Review Singapore In Brisbane - Brisbane

Foodie Adventure
If you want authentic asian cuisine than look no further. Singapore & Co Kitchen really know how to deliver great high quality asian meals in particular Singaporean dishes to it’s customers but for me one dish l can never go past is their mind blowing laksas. The laksa broth itself has so much flavour and depth and it’s massive. I have never been able to finish it on my own. Just simply amazing. Another one to try is their Roti Canai. Made fresh and again seriously yum! There BBQ selection is also a stand out. Packed with flavour and absolutely delicious. Their Crispy pork belly and roast duck along with dry noodles is a must and again the portion sizes here is huge. Very generous and lucky for us Brisbane foodies they have two restaurants. One on Albert Lane Brisbane CBD and another one in Sunnybank. It’s comfort food at it’s best and never ever disappointing.

Good service and nice food. Large portion sizes and worth the price. Short queue during peak times. Lots of variety on the menu and worth going back couple of times to try them all out.
Nicky Jurd
One of the mainstay locations in the Brisbane CBD. Excellent tasty food, large portions, blisteringly fast service and friendly staff. If you’re in a rush and don’t have much time for lunch this place is excellent. I love the laksa and the noodles. Their frappes are also cold and refreshing. Pictured here is the crispy wonton laksa, lobok spring roll and watermelon frappe.

Authentic little place for Singaporean food. The serving is huge especially the Laksa and reasonably priced. The service was prompt and the food was delicious.

Great selection. My friends got nasi lemak and noodles. I had the hainanese chicken and it was really good. Will be back to try other foods.

great for a quick and filling meal. the portion sizes are quite big. there's a few vegetarian options but mainly meat dishes. you have to wait to be seated, and they take your order but you have to go up to pay so take note of your table number. this place does get pretty busy too.

I ordered combination laksa . and it contains a lot of fresh sea food. It just nice.
Alan Kwek
The food taste authentic. But my rice noodle is over cooked and breaking apart. Did not find chicken rice in the menu which is what I actually wanted. So I order chicken noodle

Nice little joint tucked away in the Albert lane.
Good fresh food , and a very friendly staff. They were very generous to offer water to a tired customer like me even when I was only ordering a takeaway.
The spiciness of nasi girenge was also tapered down to suit the requirements for my toddler .
Will visit again .. highly recommend!!

Met up with some good friends over a weekend lunch at Little Singapore a couple weeks ago for a long overdue catch up. Had called up ahead to make a reservation before the lunch to ensure we had a table, but the restaurant was largely free for walk ins on the weekend. As a response to their continued support during the covid lockdown, all dishes were on special for $11.90 except for the chef's selection, thereby making the menu pretty much flat fee. We ordered at the counter once we decided what we wanted. From memory, they had quite a few bubble tea options but this must have been abolished.

Never think that the first time to have meals here is a vegetarian day but this restaurant does not let us down.
It was a Sunday lunch that we made a trip to the City particularly for the purpose of exploration.
Outcomes are decent! Those deep fried tofus are so crispy especially the dips; they are perfect partner. Vegetarian laksa gains our appreciation with tasteful broth and generous portions. The generosity does not stop on the Roti, there are various dips that accomplish with the roti. They are superb.
It was a full on lunch😋😋😋
Rating: 4.5/5

This place does the best laksa in brisbane, it will blow your mind! I get it regularly. They char kway teoh and spring rolls are also fantastic. However, today I Uber’d a beef chow mein with egg noodles and was severely disappointed :( I thought it would be a nice wok fried egg noodle dish with lots of fresh ingredients. Instead I got a container full of salty, sludgy gloop that didn’t taste like anything. Swimming in the gloop were completely tasteless and chewy pieces of beef, tasteless boiled vegetables and tasteless crispy noodles that, when softened in the goop, turn into sludgy worms with no texture or flavour. I’m sorry Singapore! Your laksa is amazing but I literally couldn’t even eat four mouthfuls of what I can only aliken to some kind of weird space food 😢 sorry!

