Review La Grava - Brisbane

Me and my friends ordered breakfast here - it was at our table within 5 minutes. It was really quick and amazing. Perfectly done. It looked so good I tucked in before I remembered to take a picture! I ordered eggs Benedict with mushrooms and an iced latte - perfectly sweet the way I asked for. Friendly staff. My favourite breakfast cafe.

Very disappointed and sorry for suggesting the place to my friends. Food are far below average. I ordered Breakfast Brushetta. The diced tomato onion and cheese were flavourless. The pouch eggs was hard and most of the egg white were gone! The flavour of the whole dish was only from the drizzle vinegar at the bottom. My friend ordered burger, egg bene and Big breakfast. The burger steak was dry and the fries were hard. The scrambled eggs of the big breakfast was again, hard and dry. The bacon and sausage were salty. The color of the sauce of Egg Benedict have already told you how good was it…

Soo disappointing. Had the “Breakfast Bruschetta”. Menu mentions “a fresh mix of basil, onion and tomato” so I was expecting fresh basil. What came out was just diced tomato and onion with a bit of dried basil and some cheap Parmesan on toast (had the GF bread option, it usually comes with Turkish). Poached eggs were not runny. Everything lacked flavour. The GF bread was the most flavourful component on the plate and that’s saying something. My partner’s Vegan Big Breakfast was not quite as bad but very “meh”. The staff were very nice but the food was really quite terrible. Edible but not at all enjoyable. Note: my photo of the Breakfast Bruschetta is missing one forkful of the diced tomato and onion (because I ate a forkful before taking the pic). Apart from that, this an accurate photo of what arrived. So sad. 😔

Good to find a cafe with Campos coffee, but the $19 French toast with half ripe strawberries and hardly any maple syrup needed some butter on the toast - that's an extra $1 please - very underwhelming. ... Oh dear, I didn't realise this business only wanted customers of a certain "quality" - Good luck with that, ..being in the 'hospitality' industry.

Just a short visit inside La Grava on 28/01/22 for one delicious Cappuccino, excellent friendly service & reasonable prices from the menu board.

I had the Middle Eastern Chicken wrap and Orange Pekoe here. It was fantastic. The marinade on the chicken was too good. The cafe is cute and tidy. Loved my overall experience!

My husband and I took my mom out for breakfast, and decided to try the food at this gem of a cafe in Toowong! We were warmly greeted by the barista, who turned out to be the best at what he does. The coffee we had was superb!! Mom ordered their signature dish called La Grava Breakfast Tray, it’s more than enough for one person and was very very yummy (I had to steal a bite!). Hubby ordered eggs benedict and absolutely loved it. I ordered the avo smash with a side of grilled halloumi, which was divine! Thank you for the exceptional dining experience, everything was super delicious. We will be back soon :)

It’s a nice cafe in Toowong with outdoor and indoor tables. We tried only coffee there. They serve campos coffee which was nice. The staff are welcoming and attentive. It’s worth visiting. We should try their breakfast...

Nice and clean environment with friendly staff. Happy with the aromatic and smooth coffee-both the hot and cold ones. Limited on food options.
