Always delicious food. I've had their Pho, Bun Bo Hue and Vermicilli with Grilled Pork and Spring Rolls. Portion sizes are great and food is always delicious. Only downside is that they've drastically increased their prices. Always my favourite place to go

We ordered the grilled porkchop with broken rice via Ubereats and it was delicious! My husband said it was the best pork chop he's ever had. It was tender and the flavours were super tasty. Will definitely be ordering from here again.

Been here since they first open and when they changed owners. The food is still nice both Pho and Bun Bo Hue are still great choices. However the price has gone up a lot. Compared to other Viet place it is on the higher end.

Even though I live around this restaurant, I even did not notice there was restaurant back side of this building. I do not understand why they do not have signboards?! I randomly found this restaurant while I was web surfing. I had egg noodle with chicken and my partner had rice noodle with lemongrass chicken. Noodles were not that extraordinary but just okay. But chickens were so nice!! Besides price was too good!! I will definitely visit here again and explore other food. I was a little bit worried about old lady who got a lot of negative reviews but thankfully boss(male) served me and he was too good
Jessie
One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants. Always like their crab meat tomato soup , homemade ice lemon tea. The new dish, Sai Gon crisp chicken with rice, yummy!!!The chicken is crisp, tender and juicy. Very recommended !

Two years since our last meal here so it is time to update my review. Phuong Tran and I visit for lunch and our orders are ready in 15 minutes.

Combination Pho (Dac Biet) is served steaming hot. The Beef broth is good, pho noodles silky smooth and I see a generous serve of sliced Beef and Offal. The Spring Rolls are served hot from the deep fryer. Overall, a good lunch. Thank you guys!

I ordered take way last week. $41 three dishesā€¦got home and the containers were not even half full. They skimped on everything. The rice was gross and old. I ordered steak/rice, spicy lemon grass chicken which had no lemon grass.
Disgusting and a letdown. You need to spray disinfectant on the entire premises. Water blast the concrete out front just an overhaul of cleanliness is required!!!!!
Mamlay
I ordered the crispy chicken with rice for my kids and the only regret was I didnt order more! It was so good.. very juice yet still crispy when it arrived at home.
The dry noodles need to be mentioned too... we had with garlic pepper steak, where have you been all these times! Steak was juicy... served a clear soup to compliment the noodle and it was perfect match. It was a perfect #isodinner for us! Would definitely be ordering from you again. šŸ˜

I donā€™t usually do posts like this but I feel like I kind of have to. Iā€™m creating this post/review for a restaurant called ā€œPho Siagonā€ to not only warn people to NOT order from there but to also expose them for the food I received last night via Uber Eats. Last night my husband and I ordered two beef pho soups and we got two completely random soups ā€¦(pictures below). One bowl of soup had cheap slices of processed chicken loaf from a supermarket deli (probably worth 10 bucks a kilo) with little bits of pork. The other bowl of soup had the same cheap slices of deli meat (this time roast beef), the same pieces of pork and also two meats that were completely RAW. One of them was a weird thinly sliced beef, I put it in the soup and it did darken a little on the edges but still remained very raw. The second meat was RAW CHICKEN, completely RAW pieces of chicken, mixed in a container with the other meat Iā€™ve listed. I did get a refund thanks to Uber Eats but this place needs to be audited pronto! They might make someone seriously sick.

You'll walk out of this place with a full belly and 10% discount if you make it rain cash. Serving sizes (soup noodles) are a big bigger than you usual Pho shops.

Having seen that renovations were complete at our local yum cha restaurant Haoke, I was keen to try. Apparently the rest of Sunnybank was too, with lines out the door and hour long queues. Being the impatient girl that I am, I cut our losses quickly and sourced a nearby alternative for lunch. Vietnamese Pho at Pho Sai Gon. Loved by many, despised by a few, I had yet to try it despite living only five minutes away.

This local Vietnamese restaurant is one of our regulars. My favourite dishes here are pho, spring rolls and the combination broken rice. Service is generally very quick and friendly.
Vina
Definitely have to try their combination broken rice!!! This was my first time to try this dish. Itā€™s a rice dish with grilled pork, thinly cut skin pork with shredded pork, fried egg, meat cake (not sure how to call it) and pickled veggies. All the dishes were mouthwatering, especially the grilled pork.

