love the food. love the service. Highly recommend
Have not been back for a long time so explored it again. Ordered the signature Wanton noodle soup to take away. I am lucky that my practice located just next door so I can bring the noodle soup with the bowl back to my office to enjoy the lunch.
Wanton portion is still very generous, they came with the size of a Ping Pong. Proportion of the pork, prawn and fish roes are balanced. Texture of noodles remains al dente (maybe they was not served in a take away container). Soup base is rich in flavour as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with this lunch.

This is my go to place for cha jiang noodles and wontons. Delicious! The serving portions are huge. There are Chinese style drinks eg. Long and dates, barley, soy etc. in the fridge in front of the order counter if you like those sorts of drinks.

This place is a bit like the twin towers in the sense there are two “Zen” branded restaurants separated by the entrance way.
The wonton and noodle soup is amazing. You can taste the prawns in the wontons, and the soup base is really well balanced. Maybe it’s the promotional videos that are on loop advertising the making and glowing reviews of the wonton soup, but I genuinely think it’s some of the best in Brisbane.
As we were still hungry post our Mos Burger lunch meal, we made our way to @zencorner and shared a large bowl of wanton noodles. It came with 6 huge wantons (seriously the biggest I’ve had) and surprisingly pretty darn good. It was filled with pork mince, caviar/roe and a small prawn. It was plump and flavourful. The noodles quite al dente and the soup wasn’t too bad. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! Their spring onion pancake was quite good too.

Went and ate their lunch options. Ordered a sizzling salmon, sizzling beef, and braised pork. The sizzling plates had really good sauce to accompany the rice and meat. The braised pork was perfectly tender and sweet. The beef was also tender, but slightly lacked flavour
Would come back
Zen corner definitely has the best wontons, filled with pork, caviar and prawns. I usually order the large wonton noodle soup and the portions have never failed to meet my expectations either. The noodles are also so good in combination with the wontons and broth.
My friend and I had the hot and spicy pork intestine noodle soup (麻辣肥腸面) and pork mince noodle with soy bean paste (炸醬麵) here the other day and actually really enjoyed the experience. To be honest, I thought that the hot and spicy pork intestine noodle soup would be the hot and sour clear noodle soup (酸辣粉) with some pork intestine in it, but it was made with handmade flour noodles instead. The spice levels were actually Chinese-level spicy, with chillies and hot chilli oil as you would expect. For $12-$13 per bowl, the food here is actually incredible and so worth it. Will be coming back for sure to try the other menu items.
After doing grocery shopping in Sunnybank i felt so hungry, there are so many options for you when in Sunnybank. it was hard for me to choose the good one so i decided to stop by my old time favorite wanton shop🤣 it’s a safe choice actually hehehehe
When this place first opened the wonton soup was so delicious it’s now a regular place for me. There aren’t many great wonton noodle places around and this place is up there. The wontons are filled with pork, salmon roe and prawns. The only thing is recently they have gone down in filling size which is my only criticism. Nevertheless I still go when I have a wonton craving!
