My boyfriend and I came here recently with a hankering for a big hot pot feast and we did not leave disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by the staff who then explained the process. Rather than one big pot, you get your own one which I think is great, that way you can have more than one broth to mix it up a bit. We picked the special soup (which was a chicken based broth) and also the mushroom broth; both were delicious but I would definitely say the mushroom was the standout for me. My only complaint would be that when the waiter came around to top up our broths he filled both pots with the same special soup broth so the mushroom broth ended up tasting the same as the other; I would have loved to have had more mushroom broth because it was so good. There is a nice selection of meats, fresh vegetables, noodles, tofu and sauces to go into your broth and you can also get made to order hot food. We had some dumplings which weren’t that great, I think they were just out of a bag so I don’t think I’d bother with those again but they were free so I can’t really complain. I would definitely recommend this place and will be heading back as soon as I can!
Very clean and very friendly staff. They have free salmon sashimi for each table. The food worth the money paid. The only lowlight was that the meat was not freshly cut, they all frozen and served from freezer, affecting the quality of taste.
It was a good dinner time with friends and the price is very friendly. Have lots choices can put in the hot pot. Also has ice cream and fruit.
Just the room is a little small.
And it's still good for a hot pot all u can eat!
Second time I've been here! Its great!! Huge selection of foods, including a few sweets and ice cream. The service wasnt so amazing this time but it was very busy so im sure they where doing the best they could. Tom yum soup base was amazing..
This is a pretty chill spot for a hot pot buffet and I must say I'm quite impressed in the selection of food available. Hot pot is always a favorite of mine and its tough finding decent places around Brisbane other than Sunnybank. Good selection of dipping sauces available as well as different soup base (including spicy), good bang for buck in the outskirts of Brisbane city :)
I liked it here because they give you the soups on the flame and then you choose from many different foods to put in the soups to cook. The room is a bit small and it was a bit hard for me to walk to the foods containers because my stomach is big. There are many Chinasians also eating which means the foods is good. My favourite was to put the squids and the egg in the soups because it tasted very good.
I always get excited when I hear of a hot pot meal. It's quite the soul food! A well-done hot pot can easily cheer you up, or fill you up at the very least. At 100 Degree, each diner is provided with their own hot pot and you have several options to chose from for your broth. Once you've paid and selected your broth, the food experience begins. The range of food items is excellent and it will often leave you spoiled for choice. However, the 2 hour limit on the eating experience is fair and will give you sufficient time to go over most of the food available. The food spread is pretty impressive. For starters, you have several sauces including hot chilli oil, sesame oil, soy sauce, oyster sauce so I generally start off my meal by prepping my individual dipping sauce. Several green vegetables and herbs are available as well. For the meat, you have beef, lamb and chicken in different styles and shapes, but all very edible and delicious! The seafood options are quite good with my favourites the whole tiger prawns and lobster balls. If you love your vegetables, there are several different types of mushrooms, tofu, greens and noodles. You will definitely find something that catches your interest. In addition to the large spread of raw foods, there's a hot food section as well, with some wonderful small eats such as dim sum, pork buns and other specials.
Service is friendly and prompt. The restaurant is of decent size but the area around the food section can be quite busy and one is advised to walk slowly and pay attention as you move around. It can feel cramped when your table is filled with plates and pots, that is if you're dining in a large group. However, I believe this adds to the social experience of being in a friendly and welcoming place. My burner seemed to go off frequently but the staff patiently had it replaced every time it went off. Do watch out for your broth, it's difficult to spot how high the flame is and quite often I saw broths overflow around me. Overall, 100 Degree does the basics right and delivers a nice overall experience with a wide range of items for a very reasonable price of $29.80. The meal is best enjoyed in large groups and ideally, you want to make sure you're there for the full two hours!
Very warm and nice little place. You get to choose different soup base (recommend the new one Bak-Kut-Teh). Probably should avoid going on a busy Friday night. I made a booking Thursday afternoon for 4-7 people and they called on Friday afternoon saying they only had a table for 4. 5 of us had to sit on a small table and 2 friends couldn't join. If you are going to make a booking and ain't sure how many would be going just give them the maximum number!
Was a good meal for something fun and different. Not a huge fan of hot pot style meals but the overall experience was good.
Outstanding food, fast service, good manner, great place the only issue would be room size^^ anyway, who cares we come for food. Worth price $28.8 include the soft drink. Everything is reasonable. Came here hundred times! Try the new soup it's amazing! Already drunk half soup before cooking my dinner! Good place for hangout and food! Enjoy the personal time with my friends. Best Asian hot pot in brisbane rather than Mel and syd. Good place for 4-5ppl together.
Amazing! The choice of raw and cooked foods is phenomenal for the price. Everything was fresh and tasted so good. You might want to book a reservation beforehand because it's a rather small venue and it can get busy. Will definitely be back for more!
Wonderful food, not too expensive but very tasty. Great atmosphere and variety. The $30 hotpot is probably better value if you eat seafood, but it's just as worthwhile for vegetarians :)
If you like hot pot - this is definitely worth a try.
Great variety of dishes, good soup bases, particularly the spicy Szechuan. The side dishes are also tasty, with deserts such as fruit, ice cream and cake.an amazing experience,if you're fine with $30 per person.
