they got the order wrong, long wait for right order to come out, we ordered “soft boiled eggs Benedict” eggs weren’t soft boiled. If you’re after good food and service, onto the next one, This place is only good for instagram

Went for breakfast and had a great meal. The coffee was well made and the staff were very friendly. The seating both inside and outside was lovely and added to the experience. We shared a Pinapple Express board which had a variety of breakfast food across it. The small Acai bowls were especially good. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful, coz cafe with good food. Wonderfully presented and well priced. The staff were great, and very accommodating. Only downfall was the coffee, quite bitter and lingered a bit in the back of your mouth. Awesome healthy options though.

I was surprised by just how good the Fried chicken was, and the turmeric & lemon donuts lol. And the Chocolate sauce was fun to play with.
Lancia
A scrumptious breakfast and fantastic staff! A great recommendation and we will return!

DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Whilst we were waiting they had incorrectly made two orders and one lady had been waiting 25+mins for a cup of coffee. Then when our food arrived it wasn’t much different. Cold toast, cold bacon, cold halloumi, hard eggs and missing apart of our meal. The men who was on floor today was lovely but he was only one who seemed to care. I’m unsure how this place still has business, this is my second time and I will not be returning!
Parnoosh
Food was okay when it eventually came out correctly - specifically ordered 2 meals without bacon both came out with extra bacon and had the haloumi removed.. after they were sent back the additional hash browns we ordered were missing and haloumi again missing from the order.. veggies on the plate were over cooked and the poached eggs were closer to hard boiled eggs. Staff didn’t really seem to care that the order was incorrect and seemed like we were more a burden then welcomed.

Are you eating it or is it eating YOU?! 😱

There are two foods that I absolutely try to prioritise and include in my diet every day because they naturally tend to bring benefit to your gut and overall digestion. What are they? The P&P!

Pineapple and Papaya!

Pineapple is the only known source in nature of bromelain, an enzyme that helps the body to break down and digest protein! It also acts as a decongestant and reduces nasal inflammation 👃

Sooooo, I think it’s fair enough to say that pineapple helps you not only to be able to eat more food because when you eat pineapple it will eat you back and better digestion equals less volume of food aka needs to get more food in (good thinking mate, good thinking 😂) as well as you can smell food better! 👏😍 and I don’t see a better and appropriate option than to feast at Pineapple Express Cafe!

These guys have a few stores around Queensland and even outside Australia, in Dubai, and they sure are an amazing experience! We visited the original cafe store at the outer suburbs of the city, around 1h30 hour from the CBD and actually the walk is quite pleasant to walk as it is done by the river and even in a hot day (typical!) you get the breeze and win that are very refreshing. The also have a box cafe with a few less items from the original menu right in the CBD but we wanted to visit the main store and had time to visit so we went on that pineapple adventure quest!

The place is well indicated and has a huge outdoor seating area - impressive indeed! They also have different patterns and shapes of their pineapple logo from the ‘normal’ printed one to one it tiles. And once you come inside the store you are definitely not expecting the massive picture of what it looks like a cute little van car on the left wall. It certainly inspires good vibes and creates a positive mood! The right side has the counter and a few cakes and deli and the far end of the store leads to the kitchen where they prepare the amazing things you’re about to see and read! And even though we didn’t have anything with pineapple, there are cute pineapple props everywhere and obviously for the picture I felt that including it was appropriate 😂

We were kindly received by the staff and after a quick look at the new menu we asked what they recommended. Trust me you will want to try everything indeed from the breakfast to the lunch menu as everything here is guuuuutastic! And so that you don’t take too much time deciding, they have come up with share boards! (Plus they have different options depending on your dietary requirements!) 👏🙌

You can also find the items of the share board in bigger portion and ‘single’ meals if you don’t want to share because I know what you’re thinking - I don’t shaaaaare’. Same, same 🙋‍♀️🙃😂 well, you don’t have to because they have double the things! Such a genius idea! 👏 I had never seen such an interesting concept!

