As I was unable to get coffee from my regular spot, thought I would give this cafe a go. What a mistake that was, I ordered a large latte only to receive an iced coffee. When I challenged the staff about my order being incorrect another person behind the counter (who I understand to be either the manager or owner) then proceeded to, in front of other patrons advise that he explicitly heard me order an iced coffee. I was in complete disbelief of the tone and behaviour of this person, I am sorry if your team are unable to take an accurate coffee order however that is not my fault. This is not an isolated incident of this either (check out screen shot of previous review) In addition to the mouthful of attitude the coffee was subpar and the cup leaked excessively. Given the amount of coffee shops in the Brisbane CBD I would definitely strike this one off the list. There are plenty of other coffee spots more deserving of your cash. I will be telling all of my friends and colleagues to give this place a miss.

Customer service is above & beyond. Macadamia milk latte so smooth! Great deals on coffee & treat. Love the GF options. This is my favourite cafe to go to when I the city & the staff never disappoint. My only suggestion is to offer those fabulous beans to be sold to take home in small pre-ground packs? I’d love to bring Tobys Estate home for a cuppa. But this would be a bonus! Nice to feel welcomed like a friend. 😁

The best coffee in Brisbane city. My visit to Pando cafe from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. Evan was very polite and friendly.

Favourite coffee spot in the city! Exceptional coffee always made swiftly by the best baristas which makes for the best start to my day!

Another Hey You app purchase. Ordered a double shot extra hot cappuccino . Service was quick and friendly but unfortunately my coffee was rushed and it tasted rushed. Not extra hot and very milky. I paid extra for double shot too which l couldn't taste. Kinda felt ripped off since l paid $5.50 for my coffee. Not happy ☹

Coffee is grate. Smooth and creamy. Never go wrong with Toby's estate coffee. They had a cold brew coffee as well which I didn't try this time.

Very comfortable place, many cheap options for meals. I had the Salt and Pepper Squid it was delicious and great value. The coffee is very nice to, I didn't need to add any sugar it tasted great as@ is.

I think its the best Cafe i eat in Brisbane.Really smooth coffee with nice flavours, very very ...delicious food, large selection on the menu, reasonable price.

The coffee gets a pass mark, although it is often suspiciously sweet. But their idea of a breakfast wrap is borderline offensive. A sloppy arrangement. Killed by moisture. This item did not last one bite before collapsing. Never again.

Beyond disappointed! I ordered a veggie wrap, took one bite and threw it out. The wrap itself was very eggy and soggy. The contents of the wrap clashed and it did not taste nice at all. For $4 I also ordered a side of sweet potato chips which was a very minimal serving, had no flavour and was cold. In addition to that, the aioli that comes with the chips tasted like plastic/chemicals.

Lovely menu, great location!

This cafe is on Adelaide St almost directly across the road from ANZAC Square and next door to Chemist Warehouse - excellent location.

One of the first things I noticed as we walked in, is that they are big on providing gluten free and vegetarian options. Now I know a lot of places offer these options but more often than that, there aren't many options on the menu. Staff were friendly and our drinks came to us within a few minutes of ordering and our food arrived at our table about 10 minutes later.

I ordered the Sweet Potato and Sage Gnocchi with Grilled Chicken and my friend ordered the Spicy Southern Fried Chicken and Slaw. I wasn't too impressed with my gnocchi - the texture was not pleasant. It was gelatinous and seemed to 'bounce' off my teeth (for lack of a better word). The kale pesto was subtle but nice, tomatoes blistered nicely and the pinenuts provided much needed texture to the dish. The red onion was roasted nicely but it seemed that the spinach and peas were cooked down with the onions? I would have preferred that the spinach be served fresh just to add some freshness but it tasted lovely. It was just the gnocchi itself that was a tad disappointing. My friend enjoyed her meal - I could smell the spices from her chicken over my own food. I tasted the chicken and it was cooked to perfect but the breading had clumped on one piece so when I bit into it, the flour coated the roof of my mouth slightly.

Overall, most of the elements of my meal were lovely, the service is quick, location is great and the price versus the quality and portion/quantity was very good. The menu is very enticing so I will definitely go back and try something different.

This is a great spot with a delicious sounding menu, right in the heart of the CBD. Service is friendly and fairly quick. My friend ordered the vege wrap with sweet potato chips which she really enjoyed. I had the sweet potato gnocchi with spinach, peas, cherry tomatoes and parmesan. It was ok. The gnocchi was a bit doughy and it said it came with kale but I didn't see any on my plate. It was also a very small portion for $18 which I was a bit disappointed about. Great coffee though.

Have to disagree with the previous reviewers about the coffee being great. Admit it was creamy, but that is as far as it goes. There was no strength in the very small cup I ordered & the coffee tasted a little sour. I have to tell it how it is, plus I was waiting what seemed like ages for my take away! In their favor all the food, especially the muffins & baked doughnuts looked delicious

I love the friendly service, I work in the building where Pando is located and they always remember me and it's nice to come down for a morning break with the smiling faces! Keep them up! Coffee, food and a special mention to the sweet potato fries and healthy treats- excellent! =)

Came here for breakfast this morning! Loved the fresh tasty ingredients. LOVE that it shows what is dairy free for all of the intolerant people out there. Tried the sweet potato Rostock too which was very yummy. I will most definitely be back. Just a pity they aren't open on the weekend! Isn't enough good breakfast options in the city on weekends.

Gluten free heaven, thank you so much. I enjoyed a lovely muffin with my coffee and I look forward to coming back for the expansive gluten free menu. Coffee was delicious and I love that Bonsoy is used.

