Review Foodsmith - Brisbane

Come here if you're hungry! Big portions at cheap prices. And the food is good. Also, the ambiance is better than the others around West End. I'll definitely come back to try out the rest of their offers.

This new place opened just few weeks ago. The manager is very nice and the food specials are delicious. I mean for $8,90 you can get a big steak, Barramundi or Salmon. You will be more than satisfied. Highly recommended and budget friendly.

Amazing breakfast - service was even better. The owner is lovely. The size of the breakfast was superb. We had the Breakfast Feast and the Paleo Pork.. both of which was delicious:) thank you for having us! 🤘🏻

The atmosphere is nice, and the menu sounded lovely, I ordered the ribs with corn bread and Mac and cheese. The corn bread is the biggest let down because I miss it. It was not cornbread.. It was a Australian take on a recipe someone read. online. The ribs were even less authentic. The sauce was not complex and only sweet, the actual ribs were not fried or smoked but seemed to just be microwaved and then spread with the sauce. Sad that in 2018 Australia still cannot produce anything the USA does as well,or better.

Very cozy place that offers probably the best Balkans style food in Brisbane. Quality table service available (which I find very rare in QLD). Simply, a must see place in West End.

Very welcomed atmosphere, good choice of drinks & dishes. Sometimes very nice cakes. Highly recommended European style grilled meats.

Absolutely love this nice and cosy place. The food is fantastic and there are many Eastern European dishes that will blow your mind. A must try. Will be going there again shortly!!!

Nice atmosphere with lovely owners. New kind of food to try in Brisbane with options for vegetarians too. Would love to try the breakfasts next.

Hard to find good cevapi in brisbane but foodsmith came up with the goods. I love this Croatian/Serbian dish and they are hard to find in brisbane. Very please with my meal here.

Not 100% sure if this venue is still open but would recommend it to all.

This place is a must! The food is exactly as it was when I visited Serbia, really authentic and tasty. Be sure to try the Cevapi, Pljeskavica or Karadjordjeva Steak!

Delicious food and friendly, genuine service. I've had the cevapi several times and it's exactly like the cevapi in Croatia. The owner always goes out of his way to be friendly and to accommodate special requests.
Didn't try any of the food here however it looked ok by what I saw. I just had coffee & it was Aromas blend so a good flavor & strong with my double shot. Service is homely & sincere

I have been in Brisbane for 16 years and for the first time since my arrival I could eat cevapi like back home! Everyone must visit this place! 5 star food, 5 star service.

A nice change from the norm with waffles and chicken for a main. The chicken was crispy fried and the waffles smothered in maple syrup (or reasonable facsimile). The milkshake was homemade and a treat.

No plastic straws here. Foodsmith uses paper straws and wooden stir sticks for coffee.

This is what Brisbane has been waiting for for so long...amazing Balkan food! The Cevapi here are exactly like the ones I ate back home and you can tell that they’re home made. They don’t taste hard or flavourless and are very traditional. My partner had the OG burger and even though the description looks small, it’s so filling. I would definitely recommend this place and we’ll be back without a doubt.

Such a unique and vibrant new place!!! Tried the Chevapi & Karadjordje Schnitzel and I haven't had food that good since I was in Europe a few years ago. Absolutely perfect dishes, friendly and polite staff. This place has a some amazing Eastern European dishes which are a must try, your mind will be blown! The chef is authentic and you have to try his chicken with waffles/maple syrup and his awesome meat platter!!! OMG.
