Seriously great coffee, great service, well priced! The team here are so polite and lovely. Open weekends too, helpful as most places in the area are shut. Hope these guys survive 🙏

Seems to be a popular little place with seatings in the back patio. Coffee is great. Food is ok. We had the Benedict, Ham & cheese croissant and Big George.

Unassuming but definitely inviting. Great food options. Too generous in portion, I was soooo full! The donuts were quite unique too. The coffee was on point.

Was really excited to try Frankie and George after seeing it on the Urban List. Unfortunately, we waited almost an hour for our food and when my breakfast came it was wrong. After sending it back, it came out wrong again. We decided to leave and we were happy to receive a full refund. On the plus side, the staff were extremely apologetic and very friendly and the coffee was great. Hope to have a better experience next time.

Oh My Gosh! best coffee in the area, i love that they use real chocolate too! great service and will now be my regular!

The coffee was great awesome but my dish was a bit too salty and it was a bit over powering. I could barely taste anything else but the saltiness. I did appreciate that they used real chocolate, opposed to cocoa powder, for my cappuccino, which was a really nice touch. My partner on the other hand really loved his dish, which was baked eggs. The staff were quite friendly and warm and the backyard was really beautiful.

In my opinion Frankie and George used to have the best Chai this side of the city. The Chai I purchased today was absolutely terrible. Very mild and watery. They used to freshly brew it on milk and it was worth the wait. Today they squirted what looked like a syrup into my cup. Safe to say it went straight down the drain.

When I used to work on George Street a few years ago, this was my favourite coffee shop. I had the opportunity to stop by and have coffee and banana bread today - it’s just as amazing as I remember!

Lovely atmosphere and set out with great potential, but the coffee and service are both incredibly inconsistent. Great one day, poor the next. Disappointing when you consider the price.

Met at this new cafe for a quick catchup with an old friend - Ordered a pumpkin + avo sandwich made fresh that day plus a soy latte.

Ambience and atmosphere was relaxed, and I particularly loved the backyard scenery. Wasn't too loud and the environment was nice for a lovely conversation (4/5)

Service and staff was pleasant, and quite efficient for a new cafe. Also very accomodating when I told them of my nut allergy. (4/5)

Food was also decent. I enjoyed the presentation of my food, but taste-wise, it was a little over average - good, but not too memorable. Coffee was very decent though. Not too strong, but if you're asking for a smooth, good-tasting coffee, this place does it right. Previous reviews have mentioned the limited food items on the menu. I agree, as the menu seems to be only limited to appropriate time frame for breakfast-brunch. We came at lunch, and luckily there was still some food items left. (3/5)

Overall not bad for a new cafe, it definitely has room and potential for some more improvements, and I look forward to going back.

A great addition to this end of the city. The coffee was well made, delicious and prompt. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and no rushing you out. I love the back courtyard and it's a comfortable, clean space to relax.

Make your own mind up. Try this place - great staff and beautiful location a sort of lane way experience though the lane is closed. Al fresco in the courtyard is extremely pleasant. The menu such that it is is well done, but VERY limited. Being on a Seefood diet I am not usually stumped but here I sadly struggle to find a meal I feel like eating. Hopefully this will change as it is early days for FNG. I have hesitated to be too critical but after my fourth visit when they are actually open and being for a fourth time somewhat underwhelmed by choice of foods this is my observation borne out by multiple attempts. The jury is out. A good try but let down by choices.

Was actually on my way to try out the Wanderer when I passed this coffee shop & decided to try it. Pleased I did as they pour a beautiful flat white. I ordered a double shot as I was informed the coffee was a pretty mild roast. The double shot fulfilled my desire for a coffee hit & it bought out all those delicate tones in the brew

Rounding off my days at on the other side of town, my companion, Iron Fist, decided that the second cafe that we should try was at Frankie and George, along George Street, not far from Iconic. Being quite a minimalist, he was drawn in by their simplistic yet bright setup. Ordering at the counter, the options were much the same as any regular cafe. Like Iconic, the cafe also featured seating out the back, but today we didn't have time to appreciate the setting.

Bircher Muesli is a must try (available in Vegan option). Best coffee in Brisbane CBD and gorgeous courtyard out the back, perfect for work meetings or work day escape.

Friendly crew, deliciously smooth coffee, and interesting spins on the standard cafe-to-go options (no cooked big breakfasts here). I had the Bircher muesli with yoghurt. I asked for a dollop of honey, which really made the dish. It may be a small thing, but the padded stools are really comfy! A great start to the morning.
