Review Caffe Impero - Brisbane

Emma Savage
Delicious coffee and breakfast here. Would definitely recommend! I ordered a mushroom and spinach omelette with sourdough bread and a cup of latte. I wasn’t expecting much but everything was scrumptious! The barista had drew a lovely swan on my coffee. They use Maleny Daries milk and Veniziano coffee beans. Highly recommend dropping in for a coffee! The breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely return soon. My order was a bit difficult as I am allergic to certain foods, however, they were able to work around my obstacles and make me a delicious omelette. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and food at this cafe!

Had an eggs benedict with duck here the other day and was absolutely fantastic! The duck was just fabulous and the coffee was also very good. I ordered a latte and the male barista had drawn a beautiful swan on top. The price was mid range but overall very, very worth it! Should definitely try their foods and coffee! Side note: I didn’t get to try the dessert but they were also very beautiful. WILL DEFINITELY RETURN SOON!!!

Coffee here is consistently great. Pouring Fonsie Abbot which is improved from their last bean choice. Strict brewing parameters with beautiful latte art. Woman behind the counter yesterday was disappointing. Got my food order wrong because she didn't listen. Lacked genuine customer engagement. Need to work on customer service but if you want an excellent coffee, this is very good especially for a mall cafe.

I ordered with the gentleman and got served by the lady. I politely asked at what time they closed as it was 5.20 pm and he said 5.30 pm so he said it will be in Take Away I said of course that’s fine I understand. I was missing a smile from the man and a please or a thank you though. The lady delivered a nice take away coffee and a nice lemon curd tart. I really appreciated the non plastic spoon and non plastic container as I received wood product. So for that, I will come back.

For the previous review, we don't have two two Ham Egg Benedict for $38. It's $16.90 each. You must mixing up with other students running cafe nearby or you are one of them. For our dear customers or readers, please check our instagram @caffeimpero Those photos can tell you full story. Had nice day.

The chocolate muffin was really dry and dull. They also charge a surcharge for all card purchases under $10. I only discovered this when I looked at the receipt.. In my opinion they should inform customers of this as little sign at waist height is easily missed.

The coffee at this cafe was amazing. I had a double shot latte and it was absolutely perfect. The latte art is also very good! Recommend this cafe for sure! I will definitely be coming back soon.

Possibly the the worst Eggs Benedict i have ever had. Eggs where so badly under cooked they hardly held together. Sourdough was chewy and poor quality ham. We spent $38 so price isnt an issue. Would not reccomend this place to anyone.

Was very impressed with the standard of the coffee here. The barista took great pains to produce a smooth , robust brew. The service was also noteworthy as was the selections of sweets in the cabinet

I have never posted a review before but the service I received today was so awful and the owner so rude that I have been driven to expose this. I'm assuming she was the owner as nobody else made eye contact.
My mother-in-law and I were ordering lunch together. We were each contributing to the order as we always do. When I explained how I wanted my sandwich she said "I know!" very rudely. She then repeated this and shouted "She told me!" I was too shocked to reply. On the way out I asked for the name of the cafe and she shouted at me again and repeatedly shouted that I should look at myself.
My Mother-in-law and I were both shocked and embarrassed by her behaviour and cannot explain her rudeness. We had been once before and received lovely service from the male barista.
This horrible experience ruined my day and we will never go there again.

Not the first time to have coffee here. Maybe the opening of chatterbox, I was misled that this cafe was under new management and finally confirmed by the friendly owner that they have been trading here over seven years. Ordered my flat white and tried one of their daily special of Ham, cheese & pineapple fingers. Remembered that toasted fingers used to be my a-must order 30 years ago but there are more options nowadays. Both the food & beverage were above average. Coffee well presented with right strength. The toasted fingers really recalled my memory. Love to have a quiet and peaceful brekkie this morning. Thanks for Caffe Impero!

Worst big breakfast I have ever had. Not worth the money. For $21, I only got one piece of bacon, two eggs, toast and a small bowl of baked bean. It's less than a regular bacon and egg.

Maleny milk, Black Eagles VA388 coffee machine with latest Greviteac technology and Mythos 1 grinder, Veneziano Bond street. WOW.
Shopping centre cafe in its best.
Breakfast is great and I can pay with my card.

Caffe Impero - Upper Mount Gravatt, Brisbane. It may be located inside your typical, somewhat bland shopping centre in suburbia, this coffee shop provides some of the best, the most strong coffee within a reasonable radius of distance. The staff here must be doing something right, as it is had quite a turnout when my dining buddy and I decided to give it a go. Because he had recently discovered the Veneziano blend, the dining buddy had become quite fond of it as a coffee.

Often seeking out the coffees around the local area, this one was untapped thus with an errand done in proximity I shouted this place for some coffee. It has a good look to it that has some appearances of low-key. It is more child-friendly than the competition it has on the other side of the mall with activities to occupy the little ones and has a cash-only policy.

What also makes this place more appealing is there is simplicity to it, with the image of cafe-style service. Go in line, make your order then you get a table number. They are friendly and hard-working which adds even more to the place.

Firstly, it was an order for a couple of double shot cappuccinos. Of course, as coffee tastes objectively better from the porcelain cup we decided to have it there; secondly, in having it there something about only a cup of coffee feels, for lack of a better term, insubstantial. Thus, a couple of sweets were ordered on the side. A slice of apple pie and chocolate cake were selected from the cabinet.

The coffee here, as it was said before, is probably the best in a reasonable radius. To put it into a bit of better perspective, taking that aspect out the coffee here is still pretty remarkable in the very dominant market of coffee houses and cafes. The coffee served here has a great level of strength and a good, deep flavour. Its smooth texture also helps, with perfectly textured milk that creates a wonderful, lithe solution.

To go with a great coffee should be a good sweet, and it was as such here. Both the pie and the cake were delicious. The apple pie was filled generously with - well, the namesake fruit - coloured by a garnishing of raspberry (which made me initially think it was cherry pie), and a buttery crust. The cake was practically like eating mousse, delicious and dark chocolate mousse. These sweets were good quality and are worth trying out if staying for a bit.

Upon deciding a second round sounded good, a couple of piccolos were ordered. These second tries proved that the coffee here is good. It was still strong and went down the throat in a lithe manner. This proves again, sometimes the best coffee comes from where you don't expect it to or the average quality of coffee is simply getting better and some places see no excuses to not deliver. When in the area, this is worth stopping off at if you have the time on hand. There is plenty of options for drinks on the menu is coffee is not your preference.
