A Salt And Battery - Brisbane - Photo album

Still one of the best seafood platters in Brisbane. So satisfying and not greasy at all. It's been years since I have been and the quality hasn't changed.
It was really delicious Fish and chips. We were a party of 8 and everyone loved their meal. The service was prompt and pleasant. The shop is is a daggy strip mall aimed at uni students. The shop is bright and clean but the surrounds are dull at best.
Best salt and pepper calamari we have had in Brisbane. Fish Tacos amazing. Surprisingly Uber eats got it here fast and food was still hot. Gorgeous pumpkin salad. Definitely will reorder soon.
They have managed to raise the level of simple fish and chips to something delicious. The beer battered fish wasn't greasy at all. The fish tacos was tasty especially once the lemon is squeezed. The prices are reasonable. Here are some photos.
Let’s start with the quality. Can’t fault it. The barramundi and chips were amazing and calamari was nice. But gees talk about value for money. The portions are tiny. The barramundi was basically 1.5 bites and you can count the number of chips. 19 dollars for barra and chips surely can at least incr
Nice fish and chips but pumkin salad was $7 and highly overpriced (and small ) and there was only three small slivers of pumkin in it. There are better fish and chip shops closer that I would recommend.
Very small portions, poor quality food. $5 worth of chips is barely enough for one (a small handful). Was there 5 mins earlier than pick up time, but order was cold and soggy - live 5 mins away… Chips not crispy or salted. Missing half the order. Phone ordering service was sub-par, spoke to two diff
Wow! Probably the best seafood I've had in Qld. Ordered the seafood basket for 1. Was a perfect portion and I ate everything (despite not liking scallops). Worth every cent. I'll be back all the time. Thank you
