Review Super Combo - Brisbane

I have had burgers here for about 3 years. Eating on site and picking up orders (convenience of living close by). Great burgers, I usually get the Beet Down Aussie burger. The chips are awesome, nice and crunchy. I always find the service to be fast and friendly. Price is normal for burgers. Four for the burgers and make it a five as the chips are the best.

Great little burger joint. Popped by for a quick feed before a show at the Tivoli. Generous sized burgers, yummy caramel shake and fun street fighter theme. For some reason when we were there it was one girl by herself juggling orders at the counter, on the phone, and cooking. She was obviously stressed.

super quick wait times plus a nintendo game to play in the meantime. lady who served me was lovely. the burgers are so unique and delicious. and i know it’s a huge call but these could seriously be the best chips in the world… so well seasoned and SO CRUNCHY!!!!!! also copped a choc peanut butter milkshake and it was surprisingly delicious.

The best burgers and wings in Brisbane This video game themed burger joint in the Valley is amazing. I’ve dined here more times than I can count and the food (and the service) has always been great. My personal favourite is the ‘Round 2’ Burger - the only burgers I’ve been with a sheet of crispy Parmesan on it *drool* They also do some pretty wicked shakes and their chips deserve a special mention too, as they’re the crispiest, most delicious fries in town. Legit. Love these guys 5/5 for effort, product and service

I’m gluten free so whenever I try a burger I’m usually super disappointed, HOWEVER, from my first bite (which was just a random stop in because we had a voucher) I was absolutely obsessed. The bun is so good I was almost thought they’d made a mistake and given me a regular bun. I get the #2, the one with the Parmesan crop (revolutionary). I literally think about their burgers on average 3-4 times and week and it’s lucky we don’t live close. I swear by this place, if you’re gf and really missing that good old burger, go here and thank me later.

Probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been too. The staff are nice & friendly, and are well trained. The food is proper and filling, the fries alone is a good enough reason to visit. Their thickshakes are the best thickshakes I have ever had and they are so close so it is never a hassle to get there. My only complaint would be the time it takes to receive food, but I am a fairly patient person so it is alright and the pay-off is huge.

Our son has been asking us to come here for ages. Now I know why, the burgers and loaded fries are amazing. The staff are super friendly and the place looks immaculate in terms of cleanliness. Well done guys we will be back.

With the new eat club app offering us 40% off at Super Combo we thought we would drop in for some burgers.

I ordered the yoga flame and hubby got the round 1. We also ordered a beer each and shared some chips. Burgers took about 10 mins to come out which was just enough time to enjoy a stone and wood pacific ale and watch king street get busy for the lunch time rush. Unfortunately sitting outside also meant we were subjected to some pretty loud construction noise as there is still a fair bit of building going on in the area.

Hubby said his patty was delicious but there was a bit too much sauce on his burger which kind of overtook the flavor. I had a similar issue. The corn hash patty on the yoga flame burger was juicy and flavorsome on the inside and crisped up on the outside but due to the amount of sauce it kind of made it difficult to taste anything else. We both tried to remove as much sauce and we could and our burgers transformed. Chips were perfectly salted and crispy.

Total bill with our eat club discount was $26 so it was great value. Would like to come back and try again and maybe ask for less sauce next time!

Value 10/10
Ambience 7/10
Food 7/10
Service 10/10
Delicious dinner at Super Combo tonight! Tuesday night chicken is a great deal (chickens succulent and seasoned well) and the burgers are classics done right. Nice chips with good seasoning (looking forward to trying the loaded kind!) Plus the highlight was really the coleslaw, for people that have tried it at a lot of places Super Combo does it right (not watery at all) Great selection of sauces and drinks. Shakes are glorious!! Salted Caramel and Pretzel was delicious; warning they’re seriously thick (which I see as a good thing) Last but definitely not least, their service is amazing! Friendliest and most assertive staff, cooked quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to come back.

Wow what a great concept. Play while you wait for your food. Until you wait and wait and wait. With one other customer there, a ridiculous 35 minute wait for three overcooked burgers was extremely disappointing. Very expensive for what you get burgers with chips and drinks at $70+ odd. Thought maybe it was just me but my missus was not impressed either. As they say the burgers sre better (and way cheaper) at Hungry Jacks.

A very cool little burger outlet with a street fighter theme. Service was good. I had the special, aussie burger, and was very impressed. The patty was juciy with a little charring on the outside. Nice sauce to tie it all together. The bun does hold well but it is a little thicker and dense for my personal preference. Price is maybe a little on the high side.

I was welcomed to friendly and helpful staff, the store is bright and inviting in a nice new area. I ordered the sonic boom and super fries, both my burger fries were the perfect combination of flavour and crunch. It was great to get a takeaway meal that doesn't leave you feeling sluggish and isn't filled with oil. Huge portions, great flavours and wonderful staff for a reasonable price.

Ordered through Deliveroo the order was mixed. The crispy chicken burger I would order again, the slaw was way too heavy on the dressing and the beef burger was disappointing. The loaded fries were mixed and I wonder if they would have been better freshly eaten in store

With my usual cheat day companion (despite the fact that I am a gym abstainer) off climbing mountains overseas, I was left to my own devices to determine my own fate (for lunch that one Thursday anyway). Wanting to keep up the tradition, I pulled out my phone to look for some inspiration that dreary day, and was shortly drawn in by the aesthetically pleasing burgers at Super Combo, which would satisfy my fast food craving whilst tickling my gamer side with their themed buns.

The salted caramel shake is a must. The rest of this review is useless. They really need to lower the minimum character count. Eat at super combo

Had the Sonic Boom and the cookies n cream super milkshake. The burger was absolutely delicious and enjoyed every bit of it. The shake was made with Oreos and was also just as good.

Crunchy chips - burgers you can't get anywhere else. I'm impressed with their creative menu and can't wait to try all of the delicious burgers. My favourite is the Spinning Piledriver!

Unique concept but disappointing meal. Cool idea with the hot sauce bar. The only thing I enjoyed was the milk shake. The burger patty was overcooked and had to be drenched in sauce. Also waited 15 minutes for the shake and they weren't even that busy, then found out the shake was was actually sitting on the counter but they never let us know and we were literally sitting right in front of the counter. The side salad was purely iceberg lettuce with a few bits of bacon and spring onions and way under dressed. Won't be returning.

I had the fried chicken burger and choc peanut butter super shake. The burger was great and above average for a burger shop, a great combination of tastes. The super shake was amazing, a good size and flavour!

Good food, amazing decor, good service and the sauce wall is anyone's wet dream. Definitely get it go as there isn't much seating around the place.

So last weekend was the grand opening of Super Combo and they had an amazing $3 Burger special!!! Of course half of Brisbane was there!!! On arrival the line was all the way out to the corner but we persisted and waited in line to check out this funky and hip looking joint! Today's burger was the Hadoken, accompanied by some fully loaded fries and washed down with a vanilla shake! Maybe because they were making a million burgers that day that I didn't find anything exceptional but the $3 pricing. The fries had this amazing light chilli sauce on it and the shake was smooth and went down in seconds. You must give it a crack, they have put lots of thought and effort in setting up this funky shop!!!

You know when you eat something and a few days later you find yourself thinking "man, I sure can smash another one of those right now"... well this is one of those places that has you craving their burgers. Their patties are juicy, they have exciting burger combinations, their sauces are house made incl smokey mushroom and pineapple chutney, their buns are deliciously soft yet well toasted, and omg their fries... seriously, the best chips in Brisbane. Quirky shop with hipster vibe. Love it!