Outstanding food for the price. Fresh and delicious, where the standard continues to be good. Why my family continues to dine here. Recommend.

Did not realise that I have not been back to this Vietnamese restaurant for two and half years. Remember I had the Special Beef Soup (Pho Dac Biet) at my first visit, which was impressive. This time, we chose to have something change so we ordered the Crab Paste Tomato with Vermicelli (Bun Rieu Cua), Spicy Beef Soup (Bun Bo Hue) and Spring Rolls (Cha Gio). Both soup came in first to our tables. Although we particularly asked to have the Bun Bo Hue without shallots and onions on top of the bowl, it did not affect its spicy taste. Loved the ingredient, particularly the noodles. The taste just reminded us about the time at Hue in Oct. last year...so authentic. The other bowl of crab paste tomato vermicelli demonstrated its own flavour. the soup was clear but tasteful and the ingredients were generous. Following the soup came to the table was the freshly made Spring Rolls, which were crispy and I loved them using the vermicelli as one of the ingredients. While we were having the dinner, we noticed that pictures of meals on the wall were very beautiful and they were also indicated with their corresponding numbers ad showed on the menu...so clever. One more thing to mention, if you are fans of fresh sugarcane juice, they are served in this restaurant too!

Aug. 21, 2015
This restaurant has been there for a while, I saw their opening and extension but only find time to visit on today's lunchtime. It is my habit to order the Special Beef Noodles soup for tasting the Vietnamese restaurant whichever I have not tasted before at the first visit. Set-ups in this restaurant are comfortable and spacious. The veg plate of herbs and bean sprouts are fresh and in reasonable quantities. I was impressed with the slices of raw beef on the top of my noodles which was definitely what I expected. Other ingredients of beef ball, beef tendon so, stripe and beef brisket were plenty. Importantly, soup base was so close to the renowned food outlet that I had in Hanoi last April.

They have changed to a slightly smaller sized bowl for medium pho. Taste is still good as usual with soup based just enough taste and strength.

The grilled pork with dried noodle is incredible, friendly service and really good food, I will definitely re attend as soon as I can, my wife loves it too

Food is served fresh and hot in 10 minutes. Friendly staff. I drive half an hour to get there, wt least teice a week. Eat like a king for cheap!

sorry i can't love this place, it just took too long for food to come, is fine when they all come together in the same table, but my husband got his rice like 15 mins earlier than ours, (well we don't start until everyone got their plates)Ā I feel like the beef soup is MSGed (highly) ....i can't sleep that night and i don't like the tendon that has been bleached in total white.Ā the last thing is ....we sat outdoors, and people just smoked under the rooftop yes there are signs and yes is irrelevant to the food nor the store. but the waitress saw them too and didn't stop or warn them. Sorry don't want to come back.

Our new favourite place for dinner! Great quality, extremely quick service and very affordable!! We usually spend $80 on 4 adults and a 4 year old who is obsessed with the dry noodles. We have started eating here at least once a month now

When we walked into this tiny restaurant we were overjoyed to see that the proprietor was the same guy who used to run one of our favourite Vietnamese restaurants in Darra (we stopped going there when it changed hands). The food was just as good as we remembered - lovely delicious flavours and very good value. It's also one of the few places in Brisbane that serves bun rieu - crab tomato noodle soup. Yum!!!
Elle
The chicken pho here was one of the most flavoursome I ever had in Brisbane. The soup had a hint of sweetness that comes with an authentically made chicken broth, which is quite rare to come by these days. The servings are pretty generous as well and the service was quick. I would definitely recommend coming here for some authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Tomcat
Pho Sai Gon is a Vietnamese eatery at Pacific Centre. The simple and clean restaurant is now well-established in Sunnybank Hills and has been a Tomcat family favorite for many years. We were there for weekend dinner and ordered: pho dac biet (special beef noodle soup) and bun thjt nurong cha gio (rice vermicelli with grilled pork and spring roll).Ā