Great pork belly and roast duck! Great for a Hainanese chicken rice fix

Hmmm let’s just say...i was really disappointed. I arrived around 7pm on a Tuesday night and was seated immediately; cleanliness and overall feel was okay. Ordered the noodle 2 meat combo (crispy pork and duck). The waitress came back to say they ran out of crispy pork so i changed it to BBQ pork. Then she came back again and said they ran out of duck too!!! Well...that sucks. I ended up just getting two portions of bbq pork but in hindsight i should’ve just left and came back during the day when they probably had more options 🤷🏻‍♀️. Anyway, When it arrived it was extremely underwhelming. Pork was flavored okay, noodles sitting in a watery sauce, and there were like three pieces of vegetables. I think lesson learned here is come earlier in the day!

As many reviewers have mentioned, service is below average. Food is really tasty. We ordered roast duck rice and egg rice noodle (wat tan hor). The duck is surprisingly good and matching Cantonese restaurant quality. Rice noodle is generous and authentic.

Menu said 600mL water but gave us 500mL water. Feeling scammed. I know it’s only 100mL difference but still feels like it’s false advertising at its finest. #ACCC. Foods alright I guess
Kamrul Hasan
Excellent variety of options. Tasty food. I have been here many times and never been disappointed. Always busy because they are good. Highly recommend.
DianaW
Deducting a point here for the service, my food was bought out before my partners both for the entree & the main. Not just that, the main was bought out before the entrees. So when this was all sorted & the entrees eventually came together, spring rolls were good, nice crunch & delicate filling, deep fried tofu was light with a crispy coat & came in a huge serve. Mains were pretty average my vegetarian curry didn't have much flavor or spice, the side of chilli sauce helped . Partners pork was dry

To put it plainly, I am obsessed with the Singapore noodles from this restaurant. So as a long term customer of the CBD location, I was really worried when I had heard about the restaurant’s name change (prev. Little Singapore). Did this mean it was under a new management ? Was the menu going to be revamped ? Would they still serve my beloved noodles in the same way ?

So I had to see for myself and much to my delight, it seemed as if nothing had changed sans the name. Consequently I ordered my usual: Singapore Noodles and a Lemon Green Tea.

The noodles were delicious, piping hot and brimming with flavour. They are good on their own, but when one squeezes the complimentary lemon wedge - the dish becomes the perfect blend of sweet and savoury. It is truly a harmony of flavours at an operatic proportion in your mouth.

Additionally, my tea was perfect. Just how I like it ! Service was also quick and friendly. Can’t wait to come back, enjoy 😊
Ang Sarap
If you are in Brisbane and craving or some laksa this joint might be your best bet, Little Singapore Restaurant. Laksa is one of my favourite dishes and trust me I had many laksa’s in my life and most of it is in Singapore as well as in Malaysia and the one they serve at this place is similar if not better that those.
Ayudiaaudrey
I was looking for something great and got disappointed. It could be better, and the food are just pure mediocre. Wouldn’t recommend this to others
Spice Is Life
As my wife is a lover of roast meats, we tried Little Singapore this time and ordered a selection of two meats: BBQ Pork & Roast Duck with dry noodles. Albeit more on the saltier side, the value and the portion makes the $15.9 price worth it.

My only wish is that they gave more vegetables than that one strand on the plate as veggies wouldn’t have cost that much for them anyway.
FOODIE ADVENTURE
Absolutely delicious. Love the pork belly laksa. The pork is amazing and the laksa has so much flavour. It has a nice thick soup. Hate watery style laksa but the laksa at Little Singapore is perfect.
Brisbanista
The laksa is the crowd favourite. I like how you can order a meat, noodle, soup, rice and style. Authentic Asian food with quick service. The meals are a generous size.
Kat
Great place to visit if you are after an Asian fix in the CBD. The dishes are tasty, servings generous and reasonably priced. Our favourite is their laksa! Soup has a delicious flavour with a great balance between creamy and spicy and ingredients were fresh. Definitely a winner!
Catdog
Very busy, but have heard this place is good. Wonton soup was ok , but the laksa was sooo yummy!! The laksa base was really yum and they were generous with the veges. I’d go back for the laksa.
Multiyoisi Mok
very authentic and good. doesnt deserve such a low rating at all. quite genuinely the best malaysian/singapore chinese restaurant i have ever been to outside of malaysia or singapore. the coconut drink was bad but everything else was great. we all over ate. id take off some marks for the drinks but i dont think the rating should be 4.5 it should be more like 4.7 but thats not an option so i just rounded up to 5 especially since this shop is VERY under rated. some people here seem to be complaining about cold meat. you do realize that the meat is MEANT to be cold right? cold meat dishes are a thing in asian cuisine . the service could be improved though i do agree with that one. the waiters were pretty snubby
Rohit
This is the place where I regularly have my lunch.
It's a lovely restaurant which can fetch the best fried rice kind of dishes. They do it with prawns, chicken and what not.

