Though the range was a little limited the prices were definitely more reflective to market accurate as another Cafe not even 300m away which was double...
All in all a fantastic experience with prompt service and great prices.

Visited Brisbane with friends looking for a nice breakfast. Toast overcooked. Speciality tea was a tea bag. Mushrooms were horrible. Used too much mixed herbs and pepper totally overpowering the mushroom taste, could not eat, grilled tomato cold. Tried to over charge. Menu price different to actual charge price. The only good thing, my friend enjoyed her coffee. Would not revisit.

Amazing coffee, Ethiopian filter was one of the best I've had. Menu had many exciting options and the breakfast was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting Brisbane!

We chanced upon this cafe after Grace's swimming class back in early January when most cafes are still having their holiday. While Mr finds a parking spot, I ordered 'The Butcher's Block' for him, and a ham and cheese croissant for Grace. I was interested in their Matcha Latte ($5.50) which is made of coconut milk with sprinkles of cinnamon. It is definitely not the usual matcha latte that I had previously, this one more chai based... and I thought it was okay. Certainly much prefer the usual matcha latte.

Explored this cafe last Monday. Love the vibe that is full of professionalism on serving coffee, which reflects on the very well presented flat with considerable depth of flavour. Besides the beverage, the banana bread did not let me down too. Carefully warm up banana bread, which was full of nice aroma and good texture. Needless to say that it definitely won my appreciation. Highly recommended.

I went to Two Black Birds today as I was running late for an appointment and I didn’t have time to go to my fav coffee shop. I don’t usually go to Two Black Birds as it is expensive and I’m yet to have a good coffee from them. So today, not only did I pay too much for a bad coffee, they also filled a number of orders that came in after mine, before making my latte. I had to chase it up with a staff member to get my drink (over 10 minute wait), and was consequently late for my appointment. Never again.

It's a shame I am not in the area more often. because I absolutely love this cafe. The coffee is always nice as is the food. Most notable however is the welcoming and friendly environment created by the lovely staff. They always have a warm hello and genuine smile. I enjoy the decor too and in general find it a comfortable place to sit with a book and my morning coffee. The food cabinet always looks fresh and inviting.

This place was recommended to me by a close friend so was expecting perfection. I was very impressed by the menu which included a coffee sampling plate for around $11 (from memory) I had already placed my order before noticing this which was disappointing. (next time for sure) My flat white came out lacking strength so I returned it & received an almost perfect replacement by the very courteous barista. The coffee is very smooth & was well presented & I loved the look of the desert cabinet especially the white chocolate & strawberry muffin (there was only one left, so they must have been as good as they looked!)

You know a cafe is great when you can sit down for 5 hours and not want to leave. Laptop out, getting work done, great coffee - even better food (green eggs and Sam - a must try!!!!) beautiful location with a wonderful vibe. Staff are friendly, attentive and courteous. Now my new local whenever I'm in the City - and my go to meeting place :)

Prompt service on a sleepy Monday morning when I was there. The staff were smiling and the coffee aroma was irresistible. My delicious breakfast of 'green eggs and sam' (the hollandaise sauce is green - not the eggs) was over all too soon.

Love this place. It is my little refuge from the world of work that i visit daily, (ok sometimes more than once!). Sam, Brendon and staff treat you like an old friend. Their coffee is excellent, the food is fresh and handmade on premises and there is great vibe. And heck why would you not support them with this story: Sam just opened in the same spot his mum ran a cafe 15 years ago. Grandma often makes the sweets.

Amazing food and great coffee👌 very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff to greet you! I had the green eggs and sam which was beautiful. Served on punpkin seeded bread with pan fried mushrooms and a hollandaise sauce. I had a double shot flat white to match. The coffee was smooth and presented well with a perfect rosetta . Easily my favourite cafe in the CBD and being so close to both central station and my office makes its super convenient.<br/>I love the coffee here and being guided through & trying the different blends on offer.<br/>Sam and the team are super welcoming and have put together a cosy and chilled environment where I could comfortable hang out for hours.<br/>After recently having the Rueben sandwich for lunch, I can’t wait to try all the items on the menu & don’t get me started on the delish looking cake cabinet 😃

Go check this cafe out before it's so busy you won't get a seat! These guys are only new but they have the goods, coffee that is some of the best in Brisbane - right up there with Melbourne, plus awesome Colombian inspired menu that compliments the Central American coffee. The menu is simple, only 7 items on the menu but I have been twice; once to try their Smashed avo (on organic rye with fresh sweet peas, sheep's feta and pumpkin seed oil- seriously yum) and again to try their 'green eggs & sam' the signature dish of owner Sam. It's served with organic pumpkin pepita bread, fennel mushrooms, halloumi, poached eggs and a secret green hollandaise sauce that hits the spot. Branden is just simply a coffee wizard behind the machine and is always up for a bit of banter. Definitely makes my morning coffee break something special. I recommend taking people for morning tea as there's usually a line out the door at 9am and again at 12:30 for lunch. Time it right and you'll find a quiet oasis in the heart of the city with exceptional coffee and great attentive staff.

About time Spring Hill got a serious specialty coffee shop! Their house blend is super smooth but their Single Origins on rotation are next level. Tried their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe on the 'Kanye' tasting board (like a beer flight for coffee) and it was amazing. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff with a cool fit-out and brew bar make this little hidden secret spot my new favourite place in the CBD. Do yourself a favour and check them out!

Honestly the best coffee I have ever had in Brisbane! They roast their own beans and it's amazing. The cake I had was incredible too, and they make all their treats at home... Nothing generic and store bought like other places. Can't recommend highly enough!
