Had a take away Mother’s Day lunch here. We were lucky to have the EatClub promo of 25% off bill.
Ordered the daily special of tempura with cold noodle, grilled cheese spicy prawn and a Ginga Delux Wagyu Bento. It took around ten minutes of
preparation time.
When we opened the pack, the response was “wow”. For a cost less than $50, it was just so spectacular.
Grilled prawns were large king prawns with shell. Importantly, they were done perfectly good. Noodles were silky and the tempura was crispy. Deluxe bento reflected its name of deluxe with Wagyu steak, sashimi, tempera, salad, rice and miso soup. I had the same bento at its sibling located in Carindale shopping centre, butter Wagyu was done extra-ordinary good at med-rare this time.
This lunch was was very impressive.😋😋😋
The grilled eel is a highlight!
So good! They had a banquet package that was really nice 👍 exellent fish at very reasonable prices and quick service - definitely check this out. We left full and happy 🙂
Came here with entertainment book, cause we are just in the area and wanting some Japanese food.
Happy to see the 2 persons meal deal for $65 with edamame, sushi plates, tempuras. the servings was generous for two, the serving time was quick, and most importantly i think the fish are fresh the tempura deep fried really good,,,,is the light and crispy ones that i like.
Came here for lunch today with my fishing pal. This restaurant has a looong sushi train and is quite popular during lunchtime. It can get quite “squeezy” so we decide to sit in a private booth. Service is friendly and attentive with an adequate number of wait staff attending to patrons arriving and leaving.
Our Sushi lunch arrives within 10 minutes and we dive into it! Unfortunately, we eat half our meal before I remember the photos. The sushi are prepared fresh but some servings are quite small. Overall, our lunch is enjoyable and rates 3-5-4/5.0. I am impressed with the service we experienced which rates an extra half star. The Manageress and her wait staff should be commended for their professionalism. Well done Ginga Sushi!
Nice tasting. Had prawn dumplings (they were stuck to the bottom of the serving dish but still taste good) Udon noodles soup, chicken karage currry. I was hoping for some extra spice maybe Japanese chilli flakes to add.
I've been here for lunch a lot lately, mostly as the air conditioning is so good.
Love the basil salmon, the smokey grill flavour is delicious. Always order the prawn wontons too, they are just great but better with a squeeze of lemon rather than the sweet chilli sauce they give.
There used to be buzzers to grab waiters attention, these are gone. The waiters are usually run off their feet but once you get their attention they help you out quickly.
Overall- it's well priced and good for a quick lunch/dinner
While I enjoyed my evening, there was really nothing that was 'special', apart from the very cool Japanese lemonade with a funky inbuilt glass marble design.
Pricing was pretty acceptable, I don't think it's overpriced, especially in the glitzy emporium precinct.
The decor was nice, perhaps slightly tired. The service was also pretty decent with a buzzer to summon the waiter.
Not very warm, but it was service with relative precision.
I think I might give this place another shot sometime, but certainly not rushing back
The basil Aburi salmon is addictive- service average & friendly, a bit overpriced but Ginga has some of my favourite dishes I can't find anywhere else so I go back for them over and over! 🍣👌🏻 The Valley location I find is the best quality.
Impressive Japanese themed 👏 restaurant from top to bottom. Excellent friendly helpful and service with a smile. Large array selection of authentic Japanese dishes as well as beverages. We had three Octopus 🐙 sashimi and examined for entree. The Octopus tentacle sashimi had that beautiful smoky flavour was tender and beautifully seasoned. It was a delight to eat. I've never eaten Octopus before. Then we had the salmon Bento box 🍱 and wagyu Bento box 🍱. Huge servings, great food presentation, fresh ingredients, full of flavours. Always a first robot driven that delivers your food to your table. Overall, I had an excellent dining experience at this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommended ✨️ ✨️✨️🎊🎊 Would definitely come back.
My very favourite Japanese restaurant that I will drive across Brisbane for. Very reasonably priced, large servings, quick service, fresh and delicious. Restaurant is very clean, and their recent renovations has made it more trendy with the darker colour scheme. My son loves the cat robot that brings the food to your table. I try and visit at least once a week - very highly recommended!
I love these guys, the food is amazing! Genuine Japanese food that tastes like you're in Japan, and very reasonably priced too. I eat here like 3 times a week, it has a permanent place in my life now. Very good lighting + excellent service by Conan everytime.
The food was delicious, prompt service and nice atmosphere. I tried the noodles smoked chicken soup and it was yum yum 🤤. Recommended.
Wonderful traditional Japanese cuisine accompanied by excellent service. All our meals were well presented, tasty and fresh. The quantity and price was excellent. There will be a next time and you should definitely try it too.