Of course that we opted for the vegan share board or only because of the allergen content of the ‘normal’ one but also because this one sounded VERY promising! And it sure was! The board comes with:

- 2 little Acai Breakfast Bowls - that in my personal opinion were indeed quite small. It’s obviously a mix of foods that you can find in here but even like that I would have preferred to have a little bit more sweet to the bow and less savoury, just purely because I am a sweet type of person! My friend actually thought the opposite as she is a more savoury person and she was happy with the sizes. Either way the acai taste was good although it melted quite fast and we both agreed that it would be good that the thickness and frozen acai should ideally stay longer without melting as it would have been more enjoyable to eat it towards more the end of the meal and not everything in the beginning. Hard to know what to solve this because once you take the acai out of the freezer it obviously stars melting, and while having some special isolation bowls to preserve the cold could work, the cost would be certainly significant. It was obviously still pretty good but the consistency was quite melting by the middle/end as we were trying to alternate sweet as savoury 😂 either way, it comes topped with fruits such as banana, apple, strawberries and blueberries of an amount appropriate for the size of the cup and with some granola ideally and naturally sweet, very much appreciated 👏

- Toasted Pumpkin Seed Sourdough - the bread itself was impressive and so massive in terms of height and size! The taste was definitely amazing with a subtle pumpkin sweetness and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I think that a cashew creme here would be terrific actually, just spread on the bread 👏

- Toppings: the amazing toast comes with some spinach, very nicely cooked, a massive portion of avocado, some flavoured pulled jackfruit that again came in great serving and some other greens such as broccolini, beautiful arranged and very much appreciated. There were also some cherry tomatoes slightly roasted on top of the broccoli that I really enjoyed and I think that personally I would like to see some mushrooms here too (because how good are grilled sautéed mushrooms!). There was also a crispy tofu slice that we thought that was the the least accomplished item as even tough it wasn’t greasy nor oily, it was just plain tofu and lack slightly in taste of course.

- Falafel: last but not least, it comes with three little falafels that are so cuuuuuute! Relatively small but the taste is just incredible! Again not oily or greasy and with a crumble that was perfectly achieved! I would definitely love to have a bit more of these and maybe a smaller toast just because I am also a huge falafel lover 👏

It is an amazing meal for you and we were satisfied. Price is very reasonable and I think the serving size with some drinks on the size is just right too! Like I said my only friendly suggestion would maybe to make the acai portion slightly bigger and to try to make it more frozen while being delivered to the costumer so that it comes not as liquid and melting 👏 either way, the team is also very friendly and will make you feel comfortable and willing to please you. Would definitely love to visit again!

Poor service that is also painfully slow. 1 waitress to wait over 12 tables. And today is a busy Sunday morning, prime time for breakfast and brunch!
Unfortunately, my experience here was beyond disappointing.. leaving me to want a refund for the experience, but oh well! We live, we learn and I won't be returning.
Apart from missing ingredients in my breakfast, which mind you, had no customisations, and the watered down coffees, the lack of atmosphere in this cafe was painful. This visit was not worth the drive, or worth the excitement.
Pretty pics just for the insta.

Its clear they are always under staffed and that the staff get flustered every time someone walks in. Only been here 3 times and the service has been pretty average every time. Its a shame cause their food is good but the vibe and staff are off putting. They also use campos coffee which is a specialty coffee roastery, and the coffee was less than average.
Good coffee , vegan nachos and atmosphere. We stayed over night around the area and woke up hungry. We don’t live around Brisbane so found this place on the bottom of our hotel. Fresh food , plenty of options , good juices and desserts too. Healthy and tasty.

