Review Meet Eat Treat Indian Chaska - Brisbane

Nice little Indian restaurant in close proximity to The Gabba stadium. The butter chicken was smooth and creamy, the pikoras were fluffy and oniony and the chicken Tikka was tender and flavoursome... overall great price, friendly service and this will be a go to for future game nights.

I saw this business on Uber Eats under the name Char Flame Grilled Chicken and then looked it up on Google and ordered it from there as it was really straightforward. When my partner and I went to pick it up, the restaurant of that name didn’t exist and so we went into the restaurant at the same address and asked whether we were in the right place. The lady had no record of our order but the menu was the same so I believe it was the same place. She was very nice about it and said she would make our food for us, and she did so very quickly and politely. I have no idea if she received my payment or not so I’m grateful that she was willing to do that. When we got home (a 10min walk max) our food was ice cold. Both of our meals (a wrap and a burger) both contained icy cold chicken and really thick cuts of veggies and the ends of a few too which is just a bit rank. My wrap was quite soggy and tasted like nothing except slightly burnt and spicy and was basically half red onion (not nice). My partner’s burger was similar, he also had really hard bits of something in his. We’ve had a lot of takeaway over both our lives and agree that it was the worst we’ve ever had both in terms of initial confusion and then the actual meal. We also started not feeling great- don’t know if that’s to do with the food or not. I love supporting small businesses and am not one to leave a bad review so this is a real bummer but serving cold chicken is straight up a health risk and is not okay. I would call the restaurant and pass this on but their usual number doesn’t work. I suggest to the restaurant to sort out the name, website, and phone problem and also to please make the effort to warm your food even if it is sat out cold so at least we won’t know. Very disappointing. I hope in letting everyone know these issues can be rectified and we can visit again for some better food.

Have ordered from The Royal Punjab many times and live in the suburb so it’s our go to Indian restaurant. Staff are always friendly and food is always up to a great standard, we love the butter chicken and naan bread but so many other great dishes we’ve tried over the last year. Highly recommend 👌🏻

This was by far the worst, not just Indian but food I have ever eaten. It was like the cook ( cause in no way could he have been a chef ) knocked the salt off the self above where he was cooking our food and thought we wouldn't notice that salt was all we could taste. To add to the insult I ordered the vindaloo cause I like extra spicy food. It was in no way spicy at all. An overall terrible dining experience, so we walked out and left all the food on the table and went across the road where we know the food is great every time.

Found the experience dining here good overall with tasty dishes such as the butter chicken and coconut rice. However, briyani dish was too salty. Lighting of the restaurant is dim and too dark. Service was good but cutlery and drink bottle could be cleaned better. Price is reasonable with delivery or takeaway options.

Had the (dis)pleasure of visiting this place when I was hankering for a vindaloo to blow out my tomorrow sitting on the toilet. We ordered a chicken biryani, a lamb & beef vindaloo with some naan breads. First off, the food took upwards of 45 minutes to come out despite there being only another 2 pairs of patrons in the establishment at the time. It also came out in waves that make no sense when you didn't order starters and just main meals. I want the rice, the meat and the naan at once to mop it up. The disappointment that was the chicken biryani arrived first - which was a good 10 minutes before the rest of the food so was nice and cold by the time the rest came out. It was bland but I wasn't worried about it as it was going to be mixed with the vindaloo anyway so it didn't matter - or so I thought. The vindaloo - absolutely disgraceful. Next to no spice and inedible. I usually like salt in my food, but didn't realise I'd be getting salt *for my food*. I could feel my lips shrivelling up after each bite and was done after 3 mouthfuls as I could see the meal was heading towards a lethal dose of sodium chloride pretty soon. The best part of the meal was walking out and going across to Korean Chicken & Beer across the road - never disappoints.

doesn’t even deserve half a star! fraudulent businesses like this should be closed and be reported. i ordered gol gappa and they served only water with it when i called them up the girl/woman who picked up the phone , upon me asking about the missing filling for it had the audacity to tell me they mixed the filling in the water that was served with it! the water had just onions and golgappa filling is not only onion! such shame! also they have a different name on uber eats than the restaurant. too much salt in the water for golgappa . how can and why would you want to fool customers? i paid 14$ for nothing but salty water and some puris that were i think the premade ones or store brought.
