Review Three Little Pigs Tavern - Brisbane

Excellent service, food is delicious cannot fault, I have started to come here weekly and pet friendly (outdoors of coarse) Manage here is always so happy and staff are extremely friendly. Will keep coming back.

Attended this place today! Absolutely hands amazing! Quick service, Meals weโ€™re fantastic, better then I expected. Could not complain waiting 13 minutes for the meal because it was well and truely worth it! The head chef Andy was fantastic, manager was outstanding, all staff went above and beyond! Would recommend to anyone 1000 times over! Thanks Stafford City

Food is always yummy. The service is always amazing! Especially from Jo and I think her name is Jayla. It's so nice to see the way they treat every customer, they always go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy.

Consistently good meals and service. The meals sizes are perfect and the selection, price and variety for a Tavern is great. Love how they give you the option to buy a small or large size for a lot of dishes and they have a special on every night of the week. Plenty of seating inside or out. Definitely worth checking out. I would have just preferred real and fresh guacamole however, otherwise our meals were very tasty.

Eclectic decor and quirky soundtrack - looks like a traditional pub and has a heavily tattooed cashier at the bottle shop entrance but very friendly and they were playing Taylor Swift and Disney songs. 3 of us went and we all ordered small parmigianas. I had the gluten free sweet avo while friends had the German and British parmis. Gluten free simply means no crumb and the guacamole was quite skimpy so I was a bit disappointed but on the whole it was still solid pub food. The German and British ones were very substantial though the bacon in the British one was apparently a bit burnt and the vegetable side just looked like it was reheated frozen veggies. However, chips were very nice and crispy and mashed potato was good. If around that area again, would go back and try something else. Keep up the good work!

Everytime we've been here the food has been really tasty, staff friendly. Inside and outside eating areas, clean and tidy.

Always a pleasure. My family and I usually pop in for dinner and a drink before going to the movies ๐ŸŽฌ

This was a great place to eat and drink.

I realise that only the knockers bother to rate this place - well I am going to do the opposite and give this a GOOD review. We went there yesterday 18 Jul 2019 because it was in Entertainment book. Been there before but when I looked at mac meals were $15 - why bother using the book and getting a discount!
I had a huge German Snitzel and my wife had a steak for $11.90 - it make me wonder how other pubs and restaurants charge double for the same thing!
My meal cam late so waitress offered to give me a free wine/beer - I thought that was really good.
Great meals - good clean atmosphere - cheapest place in town!
Guac&Roll
Fairly basic menu at this pub/grill style venue at Stafford City. Convenient for a pre or post movie meal. We had the Barramundi and a Vermicelli noodle salad. Both were good but not super flavoursome. Did get Calamari added to the salad also and was disappointed about the amount received for price

Quite impressed by this little joint. Has good google reviews but Zomato reviews are quite ou dated.
We came tonight, a Saturday, and the place was half full. We ordered the Large New Zealand Fisherman Parmigiana with Mash and Veggies. I really enjoyed it. The mash was creamy and buttery. veggies good despite looking like they were from a frozen packet. Parmy and prawns were lovely (came with 3 prawns so not sure what a Small comes with). Also ordered barramundi spring rolls which were okay. Light on with the barramundi but still had flavours and a little oily. Also had the Parmesan crusted chicken wings which were half price ($6.50!) for a serving of 10. Both the spring rolls and chicken wings came with a side garden salad which we appreciated.
The meals were ready in 10 minutes and came out hot. We were too keen to eat so forgot photos but we ate it all. It came to $35.50 which is a great price for a good feed.
This place deserves a bit more credit on Zomato. Give it a shot before going for cheap movies ($12) at Hoyt's.

We waited 45mins for meals to come and when it finally arrived we were disappointed. I had steak, mash and veggies. Everything cold! Frozen veggies still have frozen. Had packet mash and the steak was way overcooked (i ordered medium rare).
Mum ordered barramundi and chips. Chips cold and fish was lacking taste.
Father enjoyed the bangers n mash.

The beer is flat and the food is cold. Meals are too pricey for what you get. Staff are stressed as they are obviously under staffed. Such a let down.

Quite simply the worst steak sandwich I have ever had. Steak was the texture and taste of severely burnt leather. Staff were apologetic but no offer of refund.

Very poor service....staff were slow & openly hostile. Menu was uninspiring and bland, prices were inflated given the fare, the staff & the less than appealing location overlooking the bucolic scenery of a suburban shopping centre car park. Facilities were unclean.

Don't let the location put you off. This is a good tavern for a chicken schnitzel or parmy with a great atmosphere for somewhere that is attached to a shopping centre. Have come with baby and puppy (outside seating) no problems.

Went here for 'date night', before the movies. Meals were tasty and came out quite quick (they weren't that busy, with about 4-6 other groups there). I had the reef and beef (great portion of food and was delicious) My wife had the chicken burger, which was a very generous size and also tasty
Staff were friendly and seemed genuine
Gastrobitch
Sorry Three Little Pigs, I know you try, but gastro pub you ain't. It's like you spent all your money rejuvenating your premises to look like a boutique tavern but had nothing left to pay your chefs. The food was actually better when your place was uncool with the dated decor eschewed by hipsters. Let's start with the menu, did a 5 year old to design it?? About 20 different types of chicken schnitzel/parmigiana with basic pizza-like toppings dominated the menu to the detriment of other choices. Now, the buffalo wings - while the sauce had a reasonably good flavour, whole unseparated wings are NOT appealing. They are unwieldy and nobody wants an anatomy lesson in the entire chicken wing while trying to eat them. As a main, I ordered the beef stroganoff due to lack of better menu options but it was a better option to go hungry as the beef stroganoff had a gelatinous texture, was chewy, barely warm and didn't even taste like stroganoff (not actually sure what it tasted like). I tried the chicken schnitzel burger but it wasn't much better. Yes, the chicken breast was okay quality but there was some unidentifiable condiment in the burger that tasted like Windex. But it's not all bad, the staff were very courteous, they now have a semi-decent selection of craft beers at the bar and more attractive decor. Just don't order any food there.

