We have been eating at the Ritzy Fish for years. We go each week with our dogs who just love the outing. The fish is lovely and fresh with great crispy chips. The service is very good and it is so nice to eat outside.

Small plate of food. In a 22 dollar fish meal not enough chips to fill a standard coffee cup. Small salad. It looked like a kids size pub meal you pay 8 dollars for. Fish was fresh.

I went in 25 minutes before they were "supposed to shut", all their tables and chairs were packed up along with the food options. I asked if they were still operating and got a mumbled sentence from the wait staff, said pardon, the lady then just said what back to me. Someone behind the counter then appeared, I asked if I could get something and got a shrug and a no back. If you are open until a particular time, serve until at least 5 minutes before that time.

It’s a fish and chip shop with caring experienced owners. The snapper is consistently good and the salads piquant fresh and totally complementary. Ask for a special if unsure. If you want something different with fresh and healthy ingredients try a curry or chowder. This is suburban eating at its best - consistent, affordable and quality.

The cafe is tired. The menu is tired and really small. The food was average at best. It needs a major facelift to the premises and the menu.

Laid back? More like unconscious! Nonchalant waiter. Eventually realized this is a do it yourself place. Get your own cutlery and water. Wander down the Rd to the bottlo. No corkage. However.... fish cooked perfectly with a fresh salad. Very popular here amid plenty other eating choices. Very relaxed. Good seafood. Oz "service" epitomized. Bring your kids, wear your thongs, eat then go. Recommend.

We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend the calamari, seafood chowder and the salmon special which is served on a bed of salad with potato galettes. Service is great, they can get busy so it's understandable that you may need to wait a little longer on busy nights.

My personal favourite is the salmon dinner while my husband prefers the barramundi fish and chips, where I get to steal a few chips,

Consistently delightful!. My favourite is the crumbed snapper meal. Tonight, again, a beautifully fresh fish, chips and salad (with avocado to die for). It's great value and an easy meal. Staff are always delightful and pleased to see us again. I come once a week when I can. BYO with no corkage also makes it easy to do regularly. Top class fish and chips venue. 11 out of 10. :-)

Best Fish Place in brisbane. It is literally the best fish i have ever had ... If you're in the vicinity you should definitely grab a bite here.. And umm i had an ulterior motive.. there is this really cute and petite brunette working there.. Seemed very tan and pretty... Very beautiful smile.. I just hope she reads this :) I come by every friday and sit at the same spot, i know if she reads this she'll know who i am :) i really would love to take you out someday (i heard her name.. was mira or something)

FRESH,,. I love eating at Ritzy Fish. Easygoing casual atmosphere, child friendly, BYO no extra charge, beautifully cooked fresh fish, great salads and variety. Always reliable for top quality seafood and gourmet fish and chips. Best on the Westside!

Dreadful. Our usual place was closed for holidays so we risked it. Big mistake.<br/><br/>Chips OK, not great but so much better than cod (processed hake?) which was so very bland, schnapper which was small, dry and tough (a crime) and salad which was thrown together with unripe tomatoes and old lettuce. Calamari edible but can't wait for Riverside Seafood to re-open!<br/><br/>Cash only too! This is 2014....<br/><br/>Very ordinary.

Awsome. My favorite fish and chip restaurant in Australia.... always fresh.... always delicious...very high quality produce ... All for $20 for mains....bottle shop next door and no corkage....excellent service.... Run by a Spaniard and his wife who are very professional. Best TarTar Sauce (I think its the dill they put in) . Super crunchy chips....always good

Great selection of fresh fish and seafood. The chips are super crunchy and delicious, and the al fresco seating is marvellous on a warm night. It is pricey though, and the staff were surprisingly reticent to give us extra lemon which seemed absurd after paying $28 for (admittedly delicious) fish and chips with no table service. Lemon quibbles aside, it was a wonderful meal.
