Fish hard to find good fish shops I love a great burger and chips .
The fish & chips here were very good. We ordered the batter & chips well done & we were very happy with the golden crunchy results. Chips were not greasy & the cod was moist & succulent
We've gotten burgers, fish and chips from Cod Father since moving into the area 4years ago and have never been disappointed. Whilst slightly more expensive than other places, it's definitely well with it. Highly recommend.
I’ve been getting Fish & Chips here for 20+ years. I’ve never had a bad meal. The grilled fish is amazing & the chips are by far the best ever. The burgers are also fantastic
Pretty good fish and chip shop, can get really busy at times but they have he staff to cope and get the orders out in a reasonable time. I’ve given a higher score based on speed of service rather than food.
They have a great crumb and batter option, super tasty and light.
Just wish the fillets we ordered were a little fresher. The fish inside the great crumb was vanilla and had no flavour, maybe frozen imported stock. Chips and scallops were a highlight of the meal. Squid was nice also.
The scallops and fish I had were well seasoned - not too salty, not too floury. Does the job pretty damn well, and I stuffed my face like a madwoman...
HA! Love the name and although fish and chisp are their specialty we grabbed a copy of takeaway burgers. Nice staff and tasty burgers. Seems to be popular with the locals.
Awesome,. I loved it. Its renovated now and its beautiful as new. I go here almost like every day. I hope new people come in and taste the food. the staff are soo kind and its soo yummy. Never a bad crumb. I love codfather and cant wait for new experiences. !!!!!
Fantastic fish and wonderful, friendly staff. The fish always tastes great and the food is always perfectly cooked and never greasy. Best fish and chipper in the area.
I had fish and chips with a side of calamari. By default, they serve crumbed fish unless you ask for battered. I only read the sign after I put my order in so it was too late to change my order. I was a bit disappointed because I was looking forward to the batter. I still enjoyed my meal though and I'd go back again. Reasonably priced, nicely cooked and good portion sizes. Tasted fresh and healthy.
Great quality fish and chips every time. Despite shifting a number of times we always make a trips back here for the great quality and service.
I love hamburgers with Beetroot and Fish & Chip shops make them the best The food at The Cod Father is great and I will be going back there repeatedly
Great solid fish and chips, really fresh fish I always get it battered and usually pick sweet lip or snapper. They also do a great pineapple fritter with cinnamon (they pack separately). It’s quality fish and chips cooked fresh to order.
Classic fish and chips with quick service and decent fish and chips for a very fair price. Also their burgers are solid for the price, make sure you ask to add bacon and extra sauce!
Ask for chicken salt and its even better. Also it seems like a local family business which I'm more than happy to support. Thanks everyone at the Cod Father you're amazing and I love your food. All the best to you all :)

I love the Cod Father. Great, old fashioned prices, excellent fresh fish, delicious chips and the potato scallops are always oversized. My husband ordered a steak burger this week and he said it was great. We have ordered take away from here many times and are very happy with the service, quality and price.
The staff are also always polite on the phone and our order is ready, hot and waiting when we arrive. Always ready within 20 minutes for pickup, often earlier. I couldn't be happier and will miss it when we move.
