Hidden little gem. Service was polite and friendly. Little bit of a wait but doesn't matter cos the coffee was great.
I regularly buy my morning coffee here as they serve coconut milk. It's best for takeaway as the space is a long hole in the wall. But you can grab a bench seat and read the newspaper. The food is prepared sandwiches, smashed avocado, freshly baked muffins and more.
I decided to give this cafe a try for my morning coffee today. Conveniently located near bus stops in Adelaide Street. Tiny hole in the wall shop with limited space for waiting or sitting. The staff are incredibly friendly and I really enjoyed my experience here. Food looked good and recently priced, although I didn't order any. Coffee wasn't the best I have had in the CBD - too milky for my liking - but I would still return for the good service and to try the food.

Is it a hallway or is it a coffee shop? It's both.
While the coffee shop itself might be small, Laced Espresso's coffees are big in flavour and expertly prepared.
Today I popped in for an Iced Latte, which was great - 4. Was offered free syrup shot in my coffee, but declined. If you are so inclined, you can also pay it forward and buy a stranger a cup of coffee...who knows when it might be you on the receiving end.
Lots of grab and go food options and a decent lunch menu priced between $5-$10.
Wouldn't hesitate to return or to recommend their coffee.
Laced Espresso is conveniently located on Adelaide street, near many white collar staff craving a good coffee. Laced appeals directly to the 18-30yo range by providing good coffee in a friendly young environment. Food could be improved, however coffee is top-notch.
Great coffee, great food and great staff.
All my colleague now getting coffee and food from here.
Laced Espresso Brisbane CBD. One of the CBD's most popular and touted places for a cup of coffee is also one of their most distinctly designed. It is along one of the busiest streets, in sight of the multiple bus stops and the entrance is merely the size of the doorway; to get in some might have to squeeze their shoulders in. Once upon a time it used to be right next door to a shoe shop, hence its name (maybe it is still there). Three stories tall, two of them belong to the cafe with one being seating and the entrance for takeaway orders.
It goes without saying for any coffee place, but there are certainly the regulars that come around - those that the barista knows their name from them just walking in the door. The service is friendly and quick, with the frills aspects of an order being asked during taking it down; I got a double shot cappuccino with some banana bread, toasted and infused with butter.
Their coffee is quite good, and I can see how they like it. Maybe it is not my absolute favourite from the CBD; I do prefer my coffee quite strong, however the bean was well-extracted and the flavour was certainly present. This would be a great go-to place for anyone working nearby. The banana bread was also pretty good.
After walking by here so many times, I do not know why I have not stopped by before. Check this one off the list.
Diana. Found this little place quite by accident on passing. Pleased I did because my coffee was great. Full bodied beautifully flavoured brew with good crema & made by a barista that obviously knows his job
Great coffee!. The city is overwhelmed with underwhelming cafes. Until I found Laced, I'd hate that I couldn't find a decent takeaway coffee. Love their brew, just wish they had longer trading hours.
Great coffee. Funky little spot. There is also an upstairs if you don't want to sit at the bench.
Nice coffee shop hidden away in Adelaide Street
BEST COFFEE SPOT IN BRISBANE! Can not fault this hidden gem. The staff are incredible people. The coffee and food are both perfectly delicious.

Great food, Fantastic Coffee, Brilliant Staff :) best place to go!
This little hole in the wall gets busy, but worth the wait for the avocado on sourdough served with a wedge of lemon on a mid-week morning.
Literally the best coffee in Brisbane City, I drink coffee from here every day. And the staff are so lovely too.
Great coffee, delish avo on sourdough and the best brownies in Brisbane City!