Good thing is that you can ask them to customise your dishes. I regularly ask them to make it spicy for me.

Nasi gorang, fried rice and roti kanai is their speciality.
Sarah James
Not the fastest service, average food. Still a pretty good place to eat. Fairly priced. Big portions and nice waitresses who know their job well. Really not a bad spot.
HelenCo
Had the Nasi Goreng. Was spicy and delightful.
Was pressed for time and it was hard to pin down a server to take our order... but was food was fab, so I'll give them another go and make sure I wear my assertive pants.
Foodie Guru
came in on a saturday night and the staff were extremely rude, rushing me to order. i ordered the hainan chicken takeaway. after leaving the restaurant i check my food and i notice that there are a lot of red parts in the chicken. i go back to the shop and tell them to reheat it and they sigh and put it in the microwave they then hand it back to me without even apologising or anything at all.
I will not be back.
Sunny Yeung
Roti is abit bland and served warm not hot. Always come back for the Hainan chicken rice it's probably one of the best in Brisbane. Speedy lunch service.
Renee
Friendly, promt service. Delicious food made fresh. Fantastic value for money. We were only in Brisbane for two nights but ate here both nights with two young kids and were very happy.
Graeme Walls
Authentic Chinese cuisine. Service is quick and staff very efficient.
Singapore Noodles exactly as I prefer with curry, egg, bbq pork, chicken, prawns and rice noodles.
Steamed rice is perfect.
John Smith
Terrible food. Overpriced. No tap water. Bad service! Do not bother. They also try to charge for lemon Slice in Coke and to use paypass. Bad bad bad.
Please do not waste your time!
Carla Brittain
Food is fairly average & the customer service isn't great - a girl sitting a couple of tables away had a starbucks cup with hot water in it and they told her that she wasn't allowed to bring any drinks in from somewhere else.. also don't serve tap water. There's a fair few places I know of where I could get a better feed for less money.
Pritika
I absolutely love this place and it's my go-to restaurant to satiate my Asian food cravings! ❤ I always make sure we get Nasi Goreng and Kung Po chicken are my favourites and I make sure I get more chilli oil with it as I love the spice! Singaporean food with some good bubble tea/frappe with those Boppas? This place never disappoints me!
Bridget
Extremely quick service, very cheap food and huge servings! The food here is so good for how much you pay. We ordered the laksa and the egg noodles. It was amazing! Definitely reccommend the laksa
Hayley
Quick, friendly service. Food was quite good considering it came out so quickly. Watermelon Juice was great. Lychee frappe the bf has was also apparently great. Would dine here again for a quick, cheap bite.
Rebecca
I wasn't feeling well last night so this may have impacted my experience. Overall quick service and inexpensive food. I like that you can combine your meats but the noodles were stuck together in clumps. If I was in the area I think I would be back for the two meat option but maybe noodle soup would be better
Branch Bacardi
I always visit this place when I visit Brisbane. Nice atmosphere and great value, tasty food. I also love the huge bucket sized milk tea. I often order the fresh taro milk tea and kung po chicken. Never lets me down.
Peruvian Palate
Nice spot for a quick lunch. This place can get very busy but the food comes out pretty fast so you won't have to wait that long for a table. Well priced, but you can tell they are using the cheaper cuts of meat. My pork was so chewy I couldn't eat that much of it.
