Been meaning to try this place for ages, and finally had the opportunity to do so, after a doctor's appointment in the area.
Opted for take-away and bought Value Pack "B", as it had all of our favourites, Mongolian Lamb, Lemon Chicken, Beef w/ Cashew Nuts, BBQ Pork in Plum Sauce, and Special Fried Rice.
The food was ready in record time, and was still piping hot, when we got it home - several suburbs away
The only negative was with the rice, as I found it was slightly bland (for my liking), but I think that comes down to the brand and the style of rice, that they use.
Everything else was absolutely delicious, and we were very happy - dwelling on the fact, that we had enough left over, for work the following day.
Next we will be trying their "All You Can Eat Buffet", so we can sample more items, and update the review.
I meant to explore this restaurant for a long time and finally arranged to have dinner on last Thursday. Based on the information of advertisement on the local Chinese newspaper. I am quite familiar with their menus, particularly those "design for yourselves" family budget packages. We went in a group of three, so ordered the package for four (the menu offers packages for four, six, eight & ten people. We chose the Steamed Duck marinated in soya sauce, Steamed sole fish with mushroom & preserved vegetable, mushrooms with Chines cabbage and the Preserved Pickled Vegetables with chitterlings. Dishes came in very efficient. Actually dishes were average but I would not challenge the authenticity. Only $58.00 including four meals with free boiled rice and soup of the day. It is a bargain. Please balance these factors prior to any complaints. If the food is not good and lack of authenticity, you will not see so many Chinese having their dinners there, right?
Excellent food. Great balance. Prepared quickly. The only thing is that if you're planning to use the Entertainment Book, they only allow it for dine in. Totally recccomend.