Pub like food but a very contemporary feel to the restaurant. My partner ordered the pie and it was OK nothing brilliant. I got lucky and ordered the parma which was much better.

Newly renovated restaurant - now has a vintage looking bottle store inside the restaurant!

I always have loved their 2 for 1 Tuesday and have been religiously coming here since years ago (well before when it was called BeachHouse).

Ever since the change of ownership, there has been a massive improvement on the quality of the food. Their parmigiana is now fresh - not frozen! ๐Ÿ˜ The 350g sirloin steak is never fails; I've never experience it being chewy at al!

Customer service is always a massive 5!

Disappointed & Will Not Return. My partner and I went for lunch at three little pigs on Sunday at 1:30pm prior to a movie session. After ordering the lunch took approximately 40 to 45 minutes, with only a half full. I went up to enquire about our order after approx 35mins and was advised it was being plated up at that time....approx. 10mins further went by and we finally got our meals....which we then had to scoff down prior to our movie.
The meal itself was disappointing, my partner had a steak sandwich which was cold, had raw onions and very little salad and I had bangers and mash which was ok despite it appearing to have instant mash potato.
Will not be rushing back to the Three Little Pigs anytime soon....it was our first and more than likely last time! McDonalds would of been a better option

Disappointed. My partner and I went for lunch before a movie and although the restaurant was only half full at best, the lunch we ordered took 40-45mins to arrive. I was disappointed to receive a cold steak sandwhich with very little salad and raw onion after such a long wait for food. On the brighter side, my partners bangers and mash was good (even though it was served with instant mashed potato). Definitely won't be going there anytime again soon.

Great Experience. We had the ribs and a parma before seeing a movie. Both were generous servings and were delicious. They had great service and it did not take long for out orders to come out. Will certainly be going back.

Terrible. The food is absolutely terrible. You are better off eating at home. Had a steak sandwich with dry bread, off chutney, a slice of tomato the size of a car tyre and a piece of lettuce. The steak was tiny, tough and smelt funky. Chips tasted of fish. Total gross.

I used to go their all the time the menu is dreadful the food has deregulated it's so dreadfully slow. Terrible now steaks are tough

Slow and lost order. Might have been good but will never know.

Slow cooked meals.. Went there for tea at 7.10 pm. We ordered 2 meals one the Barramundi the other a seafood basket. Meals arrived 58 mins later. Only at best 1/3 full. Extremely disappointing. May have changed names but kitchen service still agonisingly slow. Never going back again.

Me and Puncher Dropped in for a beer and a meal and to catch up with Legend. We had the Ribs of the Day which were excellent and the staff and service were top shelf......thanks Legend

Don't bother if you're in a hurry. We dined at this newly named restaurant within Stafford Shopping Centre Friday 9 January, as a preliminary meal before going to the movies. The place was way understaffed compared to when it was under a previous name (only 2 months ago), and I had eaten there many times. The service was so slow that people were leaving meals as they had to get to their movie. I was actually offered someone else's entree as the staff said "they left", and we had been waiting 55 minutes for our food. The food was very good when it came, but we had about 3 minutes to eat it before we had to leave for our movie. The main waitress was fantastic and I felt very sorry for her, but she was very gracious and didn't get angry with anyone.

The other disappointing factors compared to previously is that the menu has been drastically reduced, and all the tables inside are large bench type tables, there are no small tables for couples or groups of say 4 people. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and we won't be going back.

Good experience. Went for cocktails before seeing a movie. The waitress was lovely, and the outdoor area was quiet, with a few more private tables around the side

Amazing vibe and great service. Went here for a steak after my movie and was not disappointed! The food was great and very reasonably priced, staff were friendly and efficient. All in all a great addition to the stafford area. I will definitely be coming back!

Staff were rude teenagers with attitudes and didn't care about anything, waited 55 minutes for meal which went into our movie time. Got the pie, had raw egg white in the middle and about 3 pieces of fatty meat covered in half a centimetre of gravy at the bottom of a 9cm high dish. Probably about 13 people in the restaurant at this time so it was not busy. Terrible terrible place. Will never go here again

A nice addition and much needed in Stafford area.. Nice big tables to catch up and enjoy a feed and craft beer with friends.

Great Service!. Went to Three Little Pigs last night for 2-4-1 and had a great night!! Love the big timber tables and the mix match chairs. The service was amazing and food to match. I got the Chicken Maryland and my friend got the Rib Fillet. They were both cooked perfectly. We are excited to go back.
Mum's The Word
Ribs were amazing. The beef ribs were amazing! Such a great serving size. Food didn't take long to come out. Lovely restaurant to take my family to in the suburbs that isn't a generic place to eat.

Kids meal "homemade" chicken nuggets. They were not homemade. They were clearly out of a freezer box where the percentage of chicken is certainly not 100%.
Pulled pork slider. There was nothing pulled about the pork. The consistency of pulled pork is shredded (to an extent), this was just a slice of pork, so where a pulled pork slider would have meat with a sticky reduced sauce clinging to it, this was just a dry slice of pork with some coleslaw on it.
Buffalo Wings - perhaps the menu should mention that they are not traditional buffalo wings in that they really didn't have any heat (they tasted like the stock standard buffalo wings that you can buy from the deli at the local supermarket).
A letterbox drop advert for Stafford City Shopping Centre made mention that this establishment served craft beers - James Squire was the closest to being 'craft'.
Overall it was disappointing.
