Went on a little pie crawl and our first stop was Muzza's (Gourmet) Pies in Coorparoo. Their best sellers are reportedly the various chunky steak options, but we were also recommended the chicken, brie & asparagus pie ($6), and that's what we went with. The boy wanted a party pie ($2) so we got one

First time @ Muzza’s & definitely will be back. We had the chicken Brie & asparagus pie and the beef chilli & cheese. Loved the chicken pie for its actual gravy rather than mornay & the Brie really comes thru.

Good pies seem to be really hard to find in Brisbane but the pastry used here is fabulously flaky. Not being local we visited Muzza's for lunch today. I had a ham and salad roll which was very nice, the coleslaw was a pleasant surprise. My husband had a chunky beef and mushroom pie. He said the pastry was lovely and the filling was really tasty. The guy that served us was friendly. Definitel