Nat Scoon
With very limited options for Singaporean food in Brisbane you can't really complain. Service isn't over the top friendly but it isn't bad either and they're fast. Prices are reasonable for the large portions. Even though a real Singaporean might not say it is the best the food is still pretty damn good. The Laksa is my favourite and Combination Ho Fun.
Leish
I have eaten here twice after a first bad experience I thought I'd give it a go. Nope, I ordered roti Chanai it taste like cardboard and they make you wait outside because I ordered take away
Crap food and service no thanks
John Kim
Disgusting food. Disgusting service. Disgusting hygiene. Went there last week ago. Told by waitress to sit outside. I said I want to sit inside. Hardly anyone there. Other waitress came over and rudely explained they're trying to clean tables inside. Close the shop to clean up not during business hours! Anyway I stood my ground. No free tap water. Where is this? Third world country? This should be illegal. Anyway bought a juice instead. Saw chef inside fixing his hair in front of fridge door with his hands in between cooking. Really? No wonder why Singapore noodle was so oily. Love Singaporean dish in Singapore. This place is a run down dirty restaurant that should be closed down permanently.
Matt
Reheated roti, are they serious? Pretty sure in Singapore they'd be shut down. Curry was good but the reheated roti (yes i saw them do it) was a disgrace
Gugu
Hubby took me to this place for a quick little lunch date yesterday. It was fairly cold, so was looking for something spicy and warm. Was certainly not disappointed.
I ordered the satay chicken w/rice, and he had the Kung Po w/chicken & rice.
The food was delicious, and full of flavour. The satay chicken had just the right amount of "nutty" flavour without being too overpowering. I did manage to have a few spoonfuls of the Kung po, and really liked the flavour. If you enjoy a sweet/spicy dish with a kick of chilli then Kung Po is definitely the dish for you!
I was also pleasantly surprised that the OJ I ordered was freshly squeezed - which is always a plus.
The only let down was the service. The girl did not seem to care at all - playing and tying up her hair as she served us our cutlery.
Our food did also take quite a bit of time to come out considering that people who arrived after us, received their drinks and food first. Usually that would not have bothered me, but when you're on a time crunch with a short lunch break it can be quite annoying.
All in all a win for me, and I'll definitely be going back.
Envyfood
It's a shame. They have decent food. Though I could see dirt that they failed to wash off on my vegetables. But staff is rude. When we said "excuse me" to ask a question we got the response of "what!?" Oh and they don't serve table water. Even when You asked several times. I'd prefer to take my business else where.
Brisfoodiefangirl
We had a great work lunch down at little Singapore. The meals are really big and very reasonably priced. The food came out quickly which was perfect for a lunch break.
Misscharlot
Came here for lunch, gotta wait for 5 mins to get the seat...but that's ok, cause is peak lunch hour. Since I have been craving for Hainanese chicken rice for several days...thought this place will be good...but it turns out a little disappointed. the rice is obviously not freshly boiled chicken oil rice, is dry and when it is served, u know it should be a bowl shape right...but it collapsed.....just can't really take a pic for it. the chicken was great though.

