Ordered a chicken tandoori and was given a chicken 65. When questioned why, the owner told me its the same marinate so don't worry. Chicken Biriyani was mushy like baby food without any flavor to it. Overall experience was disappointing, I found the owner not customer friendly, food wasn't up-to Indian standards and misleading menu. Not going back to this place ever !

Went here based on the good Google reviews and was not disappointed. The prawns for entree were very good and the butter chicken was nice and spicy and not too sweet. Staff were also very friendly and accommodating. I haven't tried any other Indian restaurants in Brisbane but I'd definitely recommend this place.

Jatt Flava is AMAZING. The food is consistently delicious, full of flavor & generous portions. The curries are never too oily or bitter & the ingredients always taste beautiful and fresh. The service is always wonderful. They offer free delivery to surrounding suburbs & after ordering some 30 odd times over the past few years, we have never once been disappointed or waited longer than 40 minutes, even during peak times. We have tried many of the Indian restaurants in Brisbane & nothing even comes close to Jatt Flava. This is by far our favourite restaurant of any cuisine in Brisbane!

We have lived opposite this place for 2 months and have been meaning to try it out this whole time. We finally did this evening and are so glad we did! We ordered Kadai Chicken, Paratha, Papadums and Rice to takeaway. The Kadai chicken was SO good and very moorish, we couldn't get enough! Overall, excellent service, big portions and delicious food!
Super Gojira
Arrived 2 hours after ordering. Prawn masala that was just minimal shrimps for $20. Smallest portion of chicken methi ever. Garlic cheese naan that had neither ingredient. Lukewarm on arrival obviously. Dreadful. I've eaten lots of Indian food. This was the worst ever.

This restaurant is my favorite find since moving to Brisbane, the staff are so friendly and the food is amazing always service with a smile. If you like hot spicy vindaloo this is a definitely the place to go. I'm addicted to the samosas.

After struggling to find a good curry house in Brisbane i decided to try Jatt Flava.
As the only people in the restaurant i was a little concerned but the food did not disappoint. A very tasty lamb rogan josh with a large sized peshwari naan along with very reasonable priced alcoholic beverages made this a perfect spot for a meal before heading a short walk down to the valley for a night out.

We took friends for dinner after enjoying a few meals here. Bantir looked after us and gave amazing service. He answered our questions regarding the food, offered advice and provided outstanding service all night. We ordered the meat banquet and the food was excellent. We all enjoyed the entrees, the servings were so generous we almost couldn't eat the main courses! The naan bread was the best we have tasted, even after a recent visit to India. When we asked if we could take the remaining food home, Bantir happily provided containers and bags. We would thoroughly recommend eating here. Ambience is a bit lacking as it was quiet but Bollywood videos are showing to provide some background music.

My regular Indian takeaway joint. Consistently good quality curries, breads and little bites. I order through Menulog and have had nothing but great and efficient service.

I have ordered delivery from this place approx 3 times, have ordered the same thing butter chicken, cheese naan bread and mixed entree each time.

Every time it has been consistently great, the service is always great delivery times are always within 10 mins.

Quaint..... is not what i would call Jatt Flava, but an amazing unknown curry house tucked away in Fortitude Valley is closer. The staff has less personality than the curries they serve but that's a good thing right?! Rich in flavour, great at not making the hot too hot that it burns you tongue on the first bite. Good sized meals and portions. I have never been let down here and I highly recommend coming here at least once. And if you want a dish recommendation I can't go past the Aloo Mater. A vegetarian dish but I'd nearly give up meat if i could eat that all the time. To quote Nike "Just do it!"

I had the pleasure of purchasing takeaway from what is now my favourite Indian restaurant.

I had the chicken Madras as well as rice and a Cheese Naan bread. All I can say is absolutey delicious all round and the service was exceptional and friendly.

The price was fantastic about $21 for a mouthwatering meal is totally worth the price.

Will be back again and again. Love it!

The food was not good and the curries were very fatty and salty. Wish I never tried this place not the food. If you're looking for a good curry then you've come to the wrong place

If Jatt Flava ever closes, I will never be able to eat Indian food again!. Jatt Flava has hands down the most reliably and consistently amazing Indian dishes! We have been dining and ordering delivery from Jatt Flava for maybe 4 or 5 years and the food is always incredible. The staff are lovely and the food is relatively inexpensive and worth every cent. Jatt Flava offer free delivery to surrounding inner city suburbs. We never wait very long for our food and when it arrives it is always piping hot and incredibly delicious. We love the food so much that we always order more than we can eat, and reheated the next day is every bit as good as fresh. I thoroughly recommend the Aloo Gobi, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta and Chana Masala. The ingredients are always fresh and generous, top quality and not too fatty. You are guaranteed to receive a beautiful meal when you order from Jatt Flava. I would have added a photo to this review but there's nothing left! Enjoy!

Had a delicious meal here of Tikka Masala, chicken madras and spinach and cheese naan. The food was beautiful, there is outside seating which was lovely on a summer night and the service was great. Will absolutely come again on our next trip to the valley

Excellent Indian, I love the curries here.

Worst Indian I've ever had. This place offers the worst Indian food ever made.

