Review Mrs Luu's - Brisbane

Heard good things but failed to deliver. Thick chunks of pork and the balance of the salad was wrong. Couldn’t taste any pickle, no daikon and barely a piece of coriander. Not for me.

Got there before the rush and was rewarded with friendly and fast service. One chicken, one beef bahn mi made to perfection. For $8.50 each, we found them well priced especially once we tasted them - so good! Only downside was the lack of parking availability. Well worth driving around for a bit to find a spot 😁 Photos below dont do it justice as the majority of the salad was below the delicious meat. Will be back for sure!

Mrs Luu's is one of my fave go-to places near my place. Always fresh and delicious and quick service. Their Deluxe Bun is my fave. If you do go to the restaurant, the parking is limited.

I regularly come here for a yummy cheap lunch. Fast and delicious!

Delicious and fresh pork roll. One of the best in Brisbane. Fast and efficient too. A little expensive but YOLO. Not much else in the area to eat regardless :)

We often buy take out rice paper rolls. Ordered them cut in half for a party once. Beautifully presented. Have tried most of their menu over the years. Always happy to come back. Parking can be tricky.

Wow! We were having flashbacks to our experience at Bahn Mi 25 in Hanoi... This is as close as we have ever come to that amazing eating experience. So fresh, and light crispy as air roll 🤤 Perfect

Excellent service. The best bahn mi in S.E. Qld. You simply have to eat here.

I really enjoyed my tofu rice bowl for lunch today. The tofu had lots of flavour and the onion and shallots were cooked well so quite sweet. Only complaint was that the tomato was unripe so didn’t have much flavour. It would have been nice with more vegetables to, maybe some broccoli or stir-fried cabbage. Still, I enjoyed it overall.
Update: I went back and ordered rice paper rolls. The prawn one was nice but the tofu one was disappointing. The rice paper hadn’t been soaked long enough and the tofu was also quite tough.

I have been to Mrs Luus for the last 14 business days. It was like love at first sight. Everyday when I wake up, it's the first thing on my mind.

Over the last 14 days, I have a tried a variety of what she has to offer. My favourites are definitely the banh mi. I have had all of the different types.

I started my banh mi journey with Mrs Luu with the Crispy Fried Chicken, I was hooked like a moth on a light for the first couple of days, until I discovered the side menu fried pork meat ball banh mi which took the cake. I have had this for the last 5 days in a row.

I would definitely say my go to is the fried pork meat ball.

Mrs Luus team are a young vibrant family operated business which have pleasure in serving their delicious meals to the world. I've developed a unique relationship with them over the last two weeks and are close to being on a first name basis. They see me walking down the street at 11am on the dot and smile.

Today, I left with the windows down screaming "I Love You Mrs Luu" from the top of my voice. Although this is how I feel on a daily basis, today was different. I had the pleasure of experiencing a one of a kind banh mi specially requested and specially made to order which will be a secret that her and I will share forever.

My wife has been away for 6 weeks visiting her parents and I can happily say, Mrs Luu has filled a void in my life over this period.

Thank you Mrs Luu.

Want the best Viet street food in Brissy? Come to Mrs Luus! 10/10. The pork rolls are cooked to perfection. The food is always fresh and the flavour is amazing.

After heading to their Milton store I was excited to find a second Mrs Luu's around town! I like to think of myself as a big vietnamese fan so couldn't get over the food at Mrs Luu's. The service was cheery and the taste - delicious! Lots of fresh ingredients and great flavours I will definitely be back.

As reliable as the sister outlet in Milton. Fresh, quality food. Proper amount of chilli. Brisk service.

I am inclined towards overordering each time however the leftovers seem to disappear

Hands down the most amazing flavour that will EVER pass your mouth - the fried meatballs Banh Mi.
This is only open for weekday lunch and you have to be early to get this orgasmic flavour hit! And at only $9 it's worth every cent!!

This is a place I’d heard about a while ago. There had been raves about their rice paper rolls and banh mi at the Milton store over a year ago. The obstacle to getting the food there, and at the newer outlet in Bowen Hills too, is that they open only on weekdays and only in daylight hours. The closing at 3pm means that unless you work locally or have a luxuriously long lunch break, your chances of ever getting getting to sample their wares are woefully slim. Also note, you may get there just before closing time, but there is also the risk that the banh mi you want to try most, and have raced the distance for, will have sold out by then.

I *love* these guys! Purely for consistency testing I've ramped up my Banh Mi intake and Mrs Luu's delivers everytime. Pork meatballs with a hint of chilli is an absolute winner (something I'd never order at Subway but here, #sogood) followed by pork chop, chicken then 3 little pigs in my book. Rice bowls are pretty good, lots of bits, but Banh Mi gets me back over and over.

Yummo. This little gem is a definite stand-out! Easily the best quick lunch feed in Bowen Hills. Will and have been back.

Banh mi FTW. Definitely have to try the banh mi. I have tried both the marinated chicken and 3 little pigs. 3 little pigs get my vote as 1 of the tastiest subs you will find. For $7.50 they are great value. Simple fresh ingredients, not complicated but damn good. Expect a line up at midday but the staff there work very quickly and get the food out in a timely manner. I will be going back!

Yum!. A great lunch spot!

Went the Pork chop banh mi for $7.50. Fresh ingredients, basic flavours done well. Worth checking out and at $7.50 pretty much on the money. Friendly staff who explained what the differences were with the pork alternatives.
