I was in the area looking for a place to have a quick lunch when I came across sushi railway. Wow! I was pleasantly impressed. Delicious and very fresh sushi at a very VERY affordable price. I tried 4 different types of sushi and the fish was very fresh (no dark colours, no funny smells), they also didn't over-do the sauces and mayo as well. This place offers plenty of options and if you are not happy with whatever is on the train they will cater for your request. However, I don't think you need to order sushi... in all honesty this is one of the most varied sushi trains I've been to. It's not exotic sushi but what you get is variety and the beauty of simplicity. I'd highly recommend this place if your budget is under $15-$20 per person.

Simply awesome sushi. The service is warm, the food has a great variety and is extremely fresh and the decor is spot on. The best sushi I have found in Brisbane

Definitely one of my new favourite spots, as sushi trains go this place has got to be one of the freshest. Heaps of variety, and I like that they have barriers between the food and the kitchen. Sunday special rates are awesome too. Only thing is, apart from the people in the kitchen there was no one around to ask for drinks from!

Great place to go. 1. There are menus. Just not on every setting.
2. Price is the same as all sushi places
3. Service is fine. They just don't hassle you.

I was amazed to read some of the negative comments as they didn't make sense. So now that's taken care of.... We go to this place at least once a week. One of the best train selections I've seen. Really good fresh seafood. Give it a go, you'll enjoy it!

One of my favourite sushi stops, come here quite regularly with my boyfriend. The service is always lovely, the food is tasty and fresh. Price wise it doesn't break the bank. Looking forward to coming in this weekend for some delicious sushi!

Like others can't believe there are bad comments about this place. Don't let them turn you off this place it was great.

Terrific Food. Well what can I say...As a Retail Consultant I get the opportunity to eat in many places and in different states, one area we teach is customer service but it is a pleasure to be welcome as soon as you come through the front door. Terrific food that will not disappoint the overall ambiance of this place is superb, and the customer service exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the experience here, not just the food.

I live down the road from this place and I go there all of the time. I love it! Even tho it is a TINY bit more expensive then some other sushi restaurants I think it's worth it and plus I'm pretty sure most of Hamilton can afford the extra 50¢ or so. (I am a student and i can). Every time i visit I get a welcome and if I don't its only because the girls on the floor are already providing customer service to others. I absolutely love their crumbed chicken and avocado and their chicken skewers which I always have with rice. So delicious! I think I'll go there now. Haha.

Sushilicious. Top shelf sushi most definitely prepared by Japanese hands. Its all done in front of you and its quite fascinating to watch them work. Food quality is amongst the best sushi I've had in Brisbane (or anywhere for that matter) so don't know where the two bad reviews are coming from. Guess you cant please everybody.
A little more expensive than you might pay for sushi elsewhere but the quality is better too. My wife and I filled up for $35. Happy enough with that. We could have payed less but I just 'had to' try one last dish (or two)!!! Nice comfy stools or booth seats. Plenty of room and a modern sort of feel. We will most definitely be back before to long. Probably even next Sunday.

The salmon is the freshest and best from any sushi place I've ever been to, and as a sushi fan I've tried a lot! We go here at least once a week and find it excellent. There is great variety on the train, enough that I rarely have to order what want as it's there. Sundays all plates are $3.50 which makes it excellent value! Staff are really friendly.

Looks dodgy asf when you look at store and decor... But the food is really good and I have never tasted better deep fried ice cream. Come here just for the tempura ice-cream. It will be a very well spent $5.50!!

Lovely food and lovely staff. Sushi Railway is often on the menu for lunch, being in such a convenient location. More then happy to point people in their direction!!