Honestly disappointed.. I could not eat my meal. What looked like a delicious fritter with smoked salmon somehow managed to taste like a glue patty paired with some old fish that had been slapped on the plate for colour as no one could have expected someone to actually consume it!

I also ordered a takeaway salad for lunch (which I was regretting after tasting their attempt at breakfast). Lunchtime arrived and even with my low expectations, I was shocked that the salad had NO TASTE.. None!

The gluten free doughnuts are good. Anything else.. Save your money!
The Tasty Plate
Constantly great coffee, friendly, quick service and lots of healthy items on the breakfast and lunch menu. The also have a good range of treats, including gluten free muffins and do no donuts.

This cafe lured me in with their amazing looking donuts only to surprise me with delicious sweet potato chips (my favourite) and a yummy wrap and delicious simple coffee. The wraps were a bit soft but that was the only downside. Great service and reasonable prices!

30 Nov 15 walked from Les Mis QPAC to Pando Cafe looking for GF only to find it closed with rotting food left in the window. No post to say it would closed. Won't waste my time again.

If I could provide a lower rating I would. There was nothing that I enjoyed about my most recent visit to Pando Cafe in Brisbane. Perhaps it was the 20 minute wait for a burnt and tasteless coffee or the 25 minute wait for a warm and poorly blended protein shake that did not come with a straw or lid suited to a straw. Or maybe it was because I paid nearly $15 for the privilege of losing more than 20 minutes of my day to be rewarded with beverages that left me wondering if no beverage would have been preferable to that which I received.

Add to this the general rudeness of the staff and evident desire for them to be rid of the various patrons as well as the number of seated patrons who requested their 'have here' be converted to a takeaway and Pando Cafe has become the place for me to avoid.

The coffee here is always top shelf, unfortunately they have very poor management so you end up waiting longer than you should since your barista seems to have to not only make coffee, server tables run food and take orders.

This is my new before work coffee stop. Really good coffee. Never disappoints and are very quick and efficient in the morning rush.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love the little escape in the hectic city. Even I reckon I come here by myself I will still feel comfortable. See u soon, cause I haven't tried the sweets yet.

Mostly because it is funny .... I have to like this place due to a highly hilarious coincidence with the name of this place. Other than that, it's nothing special. The pancake wrap thing is a great idea, but hey, pancake with anything is a great idea ... pancake and bananas, pancake and bacon, pancake and cats with a tinge of molasses, pancake and pancake ... it is the bacon of vegetarianism. Which my religion considers unholy.

TOOOOO slow service;. One word.. Frustration..

If you don't have 2hrs to waste, this is not for you .... Went in at 12 noon on a weekday. Ordered from their standard menu and took 55mins to get meals out. They forgot to place part of our order and had to chase 4 times, after 3 different staff until we managed our food. The meals were a simple pasta and burger, plus drink which they thrusted in my hand after I told them we were still waiting. Service was appalling and management was rude, no apologies offered for the delays. The final waiter that brought out our meal asked u how long it took, but yet again, no apologies and he just walked off looking half dazed and shell shocked. The customer before me also pointed out that their pots of yoghurt muesli had fallen off the display cabinet and the guy manning the counter simply shrugged, pushed the contents back into the cup and said it happens all day long (YUCK!!!). For an above average priced menu, this cafe is definitely well below average. Sorry, won't be wasting my time or money here again!

Delicious goodness. I needed something light, healthy and gluten free for lunch after being unwell for a while. I ordered the chicken and quinoa salad (which was mixed with a coleslaw type salad). Although it was very expensive, I have to say it was delicious, light and exactly what I needed. Not over dressed/fancy - just simple, healthy goodness. They also did a great chai latte. Although I got takeaway, it looked like a nice cosy cafe with plenty of tables. I will definitely be returning.

Quality Cafe in Brisbane. I visited the Pando Cafe when in Brisbane last weekend.

I tried the gluten free, pumpkin pancakes which were delicious! Personally I would have loved more strawberries than the macadamias but thats just a personal preference..

My sister ordered toast with smashed avocado, feta and an egg on top however when her meal arrived it was just an egg and avocado on the plate. Once we explained she was actually after toast aswell, the staff were very prompt, apologetic and more than happy to fix up the mishap.
I tried the green smoothie which was delicious and refreshing!
My sister and mum both enjoyed the coffee served.

The cafe is modern and chic but also kid friendly (my sister had her baby and pram which was more than welcomed).
Definitely a nice place for breakfast or brunch. Check out the green vertical wall near the stairs; amazing!

(Ps. Photo isnt the best but still shows the good quality food!)

Improve listening skills. I asked for a smoothie at the counter today, and before the manager put through the payment into the system, he asked me if it is to have here or take away. Because I have a stutter I wasn't able to speak for a few seconds, so I said 'sorry, it's a speech impediment' to which he responded to speak very slowly to me and started to pick up a table number which he showed me and repeated 'to have here or take away'. So I pointed outside and said take away. Then he continued his carelessness and pointed to the eftpos machine when I presented my card for payment without saying a word to me, and then walked away. Speech impediment doesn't equal cannot speak English.

First Class. Top food. Gluten and vegan options. Exciting food in a great setting. I like sitting at window or footpath. Newspapers. Good coffee friendly efficient staff. Nothing better available in Briz.

Sensational food. I ordered the lamb backstrap salad. OMG it was so delicious. The combination of ingredients was next level. Definitely the best cafe food going around. Cant wait for more outlets to open

The food here is amazing! Caters for all types of food intolerance but is seriously tasty. They need to open up elsewhere! Sweet potato fries are super salty and delicious. I had the cool down smoothie which was different but good! And I had a salad of the day which had heaps of chicken in it and was full of flavour.
