If it wasn't for this place, gentrified Bowen hills would have remained a baron dead-zone of questionable IGA poultry and sloppy subway sandwiches. Tipplers tap are getting lazy with their wings and I ain't walking that far coz if I did, I might as well succumb to overpriced fish sticks and gringo friendly burritos. Haru's quality takes me back to the enchantment of Kyoto and what about dat price tho?

Most of the menu is good. I like their chicken karaage. Don't order their ramen. It's just instant noodles with some veggies top.

Very disappointing the last two visits. I’ve visited just after 12 twice this week only to find only one type of rice paper roll available. Were there any other options in the area they’d have lost my business. Clearly with Easter their desire to ensure customers have a decent variety of food available isn’t high on their list of priorities. I ended up getting a chicken karage curry instead which had almost no chicken. Very unimpressed!

Ordered from here for the first time on Tuesday and must say I was impressed with the pricing and portion size of the Karaage chicken meal. They have daily specials during lunch where the meals are 9.90!

The sushi is expensive, 12.50 for 6 pieces 2 of which are the end pieces that have nothing in them. I couldn't finish the sashimi because the salmon was brown and slimy, it was disgusting.