Reviewing on a takeaway coffee with no judgement of food. The coffee itself was quite good but a 15min wait on a Sunday morning with only 3 tables occupied at the venue... Won’t be back
MH
We were told by the owner that when we ask for fresh avocado, we “must specify it to be sliced and not have anything added to it”; if you say “fresh avocado” expect to get smashed avocado - I’ve never heard of such rot; fresh avocado means, ‘FRESH avocado’, every day of the week. Ordered hard poached eggs, they came runny & with shell to add to the experience - they justified this by saying “it’s how they poach the eggs; they boil them first and then crack them into water to poach” - how you prepare your poached eggs is irrelevant; have some pride in the food you deliver and don’t be so aggressive and quick to justify such a ridiculous thing, like why there’s chunks of eggshell in the meal. The glasses had dirty lip marks all over them; perhaps a service of the dishwasher is in order - they gave us two lots of glasses and all were filthy. Ordered two large coffees; received two small - the owner took the order and couldn’t even look at us when receiving the order, it was no surprise when he couldn’t get our orders right - someone needs to remember who he is, what he does for work & how to respect other human beings. Save your time and money; there are plenty of amazing places to eat good food, who have some idea of what customer service is. Cafe 63 around the corner was lovely.

After the weak coffee @ the Colour Coffee House, I drove to the Portside Wharf and browsing around. It was early 7:30am so many of the shops have not opened yet. All of the sudden, I saw the Pineapple espresso has opened and the sign of Campos that tempted my craving for a good coffee so walked in immediately and ordered a flat white. However, it did not help at all because the flat white was not like the daily Campos that I have @ Sunny Café. it was far too weak and not creamy at all. This Pineapple Express is not like the one that I had at the James Street. Disappointed but the service is still attentive and friendly.

Ordered a takeaway coffee and a coffee in a glass - both to sit down. The takeaway took long enough as it was, and then three other people were served (both takeaway and sit down orders) that arrived after us before the glass coffee finally arrived. Tasted like dirty water and a bit of milk. Poured half a cup of cinnamon on top of each one and made it worse (yes, it was possible) than we could've imagined. Would never go back.

Excellent ☕️!

Ordered flat white with almond like which is fantastic! Better than lots of cafe store in Sydney!

Outside sittings and friendly staff, the nice to sit down and get some fresh air. Toast with bacon and mushroom is excellent, my colleague seems really enjoy it!
Me and my partner made the 30 minute trip out to Hamilton to try with little cafe, and the avocoado on toast was delicious, perfect portion size. Staff on the day weren’t super upbeat but that’s the only thing that I would say could make the experience better
Ellie
I had the Dippy Eggs which enjoyed thoroughly and would recommend them with sauteed mushrooms. Eggs were served in an egg carton which was cute.

My flat white was nice and strong. However a sugar sachet was not provided yet a spoon was, which defeated the purpose. Outside tables did not have any sweetners/sugar sachets.

The Turmeric & Lemon Protein Pancakes were a let down as I felt the chia seeds/coconut yoghurt didn't complement the pancakes due to its soggy texture.

In terms of service, it needs improvement.

1. Our table had a leftover plate from a previous customer which was promptly taken away however around that plate and other areas of the table, there were water marks from previous drinks. The staff simply wiped directly under the plate, leaving the other water marks so when we placed the (big) menus on the table, they got wet (as expected).

2. After the staff provided all our food, they didn't confirm with us if we were waiting on anything else, nor remove the table number. If they had, we would have realised that our pancakes were missing (which to be fair, was an error on my friends part who 'thought' he ordered it) and wouldn't have continuously waited for nothing. Pancakes were ordered after this realisation and came out promptly.

3. A staff member put my friends cutlery directly on the table. As we were seated outside and table not wiped, this was kind of gross. I understand it is very busy however more care should be taken. Thankfully my own cutlery was placed on top of a napkin by a different staff member.

