We tried Aspley Oriental Restaurant for yum cha for the first time on Sunday and really enjoyed it. The food is very good, excellent flavours and very friendly service and staff. We had about 10 different dishes, there is a great range to choose from the the quality is very good. Would highly recommend this place for lovers of yum cha.
I've ate here 4 times in the past week for the yumcha 😂 It's put a real strain on my wallet paying 60-80 a meal but I really can't help myself!!
I just love it and it's the only Yum Cha on the north side I can think of :) They also have a non Yum Cha menu but I havnt gotten anything from that so I can't comment. It runs to 3 in the arvo I wish they did it for dinner too!
As stated by other reviewers it can get a little busy but that doesn't stop me :).
- I forgot to mention they gave us a free custard egg tart to take home because we had ate there so much I thought it was a lovely gesture :) very nice!
Best yum cha on the northside!! There's so much variety and the flavour combos are great. Always been served reasonably quickly too even tho they are super busy everytime we've been (obviously because its so good!)
Love the yum cha here if you never have been you have to go it's incredible!! It's a bit expensive but it's a treat and it's well worth it me and my mum come here for special occasions!
Totally satisfied my craving for cheap and cheerful...I'll be back for some more of this delicious food! I can vouch for the Singapore Noodles, Vegetarian spring rolls and quail! Thanks chefs!
You guys rock! At first I was a little unimpressed with the level of service, however thankfully this was a once off occurrence! I have been here multiple times since and the guys remember me, warm welcomings, beautiful food and exceptional value for money! What's not to love!?
Yum Cha Sunday mornings are great here! Excellent service, delicious dim sum and always an amazing atmosphere! Be sure to book or you can be waiting for awhile
Went here a few weekends ago with a family group of 5 adults, 1 teenager and 2 children. We got in about 30 minutes after opening time and were seated immediately and hadn't even managed to get seated before we were being offered food and drinks. We sampled dozens of different offerings from the trolleys as they came around and they were all lovely, dumplings, dimsum, fried wonders, chicken feet and my all time favourite - prawn wrapped in bean curd. Their jasmine tea was the most fragrant and lovely one that I have ever had the pleasure of drinking and the price averaged out at $15 a head. We will be back!
Love the yumcha and have dined here 5 times now with friends and for business lunches. The service is good and there is a huge selection of delicious food. My favourites would be the fried squid tentacles, Pork buns, fried chicken dumplings and the heavenly red bean sesame balls.
Best Chinese I've found in Brisbane thus far frequented multiple times and never been disappointed with the service or food produced and they always give free prawn crackers with every order!
