They have the best wings I have eaten in my entire life. Would highly recommend the BBQ bourbon, Portuguese cayenne and the buffalo! The service is amazing, the board games are a winner and the beer is goooood. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers on tap. 100% my go to!
My partner and I went to somewhere for a hot Wings challenge, and they had already closed their kitchen. Decided to go to the crafty fox bc it was close to home.
Asked if we could get the buffalo wings hotter, and was told that we could in fact, get some hellfire wings.
10/10. They were hot, and really tasty. Definitely hot enough for me.
We have eaten hotter food before, but it’s pretty rare to find something this hot and tasty!
The bartender was also really nice, and me my partner Will definitely come back
Love this venue. It has a real nice vibe where you actually want to hang and have some nice food and some pretty amazing beers. We came here to try their new beers on tab but ended up staying for dinner. Our little girls demolished the wings. These looked amazing. We ordered the pizza which was cooked so nicely. Super fresh ingredients with crunchy base. We ended up talking to jack on the night who was so nice to talk us through the selection of beers on tab. Perfect service and a surprising perfect dinner. Give this place a go as it has all the perfect elements of a lovely night with great company.
Went here on a Thursday night the other week. We bought an array of food so we could have a taste of many things and the wings and pizza are to die for. The place itself isn’t posh, but instead is chilled and relaxing and feels homey, with the friendly vibes the staff give out and the exceptional standard of the food. If you are ok with the basic scenery and want some drinks and decently priced, delicious eats with friends, you can’t go past crafty fox.
Not really into the alehouse/ pub food, but in this instance the cook did a great job. Admittedly it was only basic pub grub such as burgers & pizza but they were done well & in generous portions. Top marks also for the sweet potato fries, crispy, light & yummo. Also some delightful crumbed prawns cooked perfectly plump & juicy with a light crumb & dipping sauce. Pizza was thick based but light with good texture & lots of topping. Veggie burger patties were moist & thick , good buns plenty of salad. All served by a very happy barman!
A friend and I dropped in for some chicken wings and milkshakes and we left pretty satisfied and happy! For chicken we tried the buffalo, southern fried and bourbon flavours. They all came out freshly fried and within reasonable time. But I wouldn’t go for the buffalo wings again - sauce promised some spice but all we tasted was sourness which was unpleasant and the chicken was disappointingly soggy from being drenched in it. However big yes to the other 2 styles though! Crispy fried deliciousness. Great flavour in the bourbon one. The oreo milkshake I had also really hit the spot. Super delicious!
Huge bonus points for service which was fantastic. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience for me!