If you ever go here - you HAVE to get the breakfast board. It's incredible value at around $30-40 and could easily feed 3 x girls or myself and a hungry boyfriend. They also have this fabulous coffee / frappe smoothie thing that was so yummy. Definitely a must do if you're on the north side

Favourite breakfast spot in Brisbane! Best coffee and food, so many options! Make sure you try the share board - you won’t be disappointed, it’s got everything you could possibly want. Awesome acai bowls too!
Jane

The poki bowl was nice, had fresh ingredients and good portions. I wasnt sure about the coffee in the cone but it thought i would give it a go and it was suprisingly really nice. Kinda tasted like a mocha and wafer biscuit all in one. The only thing that did let us down was one of our coffees was completley forgotton and when it did come it wasnt exactly what was requested. I would say the food is good and the shop has nice fresh feel. If you can get consistent great service and move the coffees amd food quicker this would be the place to be in the area.

Was very disappointed with Pineapple Express... Seen a number of great photos on their Instagram and was interested to try it out. Drinks came out and they were lovely. However the food on the other hand was not so great. The San Choy Bau was $17ish and all that was on the plate was a few pieces of lettuce and some chicken. Nothing exciting to the eye. Had slight flavour but nothing I couldn't make at home. My friend ordered nachos which had stale corn chips and loaded beans which had been slapped on and chucked in the microwave to melt the cheese. Overall, will not be going back unless they up their game.

Setting was a little bland... no music and limited styling, felt more like a fast food joint. No menus provided, rather we had to look up the menu on our phones before ordering at the counter. Staff were pretty average and lacked personality. Food was pretty good... the share board was a little stingy on bacon and only portioned 1 egg and half a peice of toast per person whereas the rest of the board was filled with lettuce, sweet potato and pulled pork for breakfast?
Dephialis
I looooved my pulled pork nachos, caramel slice and iced latte. 😋 I wasn't a fan of the raw burrito bowl but I'm going through the menu and still very pleased.

We were looking for a cafe for breakfast this morning and we decided to try out Pineapple Express with its fresh look and feels. Very disappointed with the glum service and every table were yet to be cleaned. We took the only one table with no eaten dishes on it and had to wipe up the stickyness and dropped food ourselves. Not very pleased. Food came out looking great though, service not so much...

Disappointing. Not up to scratch. Such a cute place with a great menu and such potential. To have ran out of bacon and avocado on a Sunday morning and then charge the same for the meal isn’t acceptable (just run across the road to the IGA and get more???). My friend asked for extra haloumi and was given pulled pork. The poached eggs were underdone with runny white and the vegan nachos were just okay, the mix wasn’t evenly heated, some of the filling was cold and the pulled jackfruit was just really average. The menu said it had crispy kale but all I got was a garnish of what I think was actually parsley. The cocowhips are fantastic, nicely presented but externally sourced so can’t really give the cafe credit. Nice coffee but just a bit of a shame considering the price.

Thy have Coffee in a cone & it tastes EPIC! Best Acai in Brisbane, I go everyday for my fix 😁
The service is great and they also have a app which I order from so it's ready when I arrive, it saves so much time!
🍴
Had the share plate with a friend. I was expecting to be eating bread/eggs/bacon with a side of carrot and pulled pork but it seemed to be the opposite. Pineapple Express obviously takes the cheap route and gave us big piles of pork and carrot but only half a slice of bread, one egg and one piece of bacon per person (2 people). Also got a small amount of leafy salad and half an avocado. The acai was decent and a nice touch to the share board but wouldn't be paying for a full sized portion. In theory, the price is good for what you order. But it's just not an enjoyable meal, having to ration that tiny piece of bread/one egg/a quarter of an avocado in order to be able to eat all the pork and carrot (would not eat them on their own). We ended up leaving maybe a third of the pork and carrot even though we weren't completely full. We could have ordered extra bread and eggs but weren't willing to pay extra on top of the price we already paid for the board, plus drinks which were also quite expensive for what they were.

Had the organic nachos and apple crunch acai bowl for takeaway here last week on two separate occasions. Disappointing each time. The nachos were bland and mainly tortilla chips and the acai smoothie base was lumpy and the takeaway bowl was half filled with acai ( go to Kiss the Berry for the best bowls).