Pho dac biet consist thin sliced raw beef, brisket, beef balls, tripe, tendon & onion. First taste of the soup and I was overwhelmed by the intensely beefy and bold flavours. Paired with the perfectly cooked flat rice noodle and tender beef cuts, it is hard not to put a smile on your face. Minor disappointment was the slight saltiness of the soup base compared to previous visits. 4/5

Rice vermicelli came next with grilled sliced pork, spring roll and shredded veggies. Mixed together with the provided fish based sauce you have a refreshing bowl of happiness with a flavour punch. The pre-marinated pork was sweet with hints of chargrill flavours. Spring rolls contained decent amount of carrot and minced pork fillings. Combined with the fresh veggies and perfectly cooked vermicelli, I was taken to comfort food territory. Bravo! 4.5/5

Hint: Their freshly made sugar cane drink (full ice) comes highly recommended. Broken rice dishes tried so far is a 3.5/5 on average.

We use to go here ALL the time! WEEKLY!
But recently we ordered takeaway and it was a bad experience! The lady just didn't speak fluent english and when I placed my order she didn't communicate very well when I had to add another dish.. all up we paid $50 for 3 meals when it should have been around $40! And when I called back she's trying to justify herself and I asked her why she didn't even explain this.. it's so frustrating!! We unfortunately won't come here again due to the bad experience! It just takes 1 bad time to ruin your impression and experience.
It's not even about the money but how it was handled.. being a loyal customer and all.. we'll head over to the new Vietnamese place newly opened at the Calamvale Central - y'all should try it out!

Being an indecisive person, it took me a long time to figure what I felt like for dinner. Since Sai Gon was near where I live, thought it was a good idea to revisit the eatery :)Ā
Beef Pho is my go-to on their menu. The portion sizes are good and the flavours are tasty. The food always comes out quick and hot. Staff are attentive and friendly!Ā
Perhaps on my next visit, I should venture out of the 'Pho' section and try their Vermicelli or Rice Paper Rolls instead :)
Yeolcool
I always go here for their beef pho. Delicious as always. Staff are fast and very helpful. There is also a water/tea station in the corner of the restaurant which you can help to yourself. Can be busy at times but the food is worth it.
Karmen Chak
Pretty nice place for Pho noodles! Portions sizes are quite big! I enjot their freshly grinded sugar cane juices!! :) Surley you'll enjoy a meal from here. The atmosphere is more of a small and cosy dine-in, but the good food speaks for itself.
Traci
Have been going here for years and travel from Northside just to have the Pho. Always fresh, well balanced and flavoursome. Can never fault the food and take friends here who continue to frequent Pho Sai Gon.
Arbs
This is your typical Vietnamese restaurant and serves a good range of the traditional cuisine. Very well priced for the money and is something different for a change in Sunnybank Hills.
Beers4me
Still one of my favourite Vietnamese joints for good pho, bun and springrolls. Good value meals and service is always responsive and friendly.
Madam Oriental Eating.
I've had pho, spicy beef noodle (bun bo hue) soup, com that cam the rice paper rolls practically half the things on the menu and it's not that great. The pho every time is overly sweet and salty. The bun bo hue was salty and not spicy. The serving size is smaller than what I am use to compared to other viet resturants at sunnybank.
The reason I've been back here over and over again is because it's the closest one for me and I cbb driving to sunnybank and look for parking in the ridiculous car park.
I wouldn't recommend this place to friends or family it's a disappointment. Again this is my review. Others may beg to differ.

I can't be sure if the Pho I had was from the bottom of the broth or if it was just an off day for the chef but I can't say I was very impressed at all. The broth was way too salty and it seemed like they'd tried to fix it with adding too much sugar; it wasn't subtle or clean and the balance tasted off.

Given the ratings on this place, I am thinking it was just an off-day for them or they'd had a run on Pho and I had the bottom of the pot.

the best spring rolls around, not too dry a tiny bit moist juicie and crunchie.all the dishes are of a generous serving.service always quick. The meals are delicious and filling.Prices are extremely fair. You want to try authentic vietnamese for theĀ first time go here.Good tasting honest food that warms the soul.
Dave David
these guys make the best bun bo hue, The big fella is also more than happy to swap the dish around as i ask because i prefer the flat rice noodle instead of the round noodle and chicken instead of beef. (Grilled Chicken on the side)

If you ever want to try great Vietnamese food then you have to give this place a go
Kirra
I went here for a quick lunch through a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. I had the classic beef pho and it was delicious but even ordering the small ($10) there was no way I could finish it.