Been here twice this week. First time I had the beef brisket with rice, and tonight I had a combination chow mein.

Arrived at the restaurant at 8pm and the lady who was running the floor told me to site at their outside table, j then asked if I could sit inside and she immediately said no sorry inside restaurant is now close. While their door clearly stated their restaurant opens until 11pm.

Then I order my meal (combination chow mein, $12.50) in the meal I got large amount of noodles not with heaps of sauce, and 2 prawns and 2 pieces of chicken meat, and 2 pieces of seafood extended, and the rest of it was full with fry tofu.

Would I order that dish again? Hmm no.. Why it was not value for money. I do not feel all of that is worth $12.50 at all.

All the other shops around that restaurant was far more busier then them. Maybe save your money and go somewhere else.
Grant
Average food. Wait staff are clearly in a rush. They refuse to serve tap water, even on request. Go elsewhere - you'll have a better experience for your money and time.
Lily Moegelberg
Terrible!! There were tables available and no customers waiting to be sested but we were asked to leave as we had only wanted drinks. When the milk tea finally arrived, it was tasteless!! Very disappointed.
Fiona Vanwaveren-Wilshire
Had a entree and two mains. The entree was good, spring rolls. The mains were garlic prawns with rice and kau po chicken. When mains were served the chicken was served and we had to wait 5 minutes for the prawn dish. The prawn dish was unseasoned, no garlic and no taste. The chicken dish was also unseasoned. The food overall was terrible. They also dont serve alcohol. Would not go theee again.
Jessie Cassandra Hall
Really nice good and relatively cheap. For a busy Friday night we received our meals quite fast. The Hokien noodles were absolutely delicious.
Coops
I don't know why I keep coming back. I ask the waitress if the meal came with steamed greens as per the image on the menu . She said yes, around two pieces. What was given to me was a plate with cold rice and cold pork with a side of cold pickles and two thin slice of cold cucumber. went well with my drink of cold lychee frappe... Which wait for it, came once I had finished my meal.
Jess Mitchell
Lovely food. Beef in black bean sauce with noodles and the roti lamb curry. Service was suitable but a bit ordinary, but the food was lovely with a lovely pricetag to match!
Evelyn.abadines
Never again. I went to Little Singapore Uptown for a small pre-birthday gathering today. I called and made a table booking and mentioned I was bringing a cake with me. They said it was fine to bring a cake.
When we got there, the service was horrible - they all seemed distracted, disinterested and generally unhappy to even have patrons in their restaurant.
We had to flag down our server a number of times before we could place an order. After placing our drinks order we asked for a bottle of tap water for the table. We were told they have NO tap water. Seriously? So I asked for bottles of spring water and cups...after asking for this on 3 occasions, we eventually gave up on ever having any water.
The food was the only saving grace - luckily the food was delicious.
When we finished our meal we asked them to bring out the cake. We were told that they didn't have any plates, a knife or forks to give us to serve the cake. We ended up giving up on this idea and enjoyed the cake at home instead.
Even though the food was good, the terrible customer service left a bad taste in my mouth.
I'm never going back to this place ever again.
John.searls
Char Kway Teow. I had been previously and thought the sit down meal was average quality and average size. This time I tried take-away. For $12.90 the portion size was small. One prawn only. Two pieces of overcooked calamari. Not recommended. I won't go again. Best to choose a food hall vendor where if you get served up the same at least you are only paying around $8.
Shin Hsueh
Terrible Service. Don't come here unless you enjoy terrible service.
Chris Stuck
Great!. Walking past and decided to try this place out earlier this week and now I'm back again. Both times for a late lunch and have really enjoyed it. Service was fast. Crispy pork belly and beef dish excellent. Will be back.
Mhel8733
Not bad. Big servings. Food was average.
City
Awful!. Went for lunch at this place and it was an awful experience. Staff were incredibly rude & unfriendly, food was extremely oily & tasted off. My partner & I both felt after eating here. Would definitely not recommend this place. Go to Vapiano's next door instead!
CityGirl
Very poor service and below average good.
Ceddy0920
Great service and meals, I LOVED their ROTI!!. Had dinner at around 6:30 at this restaurant that's kind of like "hidden" in the core of the CBD area, which my friend recommended me to try out last Friday (1st of August). The service was quick and friendly, especially a great service offered by the restaurant manager (which I supposed so, as she wasn't in staff uniform), who answered my questions patiently and also provided me a few recommendations of meals to try as a first-time-visit customer. Had roti with curry that night and I am pretty sure that I will come back again just for this and try other meals, too!
B_162
Underwhelming. My dining experience was a little lacklustre. The food was decent for the most part, however there was a confusion in our order that left us waiting longer than preferred. I've never been to Little Singapore (and have been to Little Hong Kong, a sister restaurant which I've enjoyed time and time again) but the way which the food was served (on a silver tray) and service was underwhelming.
Connie Zhang
Bad service ever! Never come back again.
Jun Chen
Worst experience ever, terrible service and The chef must don't know what is he doing in the kitchen, will never go again....not recommend, JUST DONT GO
Meng Tsai
As a Chinese, I definitely won't come here again. Me and my partner ordered the chicken satay and that was something else...... Worse one ever. Also the prawn noodle, don't mention only three prawn inside and also over dry BBQ pork which was a bad bad combanation, and soup and noodle they don't taste like from the same dish... First had so weird Chinese type food.
Janetwhi
Roti roti. I love the roti and chick curry. Laksa is not bad too. Big portion size. Will go back again.
Posh
Not as good as before. I ordered a bowl of Ipon chicken noodles. It came with literally five small pieces of shredded chicken (some still came with the skin) and a bowl of plain rice noodles with a few dips of spicy sauce/oil. So disappointment when you have to pay $12.50 for it! I used to go to Little Singapore for yummy food in generous portions, but now the quality and quantity are not as good as before!