Really expensive for what you get. Quality and quantity not equal to the price you pay.

Go to Deer Sir across the road and order the vegie stack instead for $15. One of the best brunches I've had.

MynameisFood.
Pineapple Express, even the name will you turn your head and wonder what it is. One word to describe it, Superfood. Imagine Cacao, Kale, Chia seeds, Cocowhip, Acai bowls, well, I shouldn't name it all so that it'll keep you guessing what they have on their menus. The bright yellow surfboard and the blue and white striped awnings with its wide open windows will show you to Pineapple Express. With breakfast options from Eggs Benedict to green breakfast bowls; smashed avo to protein pancakes along with a wide variety of smoothies, fresh juices and acai bowls, your tummy will be filled healthily.
Miriam McKenzie
The best acai bowls you will ever have 👌🏻 on top of that, they have a very diverse menu and is a great breakfast spot due to location and price
Melissa Lu Nguyen
Excited to try the new menu launch, we made the trek out to portside and ordered the share board, which left us feeling underwhelmed. Flavours were lacking and portions were warped. A few shavings of beetroot and carrot would hardly count as a substantial element. To top it off the servers were less than welcoming, self serve cups were all dirty and when i asked for a small plate, was handed one covered in food... needless to say we won't be returning.
FrenchToast
Healthy food done so well that it tastes better than unhealthy food! Delicious and well balanced. Feeling good. My boyfriend's egg on his eggs benedict was unfortunately undercooked but otherwise everything was great.
Dino Lo
i had the acai with banana base. it was really good, the avo on toast was amazing. the design of the place is not great, could be more rustic. so far the food and cofe were really good. i will be coming back.
Ross
My expectations were high for breakfast at Pineapple Express. Breakfast was good and tasty but nothing super special. Very much a cafe style of service that was pretty good.
Vegananon
The girls here are so accomodating & I love visiting this store in particular. The customer service here is a solid 10 & the food is great, slowly getting smaller portions every time though? Coffee is drinkable but not the best I've had.
Katherine Gehrke
I had breakfast at Pineapple Express yesterday and the menu seemed to be different to what's currently shown here...? I love though that everything on the menu is completely unique to anything I've seen before!

I bought quinoa porridge for $15 (cheapest breakfast) which was mixed with spinach puree, and garnishes of coconut flakes, goji berries, walnuts, strawberry. It was delicious and felt healthy because it wasn't too sweet, although I would have liked an extra strawberry or two to help with flavour.

