I worked in the Myer centre in 1996 for a few years. Oh how it has changed, yet stayed the same. In 1998 there was a roller coaster on the top floor. 24 years on Myer is still the feature and the stores in the centre are the back bone. We visit every time we stay in Brisbane at least 2 times a month.

I love the cinemas with discounts for students and the arcade next to the cinemas. The food court has plenty of options, and there there is also a Target and Coles. What I do not like is the pricey car park, but I guess that's normal in the city.

We go here most Sundays mainly looking for bargains in clothing etc. It does not disappointment. Plenty of places to eat also. Can well recommend.

Just window shopping as such. Reasonable prices, EOFY sales, and stock levels high. Staff were helpful and friendly

Ah good old Myer Centre, the protagonist of Queen Street Mall. I can always rely on the bus level bathroom being open even when it's midnight and they've closed the upper floors... The Myer Centre is not new for sure, but does well enough to hide its age. The size and open design is pleasant and is something noticeably missing from the other five QSM shopping centres (except Queens Plaza, which is just extra). The retail shops on the upper floors, while somewhat hidden, should not be overlooked for their variety. It's cool that the bus station is integrated, but it can be frustrating to figure out how to get from one platform to another. The design is confusing for people who are used to the common bus stations where inbound and outbound have their respective platforms on opposite sides.

Gotta love an outdoor mall. This place is huge! Busy but you can manage to get around from store to store fairly easy. Smoking on the outskirts of the mall. Less food more shop which is a plus being most plazas in Australia I've seen host a lot of fast food stores

Great spot to catch up with friends and family, shop a little, eat a little. Great social hub.
