Have not been back for over eight months so checked it out last night. It was not a busy night at the peak of 7:00pm.
We changed our usual order of steak and placed orders for Black pepper crispy chicken wings, Zha Cai Beef Congee and Salt and Pepper Pork with iced and hot lemon pomelo honey drinks.
This time both food and beverage were good. Chicken wings like what you have in Nagoya of Japan. Crispy with subtle taste of black pepper and honey 5/5. Congee is good to have the saltiness from the Zha Cai and the raw egg makes the texture of congee very silky 4.5/5. Salt and pepper pork was not dry enough but taste was balanced 4/5. Not a bad dining experience because service has been improved a lot.

Peanut butter french toast, topped with butter and condensed milk... how do you start your day? 😋. I think I can get used to the Hong Kong breakfast, including the interesting macaroni soup.⠀. Can’t go wrong with a nice and simple menu. ✔️ Ham MacaroniEspresso’s pick.Yes, its literally macaroni pasta with ham slices on top.It taste’s as you think the two would separately.Strange to me, but it’s a classic HK breakfast dish.
3 dishes shared between 3 people and the portion was just right!!!! rly enjoyed the meal
+ the vibe of the place. it was clean, food came rly fast (and we were STARVING) HAHAHA. 10% off if you have the Borneo Student Association card!!!!! so we only paid arnd $15 per person which is rly rly rly not bad for australia’s standards.
we got the beef brisket wanton noodle!! 8/10 cos it rly rly rly felt like home and the beef brisket was v well cooked, soft yet tasty and the wanton was big + had an actual prawn inside!!!!! rly not bad. v generous with the soup too! egg noodle was cooked well and had a nice texture. however, the soup couldve been a teeensy bit tastier. but again, it was good that it wasnt too salty.
felt like we were in hong kong / taiwan im so happy ☺️
Great food for excellent value!!! Love the place!! The baked spaghetti and rice is always a favorite, and the Yin Yang fried rice are awesome dishes
The presentation is top notch and the flavours are worthy of my tastebuds. It was dispatched with haste, but the flavours were so powerful it inspired me to wake up from my coma, which I apparently have been in for 4 years.
5 stars, 10/10, 100%.
They r my fav Cha Chaan Teng/ hong kongese restaurant in the town!!!!!!!!!!!!!- better than woka woka 1000000000 times. I love this restaurant so much, I love the foods and staffs here. They r a quickservice restaurant 👍🏻reasonable price 👍🏻big portions👍🏻 I highly recommend their hanianese chicken rice n crispy roast pork!!!!! It won’t disappoint u🌟 they also provide a wide selection of food like Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, western n hknese food etc. The oyster omelette is just so so. Their baked cheese n pork rice is always good, but I perfect the version of normal one but not the afternoon tea one. It had a bit different.
After a long drive around deciding what to have for dinner, wife suggested we go to Warrigal square and look there. She remembered a nice little restaurant that we had been before. It had been a while since we had been here.
Was it was just after opening we were they first in, and had a pick of table. Nice modern decor, plenty of tables, and 2 big TVs to watch.
Quick look through the menu, and we had decided on food. I went special house beef brisket noodle soup with cold coffee tea combo. Wife went pork chop bake with rice and a lychee soda drink. Also a side of Korean fried chicken wings with spicey dipping sauce.
The drinks arrived first, the size is smaller than most other places, and this mix is ok(drinkable). Meals were quickly arriving after drinks.
The beef brisket was decent, nice balanced broth with nice fresh noodles. I just wished there was more noodles and less brisket, I ended up not finishing the beef. The chicken wings were ok, nothing to rave about.
Wife enjoyed her baked dish, it was a nice dinner.
The staff here are very nice, the restaurant covers a large variety of food which is very authentic, and most importantly is very delicious.
Food is very tasty and the service is fast. :) I always order the Sichuan fish fillet and the soup is quite nice!
Have been here few times and never regretted! 😊
Came here with hubby on Sunday for afternoon tea, order the bake cheese eel rice with tarayaki sauce, and ice lemon coke ! great value and good food! definitely will come again