The staff were wonderful; friendly, efficient and professional. The atmosphere was vibrant, which is excellent first thing in the morning! The place definitely focuses more on drinks (eg. Coffee, smoothies, breakfast bowls) than meals. I believe the price for what I got was appropriate because it was filling and had quality ingredients. I definitely want to return again to try something else!
Violet
cute little breakfast/lunch place with lots of gf healthy options - which is great, as nice tasting gf lunch options are often so hard to find. I have had the coco-whip bowl every time i have been - which is a really great tasting cold dessert, similar to frozen yoghurt, only made from coconut. Great variety of toppings to choose from.
There is room for improvement in the coffee department though - i am not sure if it is the beans they use, but the overall taste is just not that great. I have bought coffee twice, both times was disappointed with the taste and temperature- however that may just be my personal preference in coffees.
SandraKroft
Had a breakfast there last week and was so surprised !! All i can think about is to come back and have more and more!! Everything is healthy and very tasty!! Cant wait to try something else from their menu!! Really sad that they are not open at dinner time... But ohh well ! Will be back for another breakfast or maybe lunch!!
Flight393
i came here to buy a reece's peanut butter cup cocowhip sundae as i have had one from here before and it was delicious. last time i saw the girl prepare it straight from the soft-serve machine. this time, she pulled my sundae out of the freezer. the cocowhip tasted old and was full of icicles. this is not acceptable, especially when you are paying $13 for a dessert. inconsistency is one of the easiest ways to lose a customer!
Manda Lee
Love this place! Staff are so friendly and always remember your name & order! Best protein smoothies in town ^_^ I recommend the King Kong smoothie with raw greens and added protein!
Anne Maree Caton
I love this little Cafe the food is fabulous !! I have lunch there a couple of times a week. Staff are always friendly & helpful !! I have tried quite a few dishes on the menu & it has always been excellent !!
Bec
I bloody adore this little music pumping, finger lickin awesome food and coffee to die for little joint! It's consistently excellent with fantastic friendly staff who always remember your name and coffee order. My favourite things on the menu are the Acai Bowls Brekkie Bowl or Express Plate or Rise and Shine for Breakfast, Organic Nachos for Lunch, and the Death by Chocolate Cocowhip for those in between times. Will definitely continue treating myself and my body to this Superfood Cafe! Love it.
Chèrie Woodford
Excellent café for coffee, healthy food & healthy sweet treats. Customer service is outstanding, super friendly & always with a smile. Campos coffee is served here and the baristas always work their magic to produce the "perfect cup". Their Acai Bowls, Smoothies & Breakfast menu would have to be my absolute favourites. It is so nice to go somewhere you feel so welcome and walk away with a smile. The food is not only delicious, it is healthy and good for your insides.
Missanj
Popular weekend breakfast spot - super busy! Great place to catchup with friends.
Delicious coffee and acai bowls. Haven't tried much else on the menu because I am not ready for change yet. The acai bowls are so addictive!
BL
Sat for 8mins without a hello, a menu, water, anything. 5 or 6 staff all fluffing around the counter, not busy. Walked out disgusted. You'd go broke really fast in Melbourne
Magic
Cool little cafe at Portside. Pet friendly. Service was good. There were no complaints with my meal. Eggs were cooked perfectly along with the bacon, tomatoes kale etc. I would recommend this place for a breakfast outing.
Joshua Wilcox
Very poor food and service, they took away our food before we are finished. Incredibly overcooked. Won't go again. Overpriced and the service was rude and slow to bring out but fast to clear as mentioned before.
Emily
I will remember this place for having THE worst omelette of my life. A thick mass of solid yet gelatinous egg that was inedible. I'm still upset about wasting $16 on a meal I couldn't eat.

Two stars as the location was nice the staff friendly and the coffee was good. My advice is stick to the acai bowls and smoothies!
Bloatationdevice
Great little place at Hamilton's Portside Wharf. A good option when you want something lighter. I got the cocowhip (a coconut water based, dairy-free soft serve) with banana, passionfruit and strawberries. The fruits were really fresh and tasty. I want to go back and try their pancakes and smoothies! They open at 5:30am, which is handy if you want something before you start your day. However they close at 5pm all week, which is a shame if you wanted a cocowhip for dessert at night.
Kate Hudson
I have not dined here for a meal but I ordered one from their growing menu of Cocowhip creations. The lovely lady offered advice as to which one I should choose and I went with the Pavolva which had cocowhip (coconut vegan softserve), smashed pav, clean strawberry jam, lemon couli & strawberries on the side. I love that these creations are all "clean" and refined sugar & dairy free. They don't leave you feeling heavy and bloated and this particular one was quite refreshing with the added fruit. Also most of the staff were lovely except a gentleman behind the counter who seemed to be finishing his shift was acting quite aggressive and hurried, and was cursing over something. The cocowhip is expensive for the amount you get, but overall I will probably grab another every so often as it was a pleasant little place with appealing fresh decor.
Ambrosial. Feat. Clem + Dom + Julie
Acai bowl was definitely the favourite. It was fresh, flavoursome and not bland in any way! The nachos was warm for the windy weather and looked too good that we forgot to take a photo before we started. Would not recommend on a windy day as everything was flying everywhere! Menus could do with lamination, but overall it is a place worth revisiting as the food was amazing!! Very happy!!