The service was quick and friendly and the time from ordering to getting our food was at the most three minutes! I can't wait to go again and try more of the menu.
MsK
The decor is simple with indoor and outdoor seating available. Service is quick. Decent range of Vietnamese food, soups can sometimes be a little too salty though. The Cubed dice beef with rice is delicious as is the broken rice with egg, shredded pork and pork chop.
Puffball
My favourite Pho restaurant in southside. The pho & spicy beef noodle soup are delicious. Prices are reasonable & if you dine late its even cheaper.
Clintku
Good Value. Tasty food. Looks a little dodgy and but it's really tasty food for the price. Service is average, they served peanuts in a dish without any notice. Could be a potential lawsuit there.
Bianca.alicewilliams
Love this place. Truly amazing food.

Love the Food So Good. Fast Service. I Ordered Pick Up and It Was Ready in 10mins. Combination broken rice if you like variety, spring rolls are delicious, crispy chicken soup is deliciously filling nice clean broth.
Grilled Mackrell
Crispy Chicken Rice. Perfect crispness that I never get tired of ordering again and again
Jaso_lu
Food quality has dropped.

the pho is not as flavoursome as it used to be quite bland to be exact

pork chops with rice - the porkchops have no flavour (bland)
Kim
Excellent cheap food. Great pho and friendly staff. Have found my new Favourite Vietnamese restaurant
Tnh84
Authentic Flavouring. Dingy looking place but Authentic pho and bun bo hue broth. Fast and cheap too

Regular Customer Here. I absolutely LOVE the Grilled Chicken Dry Noodles. The serving sizes are extremely generous and the taste is superb, every time. The service is also quite fast. You really get your money's worth here.

The atmosphere is average, but then again, this is one of the places you'd go for kick-ass food, so it really doesn't matter.
Claire B
What a great find. The food was spot on with flavour and the service was very friendly.
Food Critic
Disappointing. Great potential due to location. Reasonably priced meals... But... My rice vermecelli noodles with spring rolls & grilled pork was literally filled with noodles... Mr B's Combination rice dish... Small serving, tiny & thin piece of pork chop & egg cake. FYI, no split bills as well.
MaryBunny
Fast and yummy. We have been here a few times now and it is always yummy. Crispy skin chicken is divine. Fresh rice paper rolls are yummy.

Happy staff and very quick service.

We go out of our way to eat here when we drive to Brisbane.

Pretty average

Did someone said authentic Pho?. No!
Pho at this place taste slightly better than Pho Hien Vuong, but It's not the best in Brisbane, and I would only give it 5/10.
For the people whom doesn't know what authentic Pho is, whom has never tried Pho in Melbourne or Sydney, whom doesn't know how to cook Pho, Ok - you can try and maybe like it. Otherwise, It's not that Good!
I would feel embarrass to recommend this Place or Pho Hien Vuong as someone else recommended.
So far, in Brisbane, Quan Thanh restaurant in Westend would cook better Pho than any of these so call Pho restaurant out there. (not the best that I've tried yet, but the best Pho in Australia was in Melbourne).
Mr.X
Pho Sai Gon is small and doesnt look really special. But the food there is delicious. I had the Lemongrass chicken (think its number 24) and to be honest: this is one of my favourite dishes compared to all the other food and restaurants around calamvale. The portions are really big and the taste is authentic. And for 10 dollar it is a really cheap meal. I can just recommend it.
The Invisible Food Critic
This place has no MSG and always dont feel that "thirst" after eating there. Small little run-down feel to the place, but good pho. I rate it 6/10
Allison Chang
Will be back. Great pho, quick service, good value for money
Daniel Smith
Had a great lunch here yesterday. The pho is the best I have had in Brisbane. Service was also great and friendly.
Stan
Simply the best viet food in brisbane! Bypass market square this place is amazing. Awesome lemongrass chilli chicken and spicy beef pho. The service is always exceptional super fast and no fuss. Cant be bothered with anywhere in market square this is our regular now.
Owen
Great Pho! I go often with friends, always quick service!
Samantha Carey
Average. After reading all the great reviews on the Pho, we tried this place for lunch yesterday. I have to say it was all very average. The spring rolls were so oily we didn't finish them. My friend's noodle soup with pork chop was tasty but the soup broth was very salty. My chicken pho was full of chicken gristle and the broth just made me so so thirsty. I wouldn't come back when I could go another couple of minutes up the road and get the amazing pho and authentic atmosphere at Pho Hien Vuong. Having said that, the servings are huge, so it is good value for a $10 meal.
Tam Nguyen
Just average. The food here is ok. They taste right, almost the same as what you'll get if you are in Vietnam. But they don't give you much meat. I went there last time and ordered "bun bo Hue" (spicy beef noodle), my friends had Pho and all of our bowls were huge, but just filled with mostly soup and lots of noodle. There were only a few slices of meat in there. I think we got more at places like Pho Hung (Sunnybank) or Tan Thanh (Inala) and at cheaper price too.