I'll stick to the spicy diced chicken and onion with rice! This one is still good!
Emma Reynolds
Finally somewhere that sells Roti! My friend and I regularly come here for lunch and our roti fix.. Meat can be absolutely gorgeous or a little chewy depends on how long it's been cooking.. But portion sizes are massive. Overall though one of my favourite places to eat on Brisbane!
Susy
My dish was a tad bland and oily for my liking. Also they won't bring u a glass of tap water instead requesting you buy a bottle which is not great really - More plastic wasted. Also payment is cash only ....0verall Not very accommodating or enjoyable.
Maverick
Amazing portion sizes. Had the Nasi Goreng, huge portions could have done half size. Very busy for lunch, might have to wait a little but it is worth it. Good value, average price is $12.50

Little Singapore Up Town - Central Business District, Brisbane. One of a bunch of eateries spread across the city, Little Singapore Up Town is located on a pedestrian lane amongst other restaurants. I met a friend here for a brief lunch - after turning up at the wrong location (there is another one in the Central Business District about two or three streets away). For a dining experience replicating quick eating in South-East Asia it is worth it, and there is some tasty, wholesome and substantial food to boot.

The dining area is almost as simple as you can get. It is essentially a little hole-in-the-wall and has a vibe of a food court. Diners have a view of the chefs cooking and assembling the meals plus there are screens showing the different dishes possible to order - fantastic for those who order with their eyes.

Service here was good as you can expect - they had a calm demeanour and served the meals proficiently. This is one of the best options for those short on time.

My order was a dried beef ho fun and I got a watermelon frappe to drink (there was water, but you had to pay for that). I was considering getting something as a starter, but my friend was not too interested. Considering the size of the meal that was to come, I was quite glad that I skipped the entree and just had a main instead.
It is hard to state just how big of a serve they gave, it took up almost the entire plate and it was not a flat meal. They used a good cut of beef for the stir fry and they were generous amounts of bean sprouts within the dish. The noodles were thick and sometimes hard to pick up with chopsticks; they had an ideal mix of oil and soy sauce coating them making the dish never boring. A very wise choice from the menu.
It was a very hot day and the watermelon frappe was saitiating, water would have been wasted. The flavour of the watermelon was very apparent, and they even used real watermelon. It was refreshing and cold just what was needed in a drink.

Wholesome and as basic as you can get for Malaysian food around this nape of the woods. Basic food but still wholly interesting. If I am in the right mood, I shall be back here.
Michael Song
Much too oily and salty. Flavours see okay but completely dominated by the salt and oil. Tone those down and I'll vote it up.
Wallaroo
Recommended. This is probably one of the best places in the CBD to get a decent, cheap, sit-down meal for dinner. By cheap I mean under $15 per meal. I could not believe how generous the serves were. Plus open late, major bonus.
Ashley Smith
Is singapore seasoning only have salt and chill. I came to this restaurant and the other one in Charelotte st servel times. if i can compare both of this, up town is much sucker than the other, specifically char kuay teow, all i can taste were salty and spicy. Lucky, urs have a good services than the charlotte st.
Canturigirl
Love, love, love it!. First authentic Singapore Restaurant to hit the CBD! All the noodle dishes are amazing and their chicken-rice transports you to the hawker centres in Singapore! Great flavours. Made from scratch! Highly recommend. I noticed there was a previous comment by a Blogger "DolceBunnie" stating that their coffees were not good. I can't comment because I wouldn't ever buy a coffee from an Asian takeaway anyway, but why would you buy a coffee from an Asian fast food restaurant when you have Italian-style "Illy" espresso bars just around the corner? Little Singapore hand make all their iced teas - no bottled stuff (you must try the lychee). Iced teas is the beverage Asia is famous for...Not coffee! Back to my commentary...Well priced and generously portioned. I look forward to trying the whole menu. I am a harsh reviewer usually, so I will have to say one negative comment...Their coconut beef curry dish (can't remember the correct name) had too much coconut and the cut of beef used was not correct. They used tough rump cubes and the beef should have been falling apart on the fork...Next time they should use a chin cut of beef. I will still go back though!
Bullette Angus
Fast fresh fabulous this is the second time here 2 different dishes both delicious I will be back
Elmo-monster
No longer tasty. Sadly, I have to agree with some of the reviews, this eatery has gone down the gurgler. I don't know if it has changed management or changed chefs but my Char Kway Teow was the worst I have tasted. It was bland and I had to hunt around to find any seafood. I finally found a prawn hidden under a noodle- ok, I am exagerating a little, but it seems that they have cut costs by throwing in a stingy amount of seafood in a bowlful of oily rice noodles. I only ate one forkful and left the rest. Honestly, I couldn't eat anymore, and I think even if I had thrown in extra soy sauce or what ever condiments were available, it wouldn't have improved the flavour.

