Review Wynnum Garden Chinese Restaurant - Brisbane

Absolutely terrible. Soggy fried rice, frozen vegetables, and the "lemon chicken" is an old roast chook with lemon sauce poured over top. We ordered our favourite staples, as another restaurant in the area wasn't open at the time and we won't be back. The young lady on the front counter was very lovely and professional, but im sorry to say, we won't return

Doesn’t matter if you order during ‘peak time’ or late at night close to closing time, the food from here is ALWAYS hot and fresh! Everyone is always happy and friendly 🙂

Absolutely beautiful food, great service dim sims spring rolls absolutely awesome!

I ordered the Beef & Black Bean. The sauce was too thick & everything was overcooked, soft & soggy. The Spring Rolls I ordered were tasty but the sweet 'n sour dipping sauce they came with was odd in flavour. The prawn chips were excellent! I spent over $20 on dinner, & I'll finish it because I paid good money for it, but I'm very disappointed after reading pretty good reviews about the place.

i love this place!! awesome for all customer families with the option of high chairs and awesome service the workers especially the manager was so so kind, 100000% recommending to my friends and family the honey chicken was AMAZING they also have the vegetarian options that not many places ever have, there food is also really well cooked and seasoned. there spring rolls are my favourite. There is a vip room if you can book and is very fancy. I love wynnum garden!!!!!!! ( it is also BYO and Airconed if you ask)

Been going here or getting take away for 40 years. I love it. Standards have'nt changed much at all.

I was amazed with the Special Dish of San Choy Bow Shandy it had Beef, Sweet & Sour Pork, Chicken and then Shrimp with FRESH Vegetables and Veges in the Fried Rice. If you told me you could have all these meats in one I would tell you it wouldn't work. Don't tell anyone about this Gem of a Restaurant in Wynnum its too good to share.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner tonight. Satay skewers as an entree, short combination soup, large fried rice and honey chicken and Jerry had dim sims for his entree. And we polished the lot.

$20 minimum charge on eftpos! I've never encountered this before and without a doubt set the mood for a bad night. Food was average at best. Resteraunt decor is dated. Will not go back. Would suggest all avoid. Food was poorly packed resulting in spillage on the way home. Cook time was very slow.

Had take away from there Friday night.  Not even a busy time to explain the food.  The worst Chinese food I have ever had.  No fresh veges in it.  Chewy meat.  Watery sauces.  Fried rice that wasn't fried and was tasteless. Also expensive given the lack of quality.   Better off at the pizza shops just down the road.  They could not be any worse.

Awesome food and really friendly service. Decor has homely feel so it's a very casual and pleasant atmosphere. Chicken in a Phoenix nest is a must try 👌.
