Was a bit put off by the cold staff at first...we also had to get menus and water ourselves. However my seafood noodle soup was very reasonably priced considering the portion size - could almost feed 2 people. Lots of flavour and tasted very authentic.
fantastic all rounder for Vietnamese food. The prices are quite good too. My picks are the pork vermicelli salad, the beef salad and the bun bo hue. You cannot go wrong here.
Friendly and efficient staff. Food is delicious. Favourite dishes are Vietnamese Spring Rolls and Grilled Chicken. We booked for a group of 11 and our table was waiting for us. Service and delivery of food were quick. Food is fresh, cooked and presented well - yummy flavours and spices. Prices are really good. Our bill came in just under $200 - pretty good for 9 adults and 2 kids. We were all full and had a couple of takeaway containers to take home. We will be back - will definitely be our 'go to' Vietnamese restaurant for sure. Keep it up Vietnamese Hut!
We came on a weekday for lunch, it was nice and quiet with a few customers. The place is small and cosy. Their service was fast and I found they have a variety of options in their menu too. We ordered the Grilled Pork Banh Mi, Crab meat and Mince meat tapioca noodle soup, Tomato rice with Grilled chicken, and Rice with Quail.
All dishes were very delicious, with a good amount of ingredients and flavours. Portion sizes were generous too. The prices were reasonable too. I would definitely return to this restaurant when I crave Vietnamese food.
Their matcha shake and white coffee were also very good!
A small quiet restaurant at a small shopping centre with some pretty tasty food.
With the recent cooling of weather, I've been dropping in to have some rare beef pho which I like here. I would rate it a 4.
When Mrs Kan Do joined me for dinner she ordered a spicy lemongrass chicken with rice, which was a bit too oily and could have been a bit more flavoursome. We would rate it a 2.5-3.
The grilled pork chop with rice, seafood with rice, beef casserole and fried rice have all been quite tasty here from my past visits.
The wait staff are Sunnybank standard - adequate at best.
Overall, a restaurant with pretty decent food at good prices. I don't like that there is an eftpos surcharge, but that is a minor complaint.
Trying to get our Vietnamese fix after weeks of not having our usual, we decided to try The Vietnamese Hut located at Runcorn Plaza, opposite Warrigal Square. It was quite a quiet night so it was just a nice and peaceful dinner for us. As we sat down, we were given hot Jasmine Tea which was great as some restaurants now are charging for tea and opting it now with just tap water.
Nice Vietnamese food in a clean little casual restaurant. The Pho is fine, the bun is very good, and I really like the tofu hot pot. I do wish the hot pot included rice. Also, it bugs me a restaurant accepts EFTPOS but charges $1 to the customer... I know it doesn't cost them $1! Staff are friendly, good for a cheap weeknight meal.
After my Sydney trip, and a longstanding craving for tasty pho, I opted to try The Vietnamese Hut, which is situated at Runcorn Plaza, opposite Warrigal Square, where my usual pho joint, Rice Paper, is situated. The decour was clean and simple and I could see a wide variety of condiments provided as would be expected. We were promptly seated and provided menus.
Great service, efficient, and all dishes are very good here, from the Pho, to the amazing salads (the best!), pork, greens, all very good. One of the better Vietnamese spots in greater Brisbane I feel,
Excellent value, friendly staff. I have eaten lunch here many times and alway had a good meal. Crispy skin chicken and rice and the pho soups are delicious.
New management. Friendly staff. Food generally good. Pho combo meat was good but could have more different meat cuts. Beef stew was tasty, but could have added some greens. The dish that stood out for me was the salad with actually grilled pork. The char taste was good. Most other restaurants just stir fry their meats and called it grilled. The ice coffee could have less ice, more ice than coffee. Homemade lemonade has more sprite than lemon.
With wide range of choices. Highly recommended the special beef combination of rice noodles soup. The bowl is big enough for my husband. The crispy prok belly bun is one of my favourite food in Vietnam. It come with with shredded carrots, cucumber and coriander. The bun is served hot and crispy as well.
Little Vietnamese restaurant that also serves other Asian (Chinese/Thai) dishes. Fresh and tasty, big portions. Very nice pork chop with broken rice, crispy chicken and pho.
Drinks were also freshly made.
Excellent food, nice friendly staff. Good size servings.
This is my favourite local Vietnamese restaurant by far and probably the restaurant I visit most often in general. Always so fresh and tasty, the staff are lovely and I have never been disappointed in a dish. If you want Viet in the Eight Mile Plains/Runcorn area this is the one!
Very good food at reasonable prices. I’ve been a customer for years and the food has been at a consistent standard. Informal style, food and drinks are served at your table. The only thing is every card transaction is charged a fee, whether it’s a credit card or a debit card.
a story of today:
I am not hungry and random pick this store. I ordered spicy beef noodle soup. It is not spicy at all. BUT! BUT! I eat all of noodle and soup, I couldn’t stop to eat! Really good, thx for the meal.
Friendly family owned restaurant serving quality food. We really enjoyed their special beef Pho (no msg is a bonus). One of the best pho in Brisbane. Would come back again.
