Review Phuc Deli-viet - Brisbane

Nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor tables. Food is standard with Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Went for dinner and they had run out of Bahn Mi early in the morning so get in early if you want one. Their mocktail is very nice. Pricey. Order at the counter, no table service.

Located at the west end, a very good Vietnamese Restaurant. Sitting by the window in the afternoon is a kind of enjoyment. We ordered Hainanese chicken. Normally, Hainanese chicken is Malaysian cuisine, and the Vietnamese-style Hainanese chicken sauce has a sweet and sour flavor. Quite special. I forgot the name of the other dish. The soup is sweet. But I love it. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Both the Pad Thai and Green Curry are absolutely delicious! One of the best Thai Restaurant in West End.

Kind of disappointed at not only the service but also the food. When we went to order the workers completely ignored us and had and backs turned talking to each other for 5 minutes even tho they clearly saw we were waiting. Ordered 2 dishes. One was never ordered and when I questioned why mine hadn’t come with our other dish and he just showed me the receipt and said I hadn’t ordered it when I clearly did. He apologised and said he would get the chef to make it quickly. It came out 20 minutes later. I had paid $25 for a pad Thai dish with 1 prawn on top. Also asked for table water with our drinks and that never came out. We asked again and then we’re shown where to collect it our selves. The menu was very small and lacked variety for vegetarian options as well. For the price and service will not be dining here again.

Had the Hainanese Chicken Rice. Good quick lunch.

Average. Padthai and dumplin is very good. Bought a rice noodle for 25$ and it only had noodles though menu says it has beef and other ingredients on it and very disappointed, that's why mainly 3 stars. Vibe and atmosphere is good. Polite friendly staff, but never received water. Potion is one for an average person.

I work around the corner and I’ve often visit phuc deli for lunch. I’ve tried almost every single dish that is on the menu. Have to admit some of the best dishes I’ve had. Fulfilling, fresh, and tasty. To top it off, the sate chilli and lime chilli is absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend others to give it a try!

I chose the Chicken Laksa with calamari and dumpling side dishes. It was more expensive than what I normally spend and the quantity and quality was less than at most other venues I have visited. The Laksa was just missing a strong presence and flavour. Not worth a second visit for me.

Quite a nice place. Dined here twice already.. the pork salad was really delicious. The only complaint I might have is that the salad is quite pricy.. however, the portion isn’t too bad at all.

This place is great! Saw the bad reviews and was worried. But it was too late and I was already seated...The service was fast and friendly and the food was bang on! The Pad Thai now holds the crown as the best I’ve ever had and the steamed dumplings were the best. Give these lads a chance.

I had to wait till the rain passed. So it was either this or the Pig. When I looked at the menu, Pho is priced at $20 to $25. Which is ridiculously expensive. Considering The Vietnamese serves it at nearly half the price.<br/><br/>My Bahn mi wasn't great either, the pork crackling chewy and vegetables roughly cut. The $7 ones from Kelvin Grove market blow it out of the water.<br/><br/>To top it off staff were disengaged and smiles came at a premium.

This place has got so much potential, it’s a shame the food isn’t good. Love the restaurant itself, the atmosphere and the food presentation. Unfortunately the food, though, isn’t really nice. Baos were really dry and flat. Chicken Pad Thai was really fishy. Would not recommend

They serve a range of mainly South-East Asian dishes. We had two different noodle dishes, both reasonably good. There is definitely flavour and we enjoyed our meals - it doesn’t quite have the finesse and same flavour balance as street food in Asia, but is a reasonable imitation. Ambiance is a bit quiet unfortunately.

