Artsy Decor with cute little booths. Great Atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Great service. Staff actually look like they are having fun, they serve with a smile & give you a bit of cheekšš. They serve great cocktails š¹& have fun making them. Good choice of music š¶ with a variety each week. Good bite size food š¢if you want something small to eat or larger size meals if you want š„. Plenty of parking which is great. It's attached to a Sports bar etc., So you can move around to different areas. Pretty big venueš

Nice and steady after work drinks. Good selection of drinks, bar meals and did I say drinks... also a nice glass of iced water before leaving the venue... give it a go, you know you want to. Invite the family for dinner at Panama Jack's and let them drive you home š

Not to bad , great environment to come and have a drink and when you get hungry slip next door to the dining room for some nice food. Don't forget it's no longer The Rum Jungle it's a respectable place now where respectable clothes.

This is one of our regular spots for a quick easy meal on the weekends. I'm a huge fan of their hot & spicy chicken wings and they do a fantastic salmon steak. Drinks are well priced and it's a family friendly restaurant.

better rating than its restaurant - Panama jacks. Cheaper drink with more varieties. Various aussie craft beers and wines on tap. Great ambiance but could be lack of staff at times. in general, its awesome! just stay away from their restaurant and sports bar (gambling is silly)

Good food but had to wait for the meal for a while. Staff were helpful. Atmosphere is ok but hardly busy place for dinner. Usually come here for $12 chicken wings on Wednesdays. Good selections of common beer.

This is our local pub so we have been there a few times. Every time we have been there in the Phoenix bar or the main pub eating area there is always something that they have run out of in the menu that we have ordered. Would be understandable if it was at 8.30 but we are talking about 6.30 at night. It is frustrating to find out 5 minutes after we have ordered.

I very rarely venture to the northside of Brisbane. I grew up in Logan. A far way away from the northern suburbs. Even now, I still live on the south side. Yet, Nic and I found ourselves inĀ Bracken RidgeĀ about a month agoĀ as we were invited toĀ Phoenix Bar, the newest addition at Bracken Ridge Tavern. ItĀ is a revitalised and modern-looking lounge that aims to bring a bit of the inner city vibe into the suburbs. Bracken Ridge Tavern (BRT) is like many of the suburban taverns. Itās large and multi-purposed. From the gaming lounge to the sports bar, function rooms and casual family restaurant. BRT has been owned by the same family for over 30 years and is a firm favourite for locals. Phoenix Bar is a spacious area with ācagesā or booths. Thereās also a large ānestāĀ which holds up to 40 people. Itās open air with shelter, in place of air conditioning is a fan and regular sprays of cool mist! Fun! The decor is mostly dark and wooden adding to that cool, modern vibe. They have an impressive r

I grew up in Brisbaneās northern suburbs and I remember the Bracken Ridge Tavern being a āno go zoneā for a gentle man like myself.Ā Until recently there was a nightclub there called the āRum Jungleā, which said it all really.Ā Fortunately, there has been a complete remodelling of the Bracken Ridge Tavern (BRT) and Phoenix Bar is the sleek and stylish heart of the complex. Rather than go alone I invited my good friend Andrew, for extra muscle.Ā To my relief, no muscle was required.Ā We were both impressed by the decoration and layout of Phoenix, much like an inner city bar.Ā A large venue, there is a fairly open beer garden and bar, but just around the corner are some cosy quieter areas.Ā In addition to Phoenix, there is a family restaurant, sports bar, gaming area and a large bottle shop. Andrew and I sat at a t

We dined as invited guests of Phoenix BarĀ at Bracken Ridge Tavern, but my opinions are my own. For those of you on the north side, youāre lucky ā you now have theĀ Phoenix Bar at theĀ Bracken Ridge Tavern. This family owned and run business has been around 40 years and includes the Panama Jackās restaurant, Gloria Jeanās, sports bar, gaming room, function room and bottle shop ā each quite separate, yet part of the entertainment complex.
