The wide noode here is very tasted. The traditional Chunese noodle had two categories: Lamian noodles and widr one. If u love Lamian, you should give wide noodle a try
Amazing noodlesMy husband and I tried the Special Cumin Lamb and the Sichuan Dandan (Dry) with the big flat noodles. The noodles were frighteningly delicious - fresh (we watched the owner making them) and chewy. We just thought that the sauces were a little lacking in flavour and there could have been a little more meat. Thankfully there are bottles of soy sauce and vinegar and tubs of chilli oil on each table so you can adjust the flavour to suit your taste!

The interior of the resaturant was a bit questionable. Cash only, with a fast food type feel. I side-eyed the plastic take-away containers sitting on the tables full of chilli oil (but that didn't stop me from scooping plenty onto my noodles). There were also periodic bursts of someone loudly banging something against the benchtop. Maybe they were flattening the noodles...?
The noodles themselves were very interesting. I got the eponymous biang biang noodles, and was given the choice of regular or flat noodles. I went with flat, since that's what they're known for. I was not disappointed. These noodles were extremely wide - probably a bit thicker than I would've liked though.
The texture and flavour of the noodles was quite different to the ones I'm used to, similar to the korean dish "sujebi", where the dough bits are made of just water and flour. I was also surprised at the toppings that these noodles came with - cooked tomato, potato, scrambled eggs and salad-style leafy greens is definitely a combination I haven't seen before. There was very minimal broth (we weren't even given spoons) that I managed to somehow mop up the majority of with my noodles. It wasn't too salty, with a kind of mild soy sauce flavour. I probably would've liked something with a bit more of a kick (hence my overloading of chilli oil) but I should probably eat less salty food more often.
Overall, enjoyed the unique noodles, and will be looking to come back to try the other dishes, especially since it's conveniently located right outside Toowong station (and across the road from Heeretea).
Really nice hand made noodles, the place is not exaxtly the cleanest but that is also how a handmade chinese authentic noodle place should be. Highly recommend it.

I’ve ordered the scrambled egg and tomato with thick noodles . The noodles are really chewy . The portion was a little big for me but I did finish all . Adding a little chilli oil to it makes it much nicer with a little spiciness to it 💖

I enjoyed it, nice aromas. Could do with more mince and more flavour but overall is yummy. The egg was tasty! The biang biang noodle itself can be inconsistent as it depends who is making it on the day sometimes its thick sometimes its nice and thin. Just dont like how kitchen looks dirty. Otherwise its good.
Love the chewy QQ noodles! Really enjoyed watching the chefs pulling the noodles right in front of us. Serving size was decent and the chill sauce complemented the noodles REALLY well. I think I would be coming back here every week after classes! There is free parking across the restaurant at Toowong Village.
It is often the small, hidden places that create the best food and Biang Biang Noodles can attest to that.
I ordered the Sichuan Dan Dan noodle and my friend got the Special Cumin Lamb noodle and it was a delight. The noodles were hot, wide, chewy and nicely coated in the sauce, I added some vinegar and it just elevated the flavour. The bits of pork mince were a bit small but each piece was like a little treasure when eaten. The egg was a nice touch. Each mouthful was a bite of heaven!!
I am sure that most people would criticise the restaurant for its non “instagrammable” interiors, but I would advise people who choose to eat there to look past the lack of decor. It really is the quality of the food and taste that truly matters - and this place is simply great. Enjoy 😊

I am now addicted to Biang Biang and have manage to hunt it down in other states and London on travels but nothing compares to Biang Biang Toowong.
I loved this little restaurant. The customer service was soo lovely. They gave great suggestions for my kids. Love love how fresh their noodles are. Also loved how thick it was too. It's also conveniently located right across the shopping centre so very easy to get to. The sichuan dandan noodles was a winner for me.
Third time lucky and I manage to get a table today at 1.30pm after the lunchtime rush. Reviewers seem to fancy No.3 on the menu so I hand over $11.50 and take a seat. I watch the Chef roll out my noodles from the pre-kneaded dough.
A short wait and my medium 🌶🌶 heat Sichuan Dan Dan Noodles arrive on the table. These noodles are soo wide and I love the chewy texture. I see chilli oil, mince pork and half a hard boiled egg! The seasoning is not overpowering and I enjoy this chewy lunch. I will return for No.7, the Cumin Lamb Noodle.
Fresh, hand pulled noodles. Texture firm and chewy - that QQ texture. Perfect. Small menu but delicious! I recommend having them dry.
Added bonus watching them hand pull the noodles and heading the slap of the dough hitting the surface.
Biang Biang Fresh Noodle is a tiny little store in Toowong but boy do they make delicious noodles. The dish I had (#3) was so spicy, full of flavour and the noodles were to die for - thick, chewy and so so yum. The egg was also delicious. I can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. Oh and as a bonus, it’s super inexpensive too! Such a gem!
This place is pretty delicious and cheap. The main attraction are the handmade noodles (thick & thin) and they are perfectly chewy, tasteful and tender all at once. But be mindful that because this place boast its handmade noodles as the signature of the restaurant, you don’t get much of anything else like meat or vegetables. What you get is the full flavour of the excellent handmade noodles paired with whatever sauce flavour of your picking. Although the owner recommended the thin noodles, I really really enjoyed the thicker noodles as they were chewier and denser. The design of this place though, the authenticity is real, it really reminds me of the hundreds of takeaway stores I’d find when I strolled down random back allies when I was travelling Asia haha
