I ordered a karage chicken and received chicken schnitzel presented like karage. Obviously they've used the chicken for curry chicken and tried to palm it off as karage. I could also tell that it's not run by Japanese people so I guess that I shouldn't be too surprised. Giving this 2 stars because thankfully I like schnitzel and was in a rush otherwise I would've asked for a refund and gone elsewhere. I'm definitely not returning. 😒

The food looks amazing, we ordered savoury dishes not dessert. That's where it all went wrong. To much sweetness in my unagi bento box. Even the salmon poke salad sauce was too sweet. It's a real pity we couldn't enjoy our amazing looking dishes.
I would return if the sugar content is reduced down to a quarter of what they do now. Sorry for bad review. Sugar is sweet poison. Just way too much sugar in your food. Looks n presentation amazing, but taste n healthy goodness is key to my happy belly.

Best Vegetarian Sushi Varieties in Town! I love the place, it is also so authentic, but with budget prices and take away is a big tick star of approval. Connivence, Authentic, Budget and great tasting too :-). Healthy as well. Would give it a 5/5 too :-).

Sushi is bad but the cooked dishes from menu are good. Teppanyaki beef was good. However, during peak times, might be abit of a wait. There is always a 6 dollars deal going on.

Bought some sushi, $2 each on weekends. They were good. Karaage chicken sushi roll was a little dry.

Feeling peckish as I walk through the Food Court, I ask for a Salmon & Avocado Roll ($2.60) and a Smoked Salmon Roll ($2.20). These Hand Rolls look humongous and are cheap! Unfortunately, the filling is limited and there is lots and lots of rice! If you are a rice lover, these Rolls are for you!

The Japanese Laksa from here is an absolutely delicious dish! Plus for only $8.50 it is incredible value for money, deadset steal. Definitely recommend!

My goodness Suncrane Toowong has been serving sushi almost as long as the centre has been there. An original Japanese sushi with quite good hot meals. Cheap. Just a three.

Love their fried rice and yakisoba! Cheap and delicious! Suitable for the international student who need to save money like me. Came here often and the food never upset me

Came here on a Saturday 11ish. It was quite consistently busy. I ordered teriyaki chicken and a bottle of water and it came to $8 very good value for money. It was a great portion for the cost. I didn't particularly like it however
There were so many onions I mistook them for noodles and the rice wasn't very tasty either. Very gluggy! For freshly made it was very fast although and most people were getting their order within 5 minutes or less of ordering.

polite staffs and fast service! highly recommend :) the grilled chicken is definitely a good one, not mentioned it's 6 dollars only! too cheap to have such good quality

For fast food outlets I think Toowong shopping centre has the edge. Another great Japanese fast food is Suncrane. The food is very cheap & tasty. I actually had the teriyaki fish with some miso soup to start, all tasted fresh with good spice hit & service was fast & friendly

Best fried rice I have ever eaten. Great pricing and amazing portioning. Time and time again I'll come back to get that fried rice. I highly recommend others try it. Been coming here since 2006 to get the fried rice and it hasn't changed, thank god!

Worst Chicken Karage I've ever eaten. Six pieces of chicken that tasted like the tempura chicken nuggets you get at Coles. No flavour, No BBQ sauce as stated and hardly any mayo. Even the rice was flavourless. To make matters worse one of the men in the kitchen was picking something out of his teeth with his finger and then proceeded to cook food on the stove top. Will not be eating here again.
Easily the best Japanese in Toowong. Been coming here for 7 years, never a bad meal. Can't go wrong with the Katsu Don or Katsu Curry (pictured). Prices went up slightly with the recent Toowong Tower refurbishments, and the quality and sizes went up to match.

The Japanese laksa tasted really good, but the sushi was some of the worst sushi I have ever had.
The food is at a good price though and I would have the soup again, but not the sushi.

Below Average. Took 30 min for a simple vege Bento box.. Sushi was falling apart and the tempura was undercooked.. Not happy...

Not a bad lunch spot. The food is nice and not overly expensive. I have had sushi chicken udon and katsu curry. All have been quite nice and not a complaint about service as yet.
Heyer
Katsu Curry. Breadcrumbed chicken or pork filet served on Shortgrain white rice, covered in thick, rich Japanese style curry.

Best katsu curry in the neighbourhood, excellent spot to visit on lunch break, talented chefs who cook and prepare food right in front of you. Very reasonably priced. A-