overall: 2.5/5<br/>gluten free options: 2.5/5<br/>food taste: 3/5<br/>ambience: 4.5/5 <br/>customer service: 1.5/5<br/>pricing vs quality: 1/5<br/><br/>if i’m paying $20+ for a bowl of pho or laksa, it better be hella good. unfortunately i was left disappointed.<br/><br/>beef pho: soup tastes very similar to the one at roll’d. at least roll’d is cheaper. there was not enough soup to noodles ratio imo and when i asked if i could have more they said it would be a surcharge of $5.50. i was shocked and annoyed because y’all giving me this bowl with hardly any soup and you still calling it pho? noodles and slices of beef were the only good parts. the beef balls though — i hated the flavour of them bleh they tasted exactly like the frozen ones you get from supermarkets. all in all, it just tasted like a bowl of pho from roll’d but double the price of any standard pho from many vietnamese places. not worth. i wasn’t even full after bc i didn’t get to slurp on a lot of soup :((<br/><br/>laksa: marginally better than the pho but i found it to taste more oily than creamy. spiciness of the soup was on point though, as was the flavour. noodles were kinda a miss for me and i wish there had been more fresh elements to lift the dish. i think i would’ve loved this if it were dairy free and if it didn’t cost as much as it did. <br/><br/>their menu has a decent amt of gluten free options. their laksa isn’t dairy free though. customer service could be improved as we didn’t even get offered some water T_T <br/><br/>all in all, if you want to get ripped off then this is the place to go. you can get better food elsewhere for cheaper. i don’t think i’ll be trying them again

Overpriced food with ice cold service. Why would I pay $20 for a viet salad when I can walk down the road for a $7.50 special that isn’t owned by a chain. Dislike the severe prices, don’t mind the prawn and barra spring rolls- they’re worth their money but that’s it.

Was hungry and too lazy to cook, So I came to this near by place to have a quick bite. Been to their Indooroopilly outlet and have been happy with the food. I had a fresh sliced beef pho as usual and a 180ml kaganotsuki sake. It’s probably the most expensive Vietnamese pho in town but the quality has been always good. Today’s meal is average. I am a bit early and only one poor girl running around the floor. Now, this is not as a complain, however, for a pho nearly $20 and about the same for sake, here’s couple of things maybe they would like to consider.<br/>1. The pho is been sitting for a few mins for sure. The beef was very “nicely” cooked and the broth is not as hot to the best taste. But I guess running around by only one girl might make it rather difficult to serve well.<br/>2. Sake was nice, I really didn’t expect sake from a Vietnamese place but it turned out good. However, for the price, perhaps it might be better to use a nicer tokuri and chouko rather than the free “gift” from suppliers. ( having kaganotsuki but served in kizakura set). It’s not really a big deal but a matter of fine details to be better.

Hubby and I came here before heading to QPAC to see the bodyguard (plug - great musical!) The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered some of our all time faves - hainanese chicken and rice and wonton noodle soup and both were great! We also shared the veggie spring rolls which were amazing & come wrapped in an amazing rice paper lattice. Fresh fruit juices/mocktails, an all round yum experience. Will definitely be returning.

This little gem of a restaurant/cafe ended up becoming our go-to cafe during our five-day stay in Brisbane. We tried a couple of other places but they didn't compare. The food was fresh, delicious and authentic and the service was prompt and attentive. Excellent value for the quality and cost of meals. Will certainly go back to it on our next visit!

Excellent food! 4 adults, 3 kids. We had the steamed ginger chicken gyoza, vegetarian spring rolls, fried wontons and sugar cane prawns for entree and they were all delicious. The filling of the wontons was extra tasty and the steamed gyoza were a treat. For mains we had the rice w porkchop/pork meatloaf/egg: generous serving and delicious with fish sauce. Others had rice BBQ pork paper rolls and the lemongrass and blue ginger curry which was also delicious!<br/>Noted that on Sundays they don't have banh mi available. Food was very quick and service was friendly. More expensive though then Vietnamese food down the road in west end.

If the rest of the items on the menu are as good as the fish curry then this will become a favorite haunt of mine. The curry is just the right heat and well proportioned. The service is fast, friendly, but not intrusive. Lovely ambiance and a good selection of beer on tap round out the experience. <br/><br/>They stopped making the fish curry. Too bad.

Yummy and fresh... nice service and a good selection on the menu. Not the best wonton soup we've ever had but the sugarcane prawns on the salad were amazing!