I will not return, nor will I recommend this place. So disappointed. Give it a miss.
Andrew Kelly
Little Singapore Yum Yum. Another great eatery by Little Singapore. More of a light version of their other stores with a reduced menu however same quick service and tasty food. A great place for a quick, tasty and inexpensive meal.
D-ka
Not as foodcourty as it looks. I checked out this place based on its reviews on Urbanspoon. When I showed up, I literally considered trying to find somewhere else interesting as the shiny new foodcourt look totally turned me off.

To my surprise the food was actually quite decent. I ordered the curry and bbq pork on dry noodles and am seriously looking forward to returning! Also thought I would be disappointed by the size of the little takeaway cups they serve it in, but am stuffed!
Chilli Lover
Absolutely Fantastic. I found this place on urbanspoon and was not dissapointed. It is my new favourite place to eat. There is even a 'chilli buffet' so if you like it hot take as much as you like from the self serve table Mmmmmmmm
Maxi
Not the usual standard. They ventured into something completely different and the result ain't good. Should have stick with their usual style. First off, it's a like fast food counter - with chairs and tables for you, but not the usual restaurant. 2nd, the prices are more expensive compare to Sunnybank's one. 3rd, the service is non-existent, being a fast food place, whatya expect. Plus, all the food are little worse off compare to the one at Charlotte St and Sunnybank. Lastly, their drinks are the worst offender, the milk tea are tasteless and so are all the other drinks. Do yourself a favor, ordered a drink from somewhere else.
Jc
Very disappointed, a disgrace to Malaysian and Singapore food Had the Nasi lemak, rice was cold and tough probably been sitting there for ages. Chicken was dry and tasteless. The branch in fortitude valley has better food served.
Bill Weatherby
Not bad. The food in Little Singapore is definitely authentic. That does not mean to say that it was all good. I would say that I have enjoyed my more than 50% of my meals there. The remainder were mediocre.

Like almost ALL Asian restaurants, the service was terrible.
Richard
Excellent Food, Massive Portions. Little Singapore is a recent addition to our list of regularly visited restaurants.

Nasi Lemak is my standard setting dish in Malaysian cooking and the one they make here is one of the best. The serving is *gigantic* and delicious. My wife says that the wonton soup is the best she's ever had.

It's a touch more expensive than some of the other places nearby but it's not by a great deal. Todays lunch cost around $35 with drinks for both of us which is pretty damn good considering how much food you get.
Tamarillo
...another place ticked off my wish list ... nice fast easy well priced chinese eatery ... good but not great
Vera
Singaporean food in Brisbane. Not as good as the food in Singapore that you can get for less than $5...But since we're not in Singapore, I guess this will do.

Added points for the free condiments (garlic chili, ginger)
TWARH
I think everytime I've been to little singapore, I always ordered the combination chow mein. So a change was in order. I thought my hokkien noodles for $12.50 was a little boring. Quantity was good but quality was average. It was a choice of convenient and price than actually taste and service. I've never been a fan of little singapore to begin with and I guess that justifies it.
Dolce Bunnie
Their coffee tea ($3.80) however, was a little disappointing.
Brisbane Devoured
We’ve eaten at Little Singapore Uptown numerous times and its always delicious. The menu is a pared down version of the other restaurants and food is always served in plastic or paper bowls with plastic cutlery but it has a great busy atmosphere and there are always crowds of people enjoying their food.
Eat Drink And Be Kerry
If you haven't explored Albert Lane in the heart of Brisbane's CBD you really should. There are some great eating options. Here's a story I wrote for Jetstar's August Inflight magazine. Posted by Eat, drink + be Kerry at 2:13 PM Email This
