Chicken teriyaki don. If a Japanese restaurant can't get this right, run away. Thankfully Damotori have nailed it. Full of flavour, enough rice and wonderfully juicy. I will definitely be back for seconds.

An amazing Japanese restaurant where the service is excellent, the portion sizes large and the agedashi tofu and tempura are to die for!!! Such a nice place - highly recommend it!

It was the second visit of this hidden gem within two months last night. Had the voucher for four this time to have a 7 courses banquet. As usual the foods were spectacular with delicious taste and nice and friendly service. Those young staff passionately prepared the best of the best for us. I have to say that the tempura was consistently the best that I ever encountered. In addition, the Damotori salad was also the best of its kind, the same as the Wagyu and Eel skewers. Thanks to the chefs and the lovely waitress. Highly recommend you to try even though you are not fans of Japanese food.

Had a great dinner here. Ordered the large sashimi and sushi plates. Awesome fresh seafood. Was honestly surprised by the portion size. I though $80 was very reasonable for what we got. Sake and beers bumped the bill up but very much a positive experience.

What a beautiful food! This restaurant was so good. I got Wagyu beef skewers and Sushi it was so yummy. Oh I want to eating again now.. I think this restaurant going to be busy soon. You should visit this restaurant. I went to this restaurant with my boyfriend who is so satisfied. Bcuz also this restaurant mood was so good and kitchen looked so clean. Oh and I got good news they have event on this Sunday every lunch menu is only 10! What a good news ! I have to go on Sunday lunch I think also this lunch menu is so yummmmmm definitely.

When I was visited in this restaurant I had some Sashimi and Salad . It was so AWESOME cuz I have not eaten before like this Yummy food! And then The staff was so friendly They came my table and talked with me. Even though we are different country each other we can talked really fun. They made me so happy :) So I'm ganna back again on Saturday. I can't going to another restaurant from when I visited here.

Great little restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Food yummy. The Tofu and Seaweed Salad was delicious and the Tempura Eggplant divine! Not licensed yet just BYO but soon to be. Not very busy for Wednesday night and it's new but didn't matter as this restaurant has it's own ambience. Small but stylish. Definitely the wait staff and the kitchen staff contribute to its friendly neighborhood atmosphere. Perfect for the area. Will return. They have a cheap Sunday lunch option too $10 on some dishes. Great idea after that late Saturday night! Good job Damotori! Looks like from previous reviews you are going to get very busy!!

Excellent food and awesome service. Have been four times so far since finding it less than a month ago.  Have sampled a reasonable amount of the menu and have never been disappointed. If I had to pick a favourite it would be the sizzling dishes (have tried and loved both the beef and eel teriyaki) or the super fresh sashimi. Hard to believe with all the excellent reviews so far it only has a rating of 2.9. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Amazing food and super friendly service! Since finding out about this place a few weeks back we have been back AT LEAST twice a week since. We are slowly working our way through the menu but the Alaska roll is a must each time we visit. Highly recommend.

Amazing food! Casual settings and awesome people! A place you should you try out yourself. Offering a suggestion, chicken karage is a must! Fyi, Byo alcohol for the moment.

I love this place and have visited it at least twice a week since it opened just over a month ago. The staff are super friendly, the food fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is cozy. Their chicken karage and Alaska roll is my favourite but cannot fault anything on their menu (which we have now almost fully covered).
