restaurant but the tables are good distance apart to give customers their own space still. Overall lovely restaurant. Would definitely revisit.
Excellent Dinner at Polpetta! What a lovely evening we spent at this great restaurant. Excellent service and a friendly, warm atmosphere. The rissotto was superb as was the pasta dish my friend ordered. Friendly, helpful service was much appreciated. Pricing was fine too as were the Aperol Spritz drinks. A great night.
Came on 15/05/2019 Wednesday night for dinner. As one of the few diners inside service was efficient and friendly.
Ordered the Pappardelle pasta with beef ragu. Delicious!! Cannot fault it. Portion size of the pasta wasn't too filling so recommend ordering a side or entree to share.

Great Setting, very attentive and friendly staff; fro the manager, to the head chef. The food was divine I had the fettuccine with zucchini flowers, my daughters had the pappardelle beef ragu and the radicchio and rocket salad, we all loved it. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommend it.
Five stars from me. When I dine out I like to eat food that I don't cook at home. Polpetta is an Italian restaurant that offers more than just pasta. We started with the beetroot risotto, absolutely delicious. Mains, slow cooked lamb shoulder, with rostered carrots and fennel,could not fault it. My husband had flank steak...cooked to perfection, just delicious.
Would definitely recommend, nice place, atmosphere and the location at vibrant Howard Smith wharves. Do try.

With a calm atmosphere, is the exclusive restaurant of [The Fantauzzo Hotel] located in the brand new Howard Smith Wharf place. Here you can enjoy a service of high world standard, a dedicated multilingual friendly staff and above all a menu according to its price value.
Its access facilities are very convenient, parking in the hotel's basement or street parking (free after 7:00 pm and weekends) up the Lower Bowen Tce, using 2 lifts to go down to the hotel or just taking the CityHopper boat transport until Eagle St Station.
Ask for Justina or Rossi, they can solve all your requirements (like my customised vegetarian breakfast) immediately and make your stay fantastic!

This restaurant offers great food. Presentation was good. We ordered the meatball for entre although the taste was somewhat bland.
The fetticine pesto with zucchini flower was definitely something different. It's not something that you always see on menus and the taste was very pleasing.
My friend ordered risotto. The mushroom was very fragrant but the taste was not overpowering.
Overall, great food, service and ambience. Reasonable price considering its location.
Very good service. Super tasty food. Only complaint is the small portion for pasta but it's one of the best pasta I ever had. Breakfast options are just ok but really good coffee
We visited here in March and loved it! Restaurant had a few seats available for walk-ins. Decor was nice, food was delicious and fancy. We had great some great food here. Would visit again on my next trip to Sydney
