Staff is very nice and welcoming, feel very comfortable as soon as you walk in. Chicken katsu don is very crispy and tasty. Very generous serving size. Sushi a tad too expensive but is still very tasty.
Went to this Japanese eatery at Rochdale for dinner two weeks ago. It was unexpectedly busy (full house). There were at least four to five staff running the show behind the counter and our seats were so close to the counter that we could see lots of people approaching the counter to place dine-in or take-away orders. Overall production was good but slightly chaotic. Pastries of Gyoza and Meso soup were let down. Angry Crab Roll was average but the heroes were the Takoyaki and Teriyaki Tori Udon. There are definitely rooms to be improved, however it is worth to have a go because the price is quite reasonable.
This is the best thing about Rochedale! Small place with fresh made sushi - delicious! Our regular go to for takeaway. Friendly staff and great service.
Very little place but an authentic family style Japanese style restaurant. Not a fancy presentation but everything taste just good. Service is good price is very cheap. Considering the very convenient location and ease of parking , we will definitely return.
I have been to Japan many many times and am very picky with Japanese food, but I can say that Natsumi is one of the more authentic Japanese restaurants in Brisbane with actually a reasonable price. I recommend the yaki udon, katsudon, deep fried oysters and the sushi and sashimi. The price is very reasonable for the portion that you get. We come here at least once every fortnight. Highly recommended.

Wow a little place here in rochedale packing a lot of skills and flavors onto their dishes. Although the place looks a little shabby and wasn't expecting more than the standards norm sushi/takeaway foods, it surprised me with their attention to culinary detail. Each bite was enjoyable and packed with flavors, so delicious I forgot we sat outside due to lack of space within their small restaurant. Love this place and shall return shortly.
Love our local Japanese food. Our favourite local Japanese restaurant - our favourites are the Udon noodles, the twin prawn roll, sunrise roll and angry crab roll. Eat there at least every fortnight - love having great takeaway so close to home :)
BAD BAD ATTITUDE......... Been here many times no problem, Got take away the other night , there was a mix up on one of three meals ordered., when I pointed this out, A very angry man, started yelling and swearing and all in front of other customers including children, I was very annoyed and am still trying to understand that aggressive manner he attacked me, no more business from me and I will be sure to let all I know that live near by to STAY away.... YOU CAN NOT ACT OR TREAT PEOPLE IN THIS WAY IN AUSTRALIA ........ NONSENCE
A little gem, a local fav!. Natsumi has now become a local favourite! The staff are always polite and the food is always of quality. My favourites are the hand rolls and sashimi. They are always full of flavour, fresh and great value. Whenever we are around the area we always pop by.
We being a customer since they open and it is the best sushi in Brisbane so happy they opening a new shop at Belmont closer to us.
When I crave freshly made Sushi i come here - never disappoints.
You watch the chef make them behind the glass screen and witness the whole process - an art in itself. Also tried the dishes before and they are so good. Staff are very politely too. Thank you.

I really enjoyed this place.
Location: easy to find and the shop is easily accessible from carpark.
They've got an outside seating area if you're not wanting to be the already cozy setup they've got inside.
Very warm and welcoming vibes.

The Pokke Donburi is amazing! The topping and sauce goes together very well. The Katsu in the Curry is nice and crispy, love how they seperate the Curry and katsu- it prevents the katsu from becoming soggy. The Teriyaki Fried Udon is a little too sweet, but is still delicious~ The sushi rolls are made perfectly, highly recommend!
Amazing sushi! Always fresh. Very Friendly and helpful staff, would highly recommend this place. My personal favourites is the natsumi roll and salmon nigiri 🙌🏻
