Decent coffee, but not worth terrible customer service! I went there for a number of years (I’m a local), some staff were lovely but the owner was always so unfriendly and it almost seemed like an inconvenience to be ordering from them.
The last time I was in there, the owner was arguing with another staff member at the counter as I arrived. There were no pleasantries; no greeting; the whole interaction was very cold. The two continued to argue over my order as the male staff member couldn’t work the computer and she had to help him. It was very awkward.
I waited for my juice and coffees and the arguing continued. The juice came out of the kitchen eventually by another staff member who also didn’t bother to say anything, just almost dumped my order on the counter and turned around and walked off. As he was walking off he then got snapped at by the owner. I felt SO uncomfortable by the time I left it definitely wasn’t worth the hefty price tag that came with it.
I interacted with three staff that morning and not one of them were friendly, let alone said “hello/goodbye/thank you”. I wish this was an isolated experience but unfortunately I’ve experienced this lack of service one too many times here. I won’t be back!

Was ok. Food and drinks were delicious and fresh. Clean tidy venue laid out nicely for a small space. Menu is simple and great for fast prep however pricing is too high, like supermarket ingredients done nicely but needs to be cheaper. Lady behind the counter wasn't having a great day unfortunately, was a bit sour. It's a local spot but won't return as many other better priced options exist.

Disclaimer: I wasn't a customer.
My partner and I were looking for a place to sit and the outside of the shop was completely empty. We were rudely told to order something or leave. Now I understand some people reading this will feel it's completely justified, however why a cafe, that probably relies on locals, would risk hundreds if not thousands of dollars in potential revenue to ask us to leave their otherwise empty venue is beyond me. We were simply sitting outside on the chairs, and not impeding their operations of business.
Being a frequent visitor of the area I will ensure this cafe never enjoys the patronage of myself or those in my company.

This is always my go to local coffee place. They get the order just right and the coffee tastes amazing.
Really like the little gluten free treats in the chill fridge at the front too :)

Amazing little cafe… staff is always accommodating and the service is fast. Must try their coffee always on point & the best I’ve found in Gumdale!

Things I like about the cafe:
Good and convenient location in local shopping centre, plenty of carparks, indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service, coffee ok, cake medium ok, nice comfy interior.
Things I didn’t overly enjoy:
The food: we ordered the super health kick salad, a quinoa salad, a piece of cake and two cappuccinos. Although it said on the menu there were no goji berries in my salad and the tiny avo didn’t really count as ingredient. The dressing tasted like a cheap supermarket product, not homemade I would assume. Both salads were a bit average which is said as we mainly order salads in cafes and this one is close to us. I‘d recommend to upgrade the salad selection to create more value.

My first visit , no welcome from the moody lady serving , the guy behind the counter just glanced up and ignored me … I did get a “thanks” after …
At least try some eye contact … I couldn’t have felt more unwelcome

As a local I have really try to give this cafe a go but I just can’t get past the lack of quality customer Service from all the females I have encountered here, no smiles, no friendly welcome, no “how can I help you today” and the other day I didn’t even get a Hi! The girl just stood at the register looking at me, I said “How are you today?” She responded with “Good!” And that was it, no other response from her, she just stood there waiting for me to speak, there was no “Good thank you, or how can I help you today?” NOTHING!
Troy on the other hand is the complete opposite, I have always received spectacular service from him, pity he can’t be at the counter all the time, Always friendly, always smiling and welcoming, but the girls make no effort whatsoever, It’s Sad really as I would be here more frequently, I’ll return as it’s convenient.
Aside from that, the cafe is nice, I’ve eaten there a few times with varied results, I was disappointed with their Breakfast, it was very boring, I should have made my own especially for the price they asked, however I’ve had a couple of really yummy lunches here and their juices are pretty good if you don’t mind forking out for them. Coffee is hit and miss, more times than not it’s good but I’d rather go elsewhere if I can’t get the service.

A really interesting menu selection. Everything I have had here has been tasty. Coffee is good. Every time I have been here the place is busy, but the staff generally can keep up and are lovely.

Came here for breakfast, got the coriander and corn fritter.... so delicious! Coffee was yummy and Hydrator juice was amazing! Will definitely be back!!
Satiety Society
This place gets really busy with the after school rush. We waited a while for our juices today but they were brought to our table with a smile and were delicious. There are also lots of yummy sweet treats in the cabinet but this place is restricted to coffee, juice and cake. Still, that is often all I want from a cafe. Beware the four areas in the lid that can collect juice. Mine was served full of juice and when I picked the drink up to take a sip I must have tipped it slightly and wore the juice from the lid.
The Pretend Foodie
Had breakfast and fresh juice. Friendly and prompt service even though they were busy. The juice was delicious! Corn fritters and bacon & eggs were so yummy! Prices and portion sizes excellent. Nice atmosphere, clean and tidy. This is what a good cafe should be like! Recommend it!

Been a few times to juice jar..very modern decor. ample parking.
price is reasonable thought food lacks presentation and some staff lack good customer service..
really need to improve.
a good cafe makes you want to come back unfortunately for me this one doesn't.

Ups and downs. Best feature: A very modern, trendy menu, with great superfoods and smoothies!
Coffee is generally good, but I have had a few experiences where they did not cater for my requests.
The staff are friendly, but they do need to step it up a little in order to build up customer loyalty.
Atmosphere is great, but some soft music would make it a lot better!
It's a new cafe, so I guess these things will eventually come with practice :)

Great little gem in the suburbs. Great little cafe in the suburbs that has just opened. The breakfasts are simply superb and the coffee is tasty. The cafe has quite an impressive menu of 'healthy choice' options and that includes very delicious raw treats. Cold pressed juices are another little surprise and very tasty. The only downside would be the waiting times and although the staff are friendly there does seem to be a little wait. overall, a great little find in the suburbs. will be back!