Not as I expected. The cappuccino is average. I ordered mash avocado on bread and the bread was burn and been covered up with the mash avo.
Rebekah Jane Larmer
After waiting 20 minutes for my take away coffee and acai bowl, the coffee was bitter and burnt. This was not the best start to a long day. At least the acai bowl was reasonably good.
A
Pineapple Express was so expensive and so average. $7 for a piece of banana bread? That's just embarrassing. My acai bowl was more muesli than anything else and made my mouth ache. I won't be back.
Chew-bakka
Aesthetically pleasing, delicious, healthy food plus an awesome team! Ticks all the boxes for me! Some of my favorites...smashed avo with added haloumi (of course), raw peanut butter slice, endless summer smoothie, hipsters fix juice (added ginger), vegan burrito bowl (add fish) just to name a few of my regular items!
LLSSSSS
It is not express at all!
I have ordered a burger and a smoothie. 15 minutes later I have got my smoothie and then I have been waiting for another half a hour to get my burger! Trust me the burger is definitely not worth to wait more than half a hour!
Time is money! Just imagining how expensive does the burger cost you! I'm very disappointed and unhappy!
Jason Geraghty
Great coffee and a pleasant little cafe to find your fix for healthy food! Tried the acai bowls, had both the breakfast bowl and mango madness bowl over the past week with freshly squeezed orange juice on both occasions. The portion sizes are generous and the food tastes delicious!!! If you're in the area I highly recommend visiting this place for a quick bite to eat!
Jay
I wanted this place to be my new favourite spot and from the outside I was seriously impressed. It looks great and on a good day it really is however having been here a few times now the inconsistency drives me crazy. When it's good it's great but when it's not it's terrible and I have walked away disappointed more than once.
Birdee Wellness
Great place! Very friendly staff and great tasting food! 10/10 value for money! Ordered the green bowl and it really exceeded our expectations! Will be back :)
Gregory Leigh
Great food and service, the nachos were out of this world and I'm most definitely addicted to cocowhip now thanks to the pineapple! Having all babes behind the counter isn't bad either.
Jun180
Great range of healthy food and coffee, especially for those who are fitness and health conscious. Also love being able to preorder my coffee using the Pineapple Express app!
Howgoodisfoodbut
Had heard the hype and it definitely hit the expectation. Great breakfast and so many healthy options.. Would recommend trying one of their many delicious smoothies.. Will be back again soon for sure!
Anthony George Polichronis
Who said healthy food can't taste delicious! My protein pancakes were amazing, awesome vibe in the restaurant and you can streamline the ordering process by using their app!

Can't get much better than that.
Angus McLachlan
I hear every time you order a Coco Whip, Justin Bieber falls down the stairs. Pineapple Express Cafe is a great little place, serving up a sweet Campos Coffee hit.

@Boppl
Klikestoeat
I had the express breakfast, something like that and it was quite pleasant. But the service wasn't all that great, they forgot about my friends coffee and we got it after we finished our breakfasts and the girl at the counter paypassed my friends card without asking and even after she asked her not to PayPass it which was a bit rude. Not what I expected after I heard all the hype about it.
Thomas Gazal
I thought this place was great. Food was excellent, loved the nachos! Coffee was spot on (campos). Cocowhip was delicious and even a few babes behind the counter. Thumbs up
Josh Somerville
A quick Friday morning brekkie with a mate was on the cards before work - I ordered the french toast and a coffee. The coffee was extremely bitter. My friends acai bowl came out in normal time, about 20 minutes after ordering. 30 minutes later I'm still waiting so I go and ask one the staff members what's going on and he told me I was up next, which was a lie. Another 15 minutes goes by and not much is happening so I go and request my money back as I had to get to work and refused to wait any longer for 2 pieces of bread and some berries. He told me that they were very busy and that's the reason it was taking so long, even though there was no more than 10 people in the cafe.

