Slow to produce in comparison to other coffee places on a Sat morning. Coffee was good and for a vanilla flat white extra hot I rated it 7/10 in comparison to a Merlo equivalent which is 10/10 at Toowong.

Perfect flatty, nice outdoor seating area, and friendly (and very fast) staff! Oh and the yoghart brekkie cookie is fantastic too. So they have pretty much everything you could ask for in your favorite espresso bar.

I called by The Cheeky Bean for a flat white on my way to the Green Markets. I had been here previously a few years back when it was under different management. The coffee has improved since that last visit. Ordered a double shot in a takeaway cup (I think they only had takeaway anyway) it was very busy so there were no seats. Coffee was ok, definitely needed the double shot though to bring out the flavor

Re-visited this cafe in last July. It was a rainy day so it should be the first time that I saw nobody lining up for their coffee. Although there was no suitable place for me to sit down for my coffee, the taste and strength of my coffee did act as the compensation for the issue. I love these guys - always so friendly and remember their regulars, which is especially nice on a bleary Monday morning and great for business. The coffee is mostly consistent, I've only had 2 bad coffees in the 4-5 months I've been regularly buying coffee from them. The muffins are a standout as well and feel like a treat in the mornings, but not sure they make them onsite.

The staff are always personable and the coffee consistently good. Despite the fact the weekday mornings are very busy, the staff remain friendly and efficient.