I've given it several chances.

From butter chicken to mango chicken to korma, they seem to have no idea what they're doing.

I have no idea how they're still in business.

Stay far away.

Not bad. There's plenty of Indian restaurants around the New Farm/Fortitude Valley area so we thought we would give this a shot. The staff are friendly and attentive which i liked - and the food did taste good, not great, just good. The naan bread was delicious but the korma we had wasn't as good as others I have tried at other restaurants - but this could be the use of coriander which I could clearly taste and which I dont really care for.

Not Great. Tried Jatt Flava for the first time tonight and we will not be running back any time soon. They gave us the wrong dish and it took some stern talking on my part over the phone to get them to offer us a free item next time. The meal that we did receive was not very impressive so if we'll actually make use of the free item in the future remains to be seen. The dishes were rather bland and while I'm grateful that they did offer to make it right next time, this has been my worst culinary experience in Brisbane thus far.

FISH CURRY WAS DEVINE. Booked for 6 people Thur night. Service on arrival was excellent and we were seated quickly. We took our own wine and they brought wine glasses and fresh pappadams immediately. The service was excellent, food was delicious and the portions generous. We liked the food so much, the following Wed night we invited friends and had take-away. I can especially recommend the gently poached fish curry which is the best I have had for a long time.
We have added Jatt Flava to our favourites

Nothing special. We went here on the public holiday after driving past and seeing it was open. Had the mixed starter which was nice. As for the main I asked if I could have a chicken rogan josh as rogan josh was listed under the lamb section. The waiter had to check with the chef to see if this was ok which seemed a bit odd to me. Sure,y if it was made fresh it is no trouble to make the curry but just add different meat to it? I was asked twice whilst eating my starter if I had finished - it seemed obvious to me that if I was still eating then no, I hadn't. Despite this when I had finished they took a while to being out the mains. In fairness the curry was lovely and I enjoyed it, garlic naan was much better than our usual curry place. The biggest let down was the chicken in both our curries wast not breast meat. Rice was normal. This place seemed to cater a lot for local Indian families who came here not to eat but to sit at he tables and chat whilst their kids played and ran around amongst the other customers who were trying to eat. This did put me off. Overall decent food but probably wouldn't bother again.

Rainy night indian take-away. Grabbed $90 worth of take-away & headed to friends for dinner last night. Samosa's are nice, but filling. Love the chicken chetinad, & butter chicken (who doesn't). The food is bursting with flavour, decent amount of meat & sauce. Great comfort food on a rainy night with a bottle of wine!

A Great Experience. As soon as you are seated, fresly cooked crispy Poppadums and cold water is delivered to your table. Not an awesome selection of wines or beers, but it is also BYO for wine, a big tick for me!
The Nan was Sensational, fluffy and flaky, Ghee flavours but not greasy. We had the chicken Kadai Medium Heat and the chicken Chetinad Hot. Heat levels were just on target. The flavours, curry leaves, masalas,..., delicious.
And the rice.....How many times have we had boring yellow dyed over cooked low quality rice in other restaurants....Here, the rice is extra long grain, not sticky nor mushy, but light, fluffy, with cumin seeds, ghee and tinged of saffron (although no saffron threads to be seen).
On top of that, awesome and very attentive service, even better than in a lot of "fine dining" restaurants. We WILL be back!

Great food, appalling service.. We have been here dozens of times and have always really enjoyed the food. However, on Saturday we took a party of 14, including three children. Being a large party and having kids with us, we booked for 7:15 and arrived at a near-empty restaurant. Despite there being just four other customers, it took over 45 minutes for entrees to leave the kitchen. By the time they came out, there were more covers - a couple of other large tables and a few pairs. We then waited while everyone else in the restaurant was served, including tables which turned over more than once - over two hours - before our main courses came out. This was only after going to the kitchen three times to ask where the food was. Each time we asked, we were told it was just coming out. It was only after telling them we would be leaving and they would not be paid for the entrees that they started on our order. When it came, the food was, as always, lovely. Sadly, the children were asleep and the grown ups were all too cold, tired and cranky to enjoy the meal.

We will only be ordering take away from now on...until we find another good curry house!

Rohan josh was delish!! The dinner for two special is exceptional value for money. Two mains , roti, rice, and papadums were plenty to feed both myself and my wife...

Great meal. Our table of seven really enjoyed a delicious and well priced meal at Jatt Flava last night. A selection of entrees suggested by the waiter followed by five mains with roti more than satisfied our appetites. The restaurant was busy serving mainly Indian diners until quite late with a fun, relaxed atmosphere. I'd certainly recommend it, particularly in a group to try a selection of dishes.

A good deal!. They have a really good offer. Menu for 2 at $51.80. It includes Samosas, Butter chicken, Lamb Korma, Naan, Kulfi, Gulab Jamun, Mango Lassi and Papadams. Love this meal. You need a voucher though! get it from www.citysnatch.info

Easily the worst lamb korma I have ever had. Completely tasteless. I am so dissatisfied. Never going back!!!

Food was Ok. Not the best Indian I have had but OK. It is a tough market with so many other choices. Worth a try.