The .5 star is because I got my money back as requested and they gave me me french toast take away, but for $15 I would of been disappointed anyway. French toast is supposed to be soaked in egg but by the looks/taste I'm very sceptical if that's the case. Do not rate.
Danika Whitehead
Absolutely LOVE the food. Best Acai bowl I've had in brisbane and the raw slices are lovely! Prices are great too. Only downfall was the lack of seating, possibly because of the hype and popularity. However, would definitely recommend this place.

Great for a quick brekky, they had the fires going outside this morning so we sat outside comfortable with the pooch in tow! Coffee was Campos well executed, good strength & nice creamy flavor. Avocado had dukah & cherry tomatoes so all good. Only whine was our meals didn't arrive together, however it seems to have the vibe of a take away about it & the prices reflect that so no big deal!

Brand new superfood cafe Pineapple Express Cafe opened earlier this month so we decided to check out what everyone was talking about!. We both opted for two Green Bowls one savoury and one sweet. They both annoyingly arrived at alternate times. I tried the Pineapple Express Green Smoothie Bowl $12 – Banana, Kale, Spinach, Pineapple, Coyo Ice Cream, Ganola and Goji Berries (which were missing off my bowl). Whilst looking very impressive the base unfortunately was not as flavoursome as anticipated.

Yes, the food is healthy. Think acai bowls, CocoWhip™, and protein pancakes; but healthy food by no means equals bland, boring food. In fact, the super food French toast served with strawberries, berry compote and coyo ($15) was a really delicious treat! Although, it would be nice if they were more generous with the strawberries; the toast itself was finger-lickingly good, slightly burnt at the bottom with a buttery, creamy texture. The coyo was light as air, yet with each bite, it filled my mouth with ample taste of tropical fruit, not to mention that when teamed up with the berry compote, it worked wonders.

I am a self-confessed fit-foodie, so you can imagine my delight when this delightfully gym-friendly cafe opened on my side of the river. Certain to please the macro-munchers, the paleo-people, the coeliac-crusaders, the vegans, the vegos, the protein pros and the acai afficionados; or in my case, those who are utterly obsessed with cocowhip. They make great coffee, the service is relatively quick and they offer a great variety of salads, wraps, breakfast bowls and smoothies that leave even us fussy eaters spoiled for choice. Good for your insides for sure!

I frequent this place weekly for my morning coffee and breakfast, and find the staff friendly and personable. The food and drinks are well priced and neatly presented. Definitely recommend Pineapple Express.

No complaints here. The fit out is spot on. The place is warm and friendly with a good atmosphere. I went for the express plate and green and clean smoothie - delicious.

The acai bowls here are well priced but I felt that the consistency was a little too watery to my liking. Love the beautiful plating and the granola added.

I was disappointed. Was excited to try the funky new cafe and I was let down. Ordered breakfast and got overcooked eggs cold Bacon and beans. Awful meal yet the menu read so nicely. maybe they should check the chefs in the kitchen and reassess there options.

I went to Pineapple Express with a friend and we ordered from both the hot and cold menu. I had the Acai breakfast bowl and was impressed that it was a large portion with delicious granola, lots of strawberries and blueberries (not frozen) and was not too sweet. My friend ordered the smashed avo on gluten free bread and said that the gluten free toast, avocado and feta were all delicious and in generous portions in comparison to some other cafe gluten free bread options. Overall we were both impressed with the store cleanliness, price and quality, staff friendliness and location. I will definitely be heading back!

There seem to be a lot of cafes and restaurants opening up in Brisbane lately that specalise in doughnuts or deep fried chicken on waffles. Don't get me wrong- I love that stuff, but eating it every day is not terribly sustainable if you want to fit into your pants next week. Thankfully, there's another new kid on the scene that will help to keep your body on the right track- Pineapple Express Cafe.