Their combination broken rice is quite good. I'd recommend that
Mudcake
Fast, friendly & PHObulous. What I like about this place:
- Great, tasty pho and bun
- Everything on the menu is 10 buckeroonies and comes out in massive bowls
- Service: quick and efficient from the friendly operators
Paninaro
Wonderful Pho. Just to shit-stir I have a friend who pronounces this wonderful soup "poo", however the example made at this establishment is anything but. The soup has great body, clarity and flavour and they aren't mean with the condiments. Just about the perfect lunch especially when washed down with an iced milk coffee, sitting outside in the shade with a gentle Easter breeze wafting past every so often ... why are you people located so far from the city ?!?! **shakes fist at God**

Equal best!. I am a huuuuggee pho fan... pho-natic? My favourite has always been Hien Vuong at Sunnybank Market Square, I am often reluctant to try different pho places because I know I will be disappointed - and I usually am. Eventually my partner convinced me to try this place based solely on the excellent Urbanspoon rating... I trust Urbanspoon, so we did!
Wow! I was not disappointed, it was equal if very slightly better than Hien Vuong, which is the biggest props I can give any pho place. The broth is what makes a good pho for me and the broth here is spectacular, I would find it indistinguishable from Hien Vuong but the beef (I get rare beef) was in slightly nicer pieces than the beef at Hien Vuong. We also tried the spring rolls, these were very good, quite oily but yummy. I definitely recommend this place, the service was probably a bit nicer than at Hien Vuong but I don't expect service from Vietnamese restaurants, just delicious soup and bottomless tea.

Closest you'll get to Vietnam. My mum (who is vietnamese, AND visits vietnam on an annual basis) loves this place. The pho is solid and the closest you will get in Brisbane to pho in Vietnam guarenteed. It's quick and cheap and the owner is friendly. Rumours are true, he came from a restuarant in Darra (our old favourite place - we followed him all the way to Sunnybank Hills). His dad used to own pho restuarants back in the day. This pho is legit!
Pig
NO REGRETS!. Want viet but dont want to go to the darra or inala hood! Here is it. Affordable! Tasty! Simple! Fast! Clean!

Rumours are that the boss has made a move from Inala to S/B hills. No doubt that this place is here to stay. From the time they open.. they have expanded adding more seats to the dining area to cater for the popular demand.

Everything is pretty much round figures at 10 bucks or you can order some sides for 6.

My usual order is the spicy pho and some extra fried chicken. Rather delicious and filling for a young lady but may need more for a bloke with an appetite. Staff is friendly and tends to your needs.

A must try if your in the area!
Silver
Authentic Vietnamese. I have tried many Vietnamese restaurants in Brisbane (Inala, Darra, West End) and this one is the most authentic. You are not going to get any better Pho soup elsewhere!
Elle
Garlic Pepper Steak Rice. Best garlic pepper steak I've never had.
Riini
Special Beef Noodles...

Aside from being disappointed by the long waiting time, it was a fairly positive experience. I'd like to go back to Pho Sai Gon to try their other food.
