Ordered the chicken schnitzel burger which was delicious - portion was quite large but quite pricey. The burger contained a schnitzel, lettuce, cheese and mayo which was very tasty but not the most healthy option. There were also other burger options and many other fried snacks to choose from.
Had a roast pork sandwich with coleslaw. It was delicious. $9 for the sandwich and super filling and fresh.
Not too oily and they popped a nice bit a crackling on top of the sandwich which was a nice surprise when I unwrapped it. Staff are friendly enough and service is quick.

Very Tasty. Food was very fresh and quite flavourful– a pleasant surprise to find in a food court! Prices were pretty good so if you’re in the market for paninis or sandwiches, this is a great place to visit!
Walking through the Airport DFO, there were a lot of fast food places and a lot of variety. Only wanting something small, my partner and I settled on Taste Bar as they had a selection of items from burgers (ranging from approx. $4.50-$8), fish & chips as well as paninis. In that we were going to be splitting this afternoon pick-me-up snack, my partner and I decided on the Grilled Vegetable, Spinach, Aioli & Feta on Turkish Bread ($8.50), small Wedges ($4.50) and a regular Flat White ($3.50). Although there had been some confusion to find where the line-up actually started, we eventually got our order in which was taken by a woman who was, like the other staff, efficiently working and quite friendly. We paid with our credit card then waited for our food to be called out.
It didn’t take long for our order as we had chosen our sandwich from the display case and it just needed to be warmed up. The wedges were also in trays in hot display cases so we could see what they looked like and they actually looked like wedges and not mushy chips as a lot of establishments have!
The small serving of wedges were a very generous size! Hot, crisp and lightly salted, these wedges were delicious on their own and didn’t need a dipping sauce to help them along! Some of the wedges still contained some potato skin which added to the texture and added to the flavour of the potato inside.
The Turkish sandwich was heated up substantially so we had to wait a bit for it to cool down! The filling was thin but I am all about the “less is more” when it comes to distinct savoury flavours. The grilled veggies seemed to be eggplant and capsicum, one of which may have been pickled which was a beautiful stark contrast to the creamy aioli and the rich feta. The spinach had softened but still was a wonderful finish to this mouth-watering delight!
My flat white was okay, good enough for a food court coffee but nothing spectacular. If you’re looking for a coffee as a treat to pamper yourself, this is not the coffee for you. Only passible if you are in desperate need of caffeine.
Overall the experience at Taste Bar was really good – impressive, in fact! A healthy choice (perhaps not the wedges!) and at a great price! The food was definitely fresh and of good quality! I would certainly go back and definitely recommend Taste Bar to other hungry shoppers!
