We went here for dinner sunday night and it was absolutely delicious. The cocktail are really good and the food even better. We had the diavola pizza which is utter genius with the pumpkin puree on it, i hate pumpkin and never had it on pizza before, but this was just amazing. Also had the crab pasta, prawn focaccio and saffron arancini balls, everything was very good and upto the mark. The cocktails were amazing, something very different from the usual ones that you get everywhere. Our server, Vimala was very good, helpful and good to talk to. Overall great experience, love the high ceilings, food and drinks on point. Will be back soon!!
Can to try SMC out for their high cheese and was blown away by the entire presentation! The truffle brie was so cheesy and rich and delicious with such a strong flavour of truffle! The cheese and fruit platter was delicious, I especially loved the truffle Pecorino, but the blue cheese was too sharp for me(I'm not really a blue cheese fan). The cheese sticks were divine, but the burrata was rather flavourless and tasted like cotton wool. The dessert platter was phenomenonal! The cheesecake was delicious and refreshing, ending the meal on a high note. Definitely worth trying at least once for all cheese lovers out there.
The food is excellent. The crab tagliolini was tasty and a generous serve. Wood fired pizzas are large and beautifully presented. The homemade meatballs were suggested as an entree, but were more than enough as a main. Italian serving size always means there is plenty of food on your plate. Cocktails and wine lists are good, with enough variety for even the fussiest of diners. The only let down of the evening was the service. We arrived to an enthusiastic and welcoming waitperson, but once seated we didn't see them again. It was difficult to catch the eye of any of the staff so we could place an order. When we finally cornered a waiter and placed our order, we waited and waited for a bottle of water to be brought to the table. This was a Wednesday night and it was not overly busy by any means. If anything, they may have been down a staff member on the floor. Overall, we could not fault the food, drinks, and the presentation and flavours of both. Pick up the table waiting and you'd be close to 5 stars.
