Staff were friendly. The car was clean but they didn’t have all the damage listed for the vehicle so when we went to turn in the car the handler assumed we’d damaged it but noted we had the insurance and didn’t need to pay. So just a warning always take photos of all angles I didn’t even notice the chip in the windshield when I was taking photos and just got lucky you could see it in the shot.
If you look at the photo closely inside the white circle you can see the chip looks like a white dot and that was enough evidence for the attendant.

I booked a mustang online for a weekend away to visit family. Mere hours before arrival, I was notified that the car would not be available. Over the phone, I was told that I would have the choice of a premium vehicle to use on its place but every effort would be made to arrange the vehicle I'd booked.
Little did I know that they would follow through! I got the replacement car, and drove to our first location not too far from Brisbane CBD and spent the night.
I was contacted at 8:30am the following morning by Hertz and told that a mustang was available and they would deliver it to my accommodation.
They did a fantastic job of communicating and following through with delivering the car I'd booked, and did their best to ensure a smooth exchange. They made the best of what stared as a bad experience.
I was blown away by the customer service.
And blown away by one of the best driving experiences I've ever had.

good experience, polite people and a nice tidy vehicle very pleasant to drive. Got a Hyundai Kona, very talkative vehicle, pointing out traffic, speed cameras etc. recommended for lone trips down the Bruce. Filled up before drop off as always $20 from the sunny coast to here. Airport was packed made the flight with minutes to spare, why they book us such easy flights is beyond me, haha oh well it is what it is.

An absolute pleasure to deal with. From the chap who dealt with our booking on site and made it a quick and easy process, the young man at drop off and the lovely lady.from lost and found organised to return our jacket we left in the car. Very impressed.

Hired a car from Brisbane airport for 14 days and gave it back in perfect condition and a full tank for fuel. After 10 days of it being returned i had a couple thousand dollars taken from my account with no exploration. I’ve sent 6 emails and 1 Facebook message and haven’t received a reply as to why the money was taken out of my account. I live overseas and only have these options of communicating with them. This company is disgraceful and I will not recommend them to anyone. I will tell customers to stay away with how my experience had been

Terrible customer service experience with Paul. Advice to all future customers, don’t use a third party site to book with Hertz. I used booking.com and was refused help with my booking because of it. I was told that as I hadn’t booked directly it wasn’t their problem. Second bad experience with Hertz. There are lots of other car hire places at Brisbane Airport, use them instead
